Houston, TX Indian Wedding by Sumeet & Ishaan

We are thrilled to share the enchanting fairytale of Nidhi & Vimal. When the guests arrived at the stunning AG Outdoor Venue for the ceremony, they were surrounded by a world of romance. Nidhi looked like a princess, with her flawless hair and makeup masterfully done by Ishnae. Her hands were adorned with intricate mehndi designs by the skilled Neelam. The talented team at 3Sixty Events meticulously planned and executed every detail, ensuring the day flowed seamlessly. As Nidhi walked down the aisle, surrounded by the exquisite floral arrangements from Mandap Creations, there wasn't a dry eye in sight. The celebration continued at the ULH Event Center, where the reception was an exuberant mix of tradition and modernity. Guests danced the night away to the beats spun by Desi Junctions DJs, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Royal Coach Classic Limo added a timeless touch to their magical day. Every precious moment was captured beautifully by Sumeet & Ishaan, whose photographs tell the story of Nidhi & Vimal's love in the most captivating way.

Sweeties, Seema & Logan's wedding stole our hearts! Check it out in our Platinum Guide Blog.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met on the dating app Hinge - a question on my profile asked, "can you see yourself living with 2 - 3 bullmastiffs?" He said owning bullmastiffs was a dream of his, and we hit it off from there. I knew he was "the one" when all the mundane tasks in life became more exciting because we constantly laugh together. Whether or not we will actually be able to handle 3 bullmastiffs... is to be determined!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We had just moved across the country from Ohio to Oregon a few months prior to our engagement. Logan's sister was visiting us for the first time in our new home city, and we had planned a nice dinner together. Before going into the restaurant, Logan led me to a scenic trail outside the restaurant, pretending he was seeing it for the first time, and proposed! Our friends were hiding to get photos of us. When we headed into the restaurant, our parents, close family, and friends were all waiting for us for a surprise engagement party he had planned :)

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
First, lots of online research! We also worked with Indian Destination Wedding, who helped us choose our venue and answer questions about logistics. We couldn't have done it without them! I also searched Facebook groups for vendor recommendations in Cancun, which was very helpful! That's how I found my hair and makeup vendor (VO Evolution) and photographer (Pixan Photography).

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I bought my bridal lehenga from Pernia's, who was fantastic to work with if you are unable to make a trip to India. I always imagined my bridal lehenga to be a deep red, so I customized a bridal lehenga from designer Ruchika Hurria to be a deeper red, with a customized blouse.

Having grown up in the US, I felt like I would miss out by not wearing white at my wedding, and I also wanted a lehenga that I could freely dance in. So I worked with my Aunt, who lives in India, to customize a white lehenga for my reception.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
We decided early on to choreograph our first dance after choosing our song (Swing Life Away, by Rise Against). Neither of us had dance experience, and we started dance lessons nearly a year before our wedding. It was such a fun learning and bonding experience, and although stressful at times, it felt great to work on it together.

Darlings, enjoy our mesmerizing blog, which vividly captures the magic of each couple's special day.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?

Our love story started just like many others in this modern era of dating where we both swiped right. Our paths crossed through an online dating app called Hinge, which we were both introduced to by our friends. It only took a few hours for us to find each other and have nonstop conversations. I knew he was the one after our first date, where I called by best friend and told her he is "the one"

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!

Paraj tricked me into thinking we were going to my birthday dinner. He said we "had" to get on a boat in order to get to the restaurant. As you might already know, I'm very gullible and believed everything he told me. During the boat ride, we stopped in front of the Chicago Skyline to capture some pictures. I was facing the skyline thinking Paraj was taking pictures of me. When I turned around, he was kneeled downed on one knee holding the most beautiful ring and asked me to marry him!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

I feel like the luckiest bride because I didn't have to do much planning myself. My husband took charge of organizing our destination wedding, handling most of the details by coordinating with our planners, vendors, and the resort to ensure everything was perfect. It was incredibly helpful to have both of our inputs in deciding what we wanted for our events. Our planners were especially amazing in finding the best vendors, particularly for my hair and makeup. I couldn't have found such an incredible team in Mexico without their help.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

I couldn't have found my bridal lengha without the help of my husband and my in-laws. I knew I didn't want the traditional red; I wanted different colors for our beach wedding. My in-laws were incredibly dedicated, treating me like their own daughter as they helped me search for the perfect lengha. They stood by my side, taking me to numerous stores in India until I found the dress I fell in love with. We all said yes to the dress together, making it a day I will cherish forever.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

Our guests loved our Latin/White party event the night after the wedding. Everyone wore white, and we all danced the night away. This evening was particularly special because my husband surprised us with a party pack. The vendor brought out games and drums, allowing everyone, including us, to join in the fun. It was truly a night to remember, as our guests still fondly recall.

We hope this glimpse into a day filled with beauty and joy inspires your own magical moments.
