She dazzles in her traditional, red bridal lengha, accessorized with a delicate dupatta and some of the most enviable wedding jewels we've seen — just check out those bangles! Bombay Beauty Salon glammed her up just as she had envisioned, and as her groom gets his first look at her in these portraits by Amy Hutchinson Photography, we're certain his heart skipped a beat. As this terrific twosome pose for these memorable pics, preparations are underway for the ceremony of a lifetime. The bride, on selecting her wedding lenghas:

"Amit, our moms and I took a week trip to India. We were able to find all of our outfits, bridesmaids and groomsmen outfits, and our family's outfits in a weeks time including travel time!"

On her hair and makeup:

"I spent countless hours finding the right look on Pinterest. Our team was able to replicate everything we were looking for."

Happy Monday, Maharanis! It was such a delightful surprise for today's Indian wedding to come across my desk. It features an incredible bride, who I can personally say I know is absolutely fabulous. Years ago, Maharani Sheetal and I, studied in Florence, Italy, together — as young, impressionable women. She had a penchant for taking black and white photos, developing them, and gifting them to us. I still have mine. These portraits of her and her Prince are anything but black and white though. Amy Hutchinson Photography captured this beautiful couple in true-to-life, vibrant detail. These breathtaking pics from their pre-wedding celebration and rehearsal at the Hillwood at Davies Manor are so sweet, they just might give you a cavity, or two. The lovely bride is as elegant as can be in a white gown, and she simply dazzles in her aqua-colored lengha. Her hair and makeup were flawlessly finished by Bombay Beauty Salon, who also expertly designed her bridal mehndi. Raja Amit is as equally handsome in his modern suit and traditional sherwani. The bride, on how she met her Raja:

"Amit and I met when we were in undergraduate college. We have known each other for years. We have always stuck together since then. I continued my studies in Medicine, while he pursued a career in Law. Our careers have made it difficult to be in the same city for years. We have been in a long distance relationship and have driven many miles and taken many flights to see one another. I knew he was the one through all the commitment and dedication this relationship has required."

On the romantic proposal:

"For our engagement, Amit decided to surprise me. At first, he threw me off the trail by telling me that he wanted to wait until the following year. He came to Memphis and set up an elaborate scavenger hunt to lead to the proposal in a storybook format. The hunt included flowers, brunch with my best friends, mani/pedis, dessert with my parents, and finally car service that lead me to the botanic gardens where I met him amongst a rose petal bed. He thought of every single detail including words of a fairy tale with our pictures on each page."

It's almost time for the fortunate guests of this sensational event to feast on a magnificent spread catered by S3 Caterering, then burn it off on the dance floor when DC's Dynasty drops the celebratory beats to boogie down to. Today's Indian bride is a vision in navy and gold, her reception lengha a true sight to behold! Her hair and makeup is the peak of Maharani dream's thanks to Bridal Elements' deft artistry and talent. These unforgettable images captured by Nadia D. Photography, from the event, with you. A little birdie told me this wedding was 18 months in the making and you'll be able to see — not a single detail was left out. The venue at the The Grand America Hotel was a breathtaking choice by our bride and you may remember seeing it, and other featured highlights from this event, in this incredible film by Pacific Pictures. Our picture perfect Princess is gorgeous and graceful in her traditional red, green and gold bridal lengha, and her hair and makeup and mehndi, by Bridal Elements has enhanced her beauty to an entirely other level. Occasions by Shangri-la designed this impressive affair, and their floral and decor work is truly representative of the epitome of Indian wedding decorations — every single element is so mind-blowing! The mandap is straight out of a fairy tale and the charming ceremony backdrop of greeneries and flowers is a detailed and splendid addition. Welcome back, my darlings! Let's continue our journey in Arizona with this handsome couple's regal reception at the luxurious The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain, thanks to the amazing pictorial skills of Sameer Soorma Studios! Now I already wow'd you with the magical mandap by Us 2 You Party Rentals, but that was just the beginning. Feast your eyes on the breathtaking banquet hall transformed by silk curtains, countless candles & luminous lighting. Wild Child Floral Design flawlessly fills the grand room with picturesque, pink orchids! Speaking of picturesque, Maharani Ashley is a striking vision in this champagne-colored gown - by Hapreet Narula - as she took the dance floor with her handsome, new hubby! And they weren't the only ones to dance the night away. I heard Wicked Entertainment had the guests crowding the dance floor all night by playing high-energy Hindi & Bhangra beats! What a blast! "...For my reception outfit I knew I did not want to wear a Lehnga again. We searched high and low for a fusion dress and found one and Hapreet Narula - the gown was actually straight from a runway show. It was a dream come true to wear such an amazing outfit."

On the jewelry:

"The wedding and reception Jewelry was a present from my parents. The wedding set was gold and emerald and the reception set was diamond."
