Kirkland, WA Indian Wedding by VanWeddings Inc

Good morning, Maharanis! We missed you so much during the weekend, but thankfully it is Monday again, and we are glad to have you back as we were dying to share a new charming wedding celebration with you! Today's magical love story follows the romantic journey through Sowmya & Nimesh's wedding bliss. And all we have to say is that this fabulous celebration is what all Mharanis dream about. So let's not wait any longer and jump right into it. From the colorful and fun-loving Sangeet celebrated at The Westin Bellevue to the magical reception party at The Golf Club at Newcastle, where all guests enjoyed a delicious cake baked by Crème de la Crème, everything was perfect beyond words! But there is no surprise here as Occasions Wedding and Event Planning was the mastermind behind all the planning and execution of this incredible event. And you know that anytime this talented and highly experienced team is present, there is nothing else but perfection delivered, and this time was no exception! Thankfully the good friends from VanWeddings Inc. were there to capture all the beauty and amazingness surrounding this wedding affair as words are not enough to describe how breathtaking everything was. One of our favorite moments of the entire wedding bash was the outdoor ceremony hosted at the Woodmark Hotel and Spa. The surroundings of this wedding venue, combined with the spectacular decor crafted by Aria Style, became the perfect backdrop for Sowmya & Nimesh to tie the knot. And if you thought that the decor and the entire scenery was already beautiful, wait to see the bewitching look of our gorgeous Maharani! She walked down the aisle to meet the love of her life, wearing a gorgeous dual-tone lengha and looking like a beauty vision after being pampered by Salon Maison. The sleek hairstyle and the nude makeup combined with the Mehndi art designed by Rinis Henna praised Sowmya's natural beauty, endowing her with so much elegance and traditional flair that Raja Nimesh couldn't take his eyes off of her, and neither do we! Hands down, this was the dreamy wedding ceremony Sowmya & Nimesh always wanted. And what better way to immortalize it than having the best artists like Impressions Live Art and Catalina Garreton creating a live painting of your special day! If you want to take a closer look at this dazzling wedding celebration, don't miss the full gallery that we have prepared for today. We are sure you are going to love every bit of it, not to mention that you will take tons of inspiring ideas.

Dallas, TX Indian Wedding by Texpertz Photography

Good morning, beauty queens! We are right in the middle of this week, and what better way to start this Wednesday than taking a look at all the beauty surrounding Mehreen & Hussain's real-life fairytale. So, let's not wait any longer and jump right into it! Right from the start, we have to say that today's wedding affair packs tons of beauty, love, and traditional flair, so you can imagine how thrilled we were when we laid our eyes into the magnificent shots captured by Texpertz Photography. From all pre-wedding events, including a colorful Mehndi celebrated at the Crystal Banquet Hall, to the closing gala, everything was perfect! One of the most anticipated moments was the magical wedding ceremony hosted inside the halls of the Courtyard Dallas DFW Airport North/Grapevine. Still, what we loved the most was the enchanting reception party that bring the wedding festivities to an end. The interiors of the reception venue, completely transformed into a mesmerizing backdrop filled with elegance and traditional flair thanks to the marvelous decor put together by none other than the talented team from Events by Faiza. They took our lovebirds' vision of a dream wedding and made it a dream come true. Although the decor was something to die for, it was our gorgeous Maharani Mehreen who stole the show after being pampered by Sarah Aasif Artistry. The exquisite makeup and the classy hairstyle praised this Maharani's natural beauty and complemented to perfection with the artistic Mehndi design by Samira's Henna Designs! Hands down, a fabulous look that exceeded all expectations! Going back to the party, all we have to say is that it was an epic one! And how could it not be if it was entirely animated by DJ RubyRu, who owned the stage and played the hits of the moment that set the dancefloor on fire! All guests danced the night away, and the only time the dancing stopped was to take a bite at the sweet and mouth-melting cake baked by C. Marie's Sweets! If you can't get enough of this lovely couple and want to take a closer look at their fabulous celebration of love, don't miss the jaw-dropping gallery captured that we have prepared for you. Every single shot is an absolute visual delight that you don't want to miss, so go check them all out. We are sure you will love them!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We were introduced through a mutual friend and hit it off instantly during our first brunch date at Saint Ann's in Dallas. Like they say, "When you know, you know!"
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Being a huge macaron lover, I was told to doll up as we were going to a macaron baking class along with a fancy dinner for date night. We reached an abandoned location known as Off the Grid and made our way inside. I was confused, but with each step, I noticed roses and candles and that's when I pieced it all together. Once we reached the roof, his sweet friends surprised us. I was in shock from not only seeing them, but from seeing the beautiful Dallas skyline. I, then turned to Hussain and noticed he was on one knee and well, *cue water works* - you know what happens next!
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We managed to plan and coordinate every single thing with the help of our family and friends. Though it was stress inducing and time consuming, we wanted to relish in the experience of wedding planning. And when it all came together, we were that much happier!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Considering our culture has multiple events, I knew I wanted a different color palette for each one. For the wedding, I kept it traditional, but different. I wanted a three-tone outfit as that's what was said to be "in." My hot pink kameez, blood-red gharara, and maroon dupatta gave me just what I wanted - shoutout to Annus Abrar!
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Coming to an agreement on venues, outfits, the cake, all of it!
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests were blown away! From the decor to the cake to the food to the timely manner of the each event, they were left speechless.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The entirety of it was filled with several special moments, but during our first dance was when it all came together. As I was swaying with my husband, I was glancing around and thought "this is it!"
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Take it easy! Make a list and strike out one item at a time. It always come together in the end!!!

