Huntington Beach Indian Wedding by Global Photography

If you loved Pooja’s Sangeet lengha, I have a feeling you are going to go bananas when you see her jaw-droppingly gorgeous reception lengha.  It’s elegant and it’s chic.  And, it’s got the silhouette of a Oscar dress combined with the glitz and glam of a bridal lengha. As if this Maharani’s clothes and jewelry weren’t enough to make you fantasize that you were at a royal ball, just wait until you lay eyes on her reception.  Blues, purples, oranges, and a dash of pink blooms come together to create this very majestic affair.  Square Root Designs always seems to blow me away by using simple, refined details, like mirrors, that are unexpected but flawless at the same time. In true Maharani fashion, Pooja and her Prince Charming made a splash for their grand entrance….take a look at what they had up their sleeve!

Big thanks to David Yusef,  Global Photography, our Mrs. Maharani Neera Auntie for their work on this surprise feature.  And, congratulations to the lovebirds, Pooja & Dev!  The whole team at Maharani Weddings and I wish you love, laughter, and happily every after!
Sweet dreams Maharanis!

Orange County Indian Wedding by AaronEye Photography

Good Morning Maharanis!  At the end of every month there is a very special and fabulous contest that I always look SO forward to!  I've entered it, I've voted in it, I've even recruited my Maharani friends for it!  That's right, it's the Maharani of the Month contest!  By the way, today is the last day to vote for the September Maharani of the Month, so make sure you vote before 5pm PDT!  Well, the reason I mention this is because I first saw a picture of Maharani Anuradha when she entered the July Maharani of the Month contest.  I loved her photo, her pose, her style... her everything!  So when I received her wedding photos by AaronEye Photography... you can only imagine my excitement!   And with that, I present to you: her Baraat, and the gorgeous bride, Maharani Anuradha!

The bride is beautiful and so is her bridal party! And it's coming right up!

Fabulous Indian Bridal Party by AaronEye Photography

There is only one word to describe this bridal party: FUN!  Actually, it is beyond fun!  Not only is there a mega-watt smile on the face of this Maharani but there is a mega-watt smile on everyone's face! I can't believe the groom and groomsmen actually jumped into the pool! When it's a hot day and I see a pool, I say it all the time: "It's so hot outside, I just wanna jump in right now!"  I never actually do it because I'll mess up my hair or my makeup and ruin my clothes... so I still can't believe these groomsmen did it in their wedding attire!  Once again, good thing AaronEye Photography was there to capture the moment!  I'm giving them all a BIG KUDOS for being spontaneous and fun!  A big props to Maharani Anuradha too... for letting her Maharaja jump into a pool just like that!

Keep that big smile on your faces... the wedding ceremony is next!

Bollywood Vintage Reception by Aaron Photography

This beautiful "Bollywood Vintage" themed reception is the absolute perfect fit for this Maharani!  With a red African daisy in her long hair, she looks absolutely stunning dancing by the lakeside.  Her smile, the flow of her red and purple contrast lengha, her jewelry... this just might be one of my favorite photos ever!  I fell even more in love with this photo, which was captured so perfectly by AaronEye Photography, when I found out the special story behind these action shots.  The photos were taken right before the reception as newly married Maharani Anuradha and her hubby practiced their first dance! Awww!  The Bollywood Vintage style continues on into the decor...which is better shown than described! So take a look!

Congratulations to Anuradha and Jatesh!  Maharani HQ is so star struck by your wedding, we are placing it right where it belongs....in the Maharani Hall of Fame!
Have a red carpet Wednesday Maharanis!

Orange County Hindu Wedding Ceremony by Aaron Eye Photography

I have fallen so hard for this California Wedding Ceremony!  From the moment she takes her first steps down the stairs towards the mandap, to the bubbly way she twirls in her bridal lengha, I can't take my eyes off how beautiful and happy she looks!  The most adorable thing is that her Maharaja carries her out of the mandap and it totally screams happily-ever-after!  Which is clearly the very essence of this summertime fairytale!  Even her guests are just beaming with joy! My cheeks are already hurting from the smile these photos by AaronEye Photography  have been putting on my face today!

From Maharani Anuradha:
My wedding theme for the  ceremony was a dreamy "Summer Fairytale” infused with ivory and champagne gold tones. I designed my own wedding lengha opting for richer fabrics like brocade and velvet to reflect a more classic sophistication. For my hair, makeup, and mehndi I requested Beauty by Lishma for an non-traditional bohemian look of tousled tresses decorated with star jasmines.  My henna had flowing flowers, paisleys, and vines that stayed consistent with the offbeat look. By keeping the work simple on my lengha, I was hoping to showcase the beautiful jewelry pieces such as a heavy kundan necklace, choora, kalire, haath phool, maatha pati. My wedding venue was a picturesque golf course with a lake that gave a nice blue in the background during our ceremony.

I'll be right back with a beautifuly Bollywood reception!
