Today's bride put her wedding day fate in the hands of planner, Pawar Inc., and she indeed made the right choice. As our bride gets ready for what is possibly the most memorable day of her life thus far, Katie Lopez Photography and Bridges Cinema are behind the lens to capture her final precious moments as a single Maharani. This reception post is a doozy, Maharanis! Like I said earlier today, I had too many amazing shots from this gorgeous wedding to choose from, and as you can see from the final exclusive look at this event, I included a bit more than we usually do. I had too! The ever amazing team at Sonal J. Shah Event Consultants really went above and beyond and created one of the most unforgettable and romantic wedding receptions I've seen to date. All of the stunning floral arrangements by Design House Decor turned this ballroom into a luxurious springtime wonder with every delicious detail. Kudos to Salwa Photography for snapping up some really memorable shots that are sure to inspire so many brides-to-be. All-in-all, I'm just in awe of today's wedding and wish it wasn't over. "I think the entire reception was the most fun part of the whole wedding week! It was when Amish and I were both just able to relax, spend non-stressful time with family and friends and dance the night away. We just had a lot of fun and this is the part I miss the most about the wedding."

On friends and family:
"None of this would have been possible without the help of sooo many family members and friends. I can't even begin to list the people and the tasks they helped with."

Welcome back, Maharanis! As promised, I'm back with some spectacular wedding details from our adorable Rhode Island couple, Bijal and Amish. The ceremony venue has been decked out by Design House Decor with the sweetest florals and design details imagined by the talented team at Sonal J. Shah Event Consultants- a true win/win wedding team of vendors. The cherry blossoms at the altar are so perfectly pink and princess appropriate. All of these breathtakingly stunning images by Salwa Photography really capture the spirit and style of our lovely bride's wedding ceremony. I made sure to incorporate some shots of just the floral and decor so you can really appreciate the look of it all. Make your way to the gallery for even more from this luscious event.

The bride on her wedding style:

"I always knew that I wanted fresh flowers and the wedding to have a very romantic feel to it.
I wanted the mandap to be more modern/floral rather than have the traditional Indian touches to it (because everything else would be very traditional Indian). And my favorite color is PINK, so I knew I wanted to focus on that color without it being too overwhelming - so with our decorators, we went with soft pinks, creams, golds, etc.. My bridal bouquet was a mix of the creams, pinks and the maroon/red that was in my panetaar - so it pulled together all aspects."

On shopping for her lengha:

"We went shopping in India.

Ganesh Pooja sari - G3 in Surat, Gujarat
Mendhi Salwaar - designed by a friend's mom
Grah Shanti Saree - Friendship in Bombay
Garba Chaniya Choli - Paris in Surat
Wedding Panetaar/Saree - Benzer in Bombay
Reception Lengha - Kalki in Bombay

I did spend a decent amount of time on the internet - but I learned very quickly that when you are actually doing the shopping, you have to let go of everything you thought you would be able to find and just have to go with the flow. For example, I always thought (for years) that my reception lengha would be fuschia or magenta pink - and it ended up being all white. You just never know!"

With two ceremonies under their belt, these newlyweds are ready to celebrate and they don't skimp on the style! This reception has some of the coolest elements I've seen! It's all about the little details from the NYC inspired favors to the "make your own s'mores" bar to the epic dessert table, I love it all! What's pretty and pink and glamorous all around? This bride's mandap, that's what! Our gorgeous gal and her handsome groom are as perfect as can be, so of course, they need a mandap to match! These amazing shots by Damion Edwards Photography illustrate just how beautiful the setting for their ceremony is. From the sweet-as-can-be floral arrangements lining the aisles to the sparkle of the hanging tea lights and the glitter of the curtains, this ceremony is definitely one for the books! "I initially wanted a "traditional" wedding look, and a modern, unique reception. The colors for the reception were actually my husband and our designer, Vikram's idea. We decided to carry some of that peach color into the wedding. Although the decor for the wedding ended up being modern, it ended up being a lovely juxtaposition to our traditional outfits."