Have an awesome rest of the day, ladies! And don't forget to join us tomorrow for a new inspiring story, we are more than ready to amaze you!

Wilmington, DE Indian Fusion Wedding by Maria DeForrest Photography

Happy Monday, darlings! We missed you so much during the weekend, and we were dying to share a lovely new story with you. And what better way to start this new week than taking a look at a charming fusion wedding. If you've been following us for quite a while, you already know that Indian fusion weddings have something special that makes our heart melt with tenderness and joy; and Krupa & Matthew's big wedding affair is no exception! So get ready to have a good time because today's featured wedding packs all the things we love, and so much more! We're starting this journey by joining this sweet and lovely couple at the Chase Center on the Riverfront, the venue of choice to host all wedding activities. To make her dream wedding come to life, our beautiful Maharani Krupa planned every detail of this long-awaited day, and the result was amazingly beyond her expectations! The perfect planning, combined with the heavenly decor in soft-colored hues designed by Nirali Decor, created a soothing environment for Krupa & Matthew to tie the knot in the company of their family and closest friends. Our lovebirds looked ravishing together in their matching attire. Still, it was our beautiful Maharani who stole the show! She said "I do" looking like a princess, dressed in a fashionable, yet traditional lengha designed by AsoPalav after being fully glamorized by Payal Patel. And we cannot stress how much we love every bit of her elegant and glamorous look. It is both bewitching and inspiring! After the wedding ceremony, it was time to celebrate this life milestone with a spectacular reception party. All guests danced the night away to the beats of Volcanik Entertainment and tasted the delicious culinary experience prepared by Moghul. And let's not forget about the sweet treats from Federal Donuts, who designed a 5-story donut cake. Simply amazing! Hands down, this was the dream wedding Krupa & Matthew always wanted, and this could not have been possible without DiSalvo Events, who coordinated every segment of the big day down to the smallest detail. So big kudos to them! For more amazing shots of this enchanting wedding celebration, don't miss the awesome photos captured by Maria DeForrest Photography. We've compiled them all in today's full gallery, so make sure to check it out! It will take your breath away!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Matt and I met out in Philadelphia one night 9+ years ago! We were both out with friends and happened to hit it off. Right after we met, he moved to Washington D.C. and we were long distance for 6 years. We both knew early on that this was something special and worth making the 3 hour drive to see each other every weekend.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We had rented a beach house in Cape May with a large group of friends. I had a feeling it may be coming that weekend but the whole weekend went by and  no proposal! I was ready to go home on Sunday afternoon when he wanted to take a walk before we left. As we walked along Congress Hall, noticed one of his friends hiding around the corner and suddenly I realized Matt's hand was shaking in my own. I knew this was the moment, and realized i was holding a PLASTIC WATER BOTTLE! I proceeded to throw it to the side (don't worry I picked it up afterwards) and braced myself for the moment. He got down on one knee and asked the question 7 years in the making.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
The whole process kind of came together rather quickly. The venue was the first on the list, trying to find a place that would fit our 300 guests for multiple days and not break the bank. The Chase Center on the Riverfront was actually not far from where I work, which is why it made the list of places to check out. Once we visited we were sold not only on the hospitality of the event coordinators but the blank canvas it presented us. All of our vendors were phenomenal to work with and were familiar with the venue. This ended up being a huge plus for us, when all the vendors have been to the venue before and know how best to set up your events.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I really wanted a white lengha and I went to India with that thought in mind. I made the journey to Asopalav, like so many brides before me about 5 hours after I landed that morning. While sharing my version with the associate in the store, letting them know I was looking for an all white lengha. You could hear my mom in the background saying "why not one with a red dupatta or a little red in the outfit?". I figured this may be a future battle I would have to fight but when I tried on the first outfit (the one I ended up picking) I knew it was the one. Of course this is India, I did not travel 21+ hours to buy the first outfit I tried on. We persuaded them to hold it for us until the end of the day and went to try on outfits elsewhere. By the end of the day even my mom agreed it was perfect.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
My favorite part was the outfits! It was especially fun buying outfits for my husbands family.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I think the biggest hit of the wedding was the venue! The Chase Center was so large and accommodating that it allowed us to have each event in a different room and not have our guests feel cramped or lacking in space. The hotel attached was an added bonus for a November wedding. It allowed guests to move between locations without having to venture outside.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Its funny but for me it was the Baraat (and I wasn't even there)! I loved seeing all the pictures from procession and and Matt was so surprised when the mascot came out. My family also did a great job showing his friends and family how to have a great time at the Baraat!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
The Sangeet was probably my favorite event overall. We wanted to have a fun welcome party vibe during the traditional event, no stage just high tops and plenty of food and drinks for the guests. It was so amazing to see the families interacting so freely. From learning how to garba or play raas to his family surprising everyone with a performance. It really set the stage for the rest of the weekend.

