New York City, NY Indian Fusion Wedding by Ivash Studio

Welcome back, Maharanis! We are glad you could join us at Shaivi & Oscar's wedding ceremonies. You heard right! These lucky guys didn't have just one ceremony, they had two wedding ceremonies that marked the start of a lifetime of marriage! So let's jump right into it and let's head into the first ceremony! This was an intimate Catholic ceremony that we are loving! Our gorgeous Shaivi looked ravishing on her white dress designed by Pronovias and we are sure that more than one guest dropped a tier of joy while seeing her walking down the aisle. Certainly, this was a lovely wedding ceremony that everyone enjoyed and that marked the first step into an everlasting love story. For the second wedding ceremony, both our lovebirds embraced a traditional and elegant style that we are loving! Shaivi stole all the looks on her ruby lengha that was designed by Sabyasachi Official, while Oscar was rocking a Sherwani Suit that made his inner Raja come out! And we are loving the final look on them! We want to make a special shoutout to Style by Susmita for the incredible makeup and hairstyles created for both the ceremonies and also we want to recognize the amazing work of Ovando, as the beautiful and impressive floral wall created the perfect background for this lovely couple to tie the knot. If you want to check more details about this incredible ceremonies, don't forget to take a look at the gallery that we have prepared for today. You will love it!

Welcome back, ladies! We hope you are ready to dance and to have some fun because Bharvi & Mithil's wedding reception will cheer you up and will make you want to dance. This vibrant and joyful celebration that was held at one of the ballrooms of the exclusive Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center, was the perfect closing for the wedding events, as our lovebirds were able to celebrate their recent union surrounded by their loved ones at the same time that they were having fun! All the guests had a night to remember, thanks to the talented and versatile DJ from XtraHotDjs Entertainment & Event Design who played the perfect melodies to set the musical mood for this reception party, making everyone dance the night out. The laughs, the dances, and the good vibes did not stop throughout the whole evening and Bharvi & Mithil had the perfect reception they always wanted! We want to make a special shoutout to Cassie Valente Photography for the incredible shots that were taken during this event! Through each of these shots, we can relieve this magical moment just as if we were there, and by just taking a look at them, we can tell that this is going to be an everlasting love story. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
In 2010, Mithil and I unknowingly resided in Georgia Tech freshman dorms just 3 minutes away from each other. It wasn’t until Spring 2011 when i met Mithil while I was studying with his roommate. For the next year, we continued to enjoy each other’s company and slowly it turned into something more than friendship. I knew he was "the one" when I wanted to study more and more with his roommate just so I can spend some time with Mithil during our breaks ;)

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
After dating for over 5 years, Mithil decided it was time to escalate things. He convinced me and few other friends to head down to Destin, Florida for some beach time fun. Little did I know, there’d be dozen other friends in Florida waiting to surprise me. Given Mithil's past puzzle hunt adventures, I didn't suspect anything out of the ordinary when he organized a puzzle hunt which comprised of various puzzles we solved along our journey to Florida. Each successful answer led us closer to the treasure chest which contained the biggest treasure of all, the key to my heart (in this case, it was shaped like a ring).

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We did not hire a wedding planner as I (the bride) was pretty familiar with the wedding planning process since my brother got married a year ago in Atlanta as well. We also benefited from having a long engagement (1.5 years) and thus we didn’t feel rushed in the planning process and had the time to research the vendor options. we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding and given the guest count of over 300 people, our options with outdoor event space were limited in the metro Atlanta area. We visited the Hilton Marietta Hotel and fell in love with the outdoor veranda which overlooked the golf course and the rolling hills. We knew this was the location for us! Unfortunately, it rained during the wedding day so we used the ballroom for the ceremony. For Garba, we had a hand painted tree/branch backdrop with parrots. In front of the backdrop we had a rickshaw which was so much fun for everyone to take pictures with. We both love the outdoors and wanted our wedding to have a rustic outdoor feel to it. The decorator did a phenomenal job with mixing those two elements and gave us a gorgeous mandap full of greens, blush pink florals and white florals hanging from the mandap ceiling. The aisle pieces were rustic lanterns with various shades of pink florals hanging out.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew from the start that I wanted to wear pink on my wedding day - pink has always been my color and its very flattering on me. I decided to wear a hot pink bridal lengha by Aneesh Agarwal. For my reception outfit, I wore an ivory lengha by Sajda by Suman

