Miami, FL Indian Wedding by Nami Dadlani Photography

It's hard to not have a fabulous event at a fabulous venue like the Turnberry Isle Miami, but throw in some of the most inspiring and luxurious floral and decor, and you can safely say you've hit it out of the park. Petal Productions has transformed the reception space into a lavish setting fit for a Maharani on her big day, and the proof is in the pudding — in this case, the pudding is a collection of stunning images captured by Nami Dadlani Photography. The mandap has seamlessly evolved from ceremony to after-party, and is now a romantic sweetheart stage. I adore the darling, gold mirrored bud vases and the bunches of cascading orchid centerpieces. The tablescapes are just phenomenal. Cookie Pursonality designed a sweet wedding cake in white and gold that plays in perfectly with every other striking element from this amazing affair. There are numerous, gorgeous details beyond just these ones here, and to see them all head on over to the complete gallery.

Memphis, TN Indian Wedding by Amy Hutchinson Photography

Maharani Sheetal and her Prince Charminng have swapped their ceremony looks for some seriously fabulous party duds. Today's princess is rocking a coral-colored lengha with a champagne blouse, and to top off her fashionable frock, she's accessorized with a coral-designed necklace! What fab taste! The happy couple are about to celebrate their wedding reception at the Canon Center for Performing Arts, in Memphis, Tennessee, where Bombay House will be catering the evening's festive fare, and Prime DJs will be providing the body-movin' beats and mood lighting for the happy couple and their guests to party to. Amy Hutchinson Photography caught up with the newlyweds before it was time to hit the dance floor for some stunning portraits, and don't these two just melt your heart?! I don't know what's sweeter, them or their wedding cake by Ginger Clark. We're told that Message In A Bottle Productions was also in attendance, and has created a spectacular highlight reel — I don't know, maybe I can pull a few strings and we can take a look at it! Until then, get your fill of this fantastic South Asian celebration in the complete gallery.

The bride, on her most memorable wedding moment:

"Right before the DJ introduced Amit and I into the reception place we were on the 3rd floor above where we could see everyone enjoying themselves while we had alone time."

On selecting the first dance music:

"We chose Etta James' At Last for our first dance song because we felt like it applied to our relationship. For our cake cutting we went with Elvis Presley's Fools Rush In to carry on with our Memphis theme."

On the role family and friends played:

"Many friends and family came together to help out with planning and executing the wedding and we cannot thank them enough!"

We hope you loved today's Indian wedding, and this unforgettable bride, as much as we did. Have an amazing rest of the day, Maharanis!

The bride, on her wedding style:

"Our wedding was a fusion of modern and traditional elements. It was very important for us to stay local and choose vendors from around the area. Memphis has been my home for several years and we truly enjoy the rich culture and soulful history this city offers. We made every effort to showcase these details into our wedding. Our colors and styles for the events were very diverse. Our garba/rehearsal dinner was located at a manor near my parents house, it had very rustic tones and we incorporated many details along with this theme. We used the outdoor area for lawn games such as cornhole (which Amit and I used to play on campus all the time). The interior was wooden where we had lights strung inside for a barn feel, we also used many mason jars and earthy tones to bring out the rustic feel. For the wedding we went with a traditional Indian style, with rich golds, cremes, blushes, and corals to tie together the look. We loved our chandelier in our fabric draped mandap. All of our local vendors did a great job creating an Indian style. For our reception we decided on a modern lounge style. We found a beautiful location on the Mississippi River, the Canon Center had a wonderful lobby with large glass windows that demonstrated a beautiful view of the river and Memphis Bridge. The cocktail hour was held on the 3rd floor of the building with open views of the reception area below. The guests were able to enjoy the gorgeous sunset while having our signature cocktails (Lit Amit, a spin on Jack and Ginger Ale/Lemon, and 3 'Sheets' to the Wind, a blend of vodka, sparkling pink lemonade, and cucumbers) Our reception continued with the lounge feel with blue uplights, a white dance floor with our Gobo. We had a second floor balcony where our guests were able to see all the performances down below."

On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"The best part of the wedding was seeing all the small touches come together. I love planning, especially the small details, even Amit joined in on the fun and created bobbleheads of us in Indian clothes to place next to the guest book. Everything turned out beautifully and our friends and family had a great time."

It's almost time for today's Maharani to get down and celebrate. Don't miss out!