One of my other favorite things I did was plan mini meals for the immediate family. Before the sangeet we had private room where we could sample all of the dishes of the night. This was a great opportunity not only for us but our siblings and parents to relax and more importantly eat! We could spend the rest of the night mingling and enjoying the event.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Its hard to say dont stress. You will stress, especially if you go the traditional wedding route (there are too many people and events not too). But know that at the end of the day everyone is there for you and your husband. Try to sneak moments for the two of you to just take it all in.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
We actually had a donut cake from a Philly favorite donut spot. It was such a hit! They arranged it on tiered platform to look like a cake and even had a donut tasting for us beforehand. We actually only had a couple of donuts left that night.

All of our personal flowers were done at a local grocery store (Wegmans). It was a great way for us to save some money and we were able to order bulk flowers from them and Costco for the various events.

What a great way to start the week, isn't it ladies? Don't forget to join us tomorrow for a new story!

Columbus, OH Indian Fusion Wedding by Style & Story Creative

Good morning, Maharanis! We are so excited to bring you an insight into the sweet and charming wedding celebration between Anita & Bryan. Today's fusion wedding incorporates tons of beauty and lots of inspiring ideas that will brighten up your day and melt your heart with tenderness and joy, so let's not wait any longer, and let's check it out together! If you've been following us for quite a while, you already know that there is something extraordinary about Indian fusion weddings that we love so much, so you can imagine how happy we were when this wedding came into our hands. As soon as we took a glance at Anita & Bryan's big wedding bash, we knew this was one story that we wanted to share with you. The Hilton Columbus at Easton nested the beginning of this everlasting love story, transforming its halls into a cornucopia of elegance and traditional flair, thanks to the minimalist, yet striking decor crafted by Prema Designs. The floral arrangements and soft-colored linens wrapped around the room set the mood for the solemn wedding ceremony that united these two lovebirds in marriage. It was such a gorgeous combination of tradition and modern flair that all guests adored! And talking about flair, we cannot forget to mention the fantastic look of our lovely Anita! She burst into the room wearing a gorgeous red lengha and looking like royalty after been pampered by Cleveland Makeup Artist. After the ceremony concluded, it was time to celebrate the newlyweds with a luxurious reception party enlivened by Masala Entertainment, who put everyone to dance. The only time the dancing stopped was to enjoy the mouth melting cake baked by Le Gateau. After having a nite of the sweet dessert, Young Hearts owned the stage and entertained everyone with their live performance! Hands down, this was Anita & Bryan's dream wedding celebration, so big kudos to Joie de Vivre Events, for taking our lovebirds' vision and making it a reality as this is a talent available just to a handful of experienced planners! If you can't get enough of this lovely couple, don't miss the fabulous gallery we have prepared for today thanks to Style & Story Creative! You'll love it so much!