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Our favorite part of planning was the overall theme/design. We were in love with outdoor and rustic theme; there's just something about nature that makes it so beautiful. Coming up with the details of every aspect of the day and seeing it come to fruition was awesome! Food tasting was another very fun aspect - who doesn't enjoy an excuse to eat 5 servings of cake without feeling guilty?!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
In general our guests still remind us to this day how fun the entire wedding weekend was from start to finish. Guests especially loved the rustic theme for the wedding and a very personable reception where they heard very personal and heartfelt speeches from family members and bridal party. Based on this feedback we received from hundreds of guests, we highly advise couples planning their wedding that perfection isn’t possible but fun and memorable definitely is.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
During my mendhi night, Mithil surprised me with a beautiful and grand gesture of a surprise 10-minute fireworks show. I was completely surprised and couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the wedding weekend. The moments only became more and more special event after event. Thanks to our excellent photographers and videographer, we will get to relive those special moments every anniversary!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
To complement the rustic theme from the ceremony, the reception centerpieces were a mix of 30 inch tall centerpieces that looked like floating bouquets and these geometric terrariums with white and blush roses and hydrangeas surrounded with lots of greens. Our first song was Stand By Me by Ben E King. As a surprise, Mithil and his mom joined my father and I halfway through the father-daughter dance turning it into a father-daughter and mother-son medley. There were other surprised during the dance performances as well. I joined my bridesmaids towards the finale song and surprised Mithil. But the real surprise was when Mithil joined his groomsmen during their finale song. This was truly a surprise since Mithil is not the biggest fan of dancing.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Create a dedicated wedding email account to help you stay organized. Take your time with the planning and try to not get stressed. Take advice from everyone but don’t let people influence the final decisions to the point where it is not something that you want. Relax and plan a fun day for you, your significant other, and your guests. Perfection isn’t possible but fun and memorable is.

We have more surprises waiting for you, so don't forget to check them out!

Cambridge, MD Indian Wedding by Akbar Sayed Photography

Hey there, ladies! It is good to see that you could join us at Krupa & Ginal's wedding reception. So let's head into the ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort Spa And Marina to enjoy this reception party! The first thing we noticed when getting inside the ballroom, is the impressive and almost surreal atmosphere that surrounded this celebration! One more time, Nirali Decor managed to surprise us with a breathtaking decoration: The dim lights, the candles, the perfect placing of the ornaments and the multi-colored floral arrangements that were gently placed on the guests' tables, all a perfect combination that resulted in a beautiful and unique reception party, like one we have not seen in quite a long time! And no party is complete, if you don't have the perfect music to liven it up, so we want to make a big shoutout to MVP DJ, for setting the musical mood for this once in a lifetime event! Krupa & Ginal had the time of their life and all the guests enjoyed this event and had a lot of fun while dancing and chatting! And it is thanks to the remarkable talent of Akbar Sayed Photography that we get to take a look into this reception party, making us feel just like if we were there. If you haven't got enough of this event, or if you simply want to take more notes on the details that took this whole wedding celebration to the next level, don't miss the gallery that we have prepared for today!

Chicago, IL Indian Fusion Wedding by Spoon Photo & Design

Good Morning, Maharanis! It is great to be back with a new love story for you! Today, we will join our two love birds Shubha & Dan in their nuptial celebration, and we are really excited because this time there is not one but two wedding ceremonies that marked the start of a lifetime love story for this sweet young couple. Lucky guys! And, if you are like us and enjoy reliving every moment of every special event by taking a look at the photos of it, there is no denial that you would greatly appreciate the fact that Shubha & Dan decided to bring Spoon Photo & Design on board to perpetuate every single moment of this once in a lifetime event. We are starting this love story by taking a look at the first wedding ceremony that was held at the church of the Sisters of St. Joseph. This was a solemn and intimate ceremony, and we are sure that more than one of the guests dropped a tear of joy while seeing our beautiful Shubha walking down the aisle on her beautiful white dress and holding the most perfect selection of flowers that Phillip’s Floral combined to create a bouquet of wondrous beauty and sweetness! However, this dreamy look could not have been possible without the remarkable talent of Kate Johnson Artistry. The nude colors selected for the makeup combined with the refined and classy hairstyle praised the natural beauty of our lovely Maharani and makes it almost impossible to describe such a mesmerizing scene. If you want to check more about this wedding ceremony, head into today's gallery! You are going to be blown away by the amazing photos that showcase the highlights of this once in a lifetime event!

Playa Herradura, CR Indian Fusion Wedding by Chloe Murdoch Photography

Hello, darlings! We hope that you are enjoying this journey as much as we are. It is time to unveil the elegant and vibrant wedding reception of Rachel & Manu. But, just before we head into the ballroom of Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort, let's join our lovebirds on a romantic outdoor photo shoot on the beach. Having mesmerizing landscapes with the beach and the sunset in the background, it was almost inevitable to have an outdoor photo shoot, and thanks to the perfect planning of Destination Desi Rachel & Manu had the time to capture this magical scene right before heading to the reception party. Simply breathtaking! Once the photo shoot was over, this sweet couple head into the celebration, to have the time of their lives! All the way from the get-go, this wedding reception was marked by the dances, the laughs, and the fun and vibrant activities that took place during the whole evening. Definitely, this couldn't have been possible without the talent of DJ Skillz who set the musical mood for this party. At some point during the evening, he even let Rachel & Manu take control over the DJ equipment so they could feel like if they were at their own private concert! The great atmosphere did not stop throughout the whole evening and it is thanks to the beautifully shot taken by to Chloe Murdoch Photography that we get to relieve every single moment of this event. It is time for this trip to Costa Rica to get to an end, but you can always be transported back to that magical place by taking a look at the gallery that we have prepared for you. Do not miss it!
