Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Indian Wedding by MP Singh Photography

We’ve finally reached Shallu and Hobie’s jubilant reception gala in sunny Mexico! We’re swooning over the breezy balcony setup at the Iberostar Puerto Vallarta by the decor aficionado Rebeca Magana. We so wish we’d gotten an invite to this lux beach gala! And we’re obsessing over the table seating motif that was laid out overlooking the sparkling sea. Once again, Shallu and Hobie were showstoppers, with Shallu adorned in a lovely dove grey gown daintily covered in coral floral appliques. Guests chowed down on tropical bites and creamy desserts as a majestic sunset drenched the evening. While planning an international getaway wedding can be daunting, Absolute Wedding Site and Iberostar Puerto Vallarta helped the couple every step of the way to execute this sensational bash. As darkness fell, infectious Bollywood and Top 40 beats pulsed through the air and guests set the dance floor on fire! This grand finale event was filled with razzle dazzle that was the perfect symbol of Shallu and Hobie’s beautiful love story. Hurry over to the full gallery by MP Singh Photography to catch all the loving moments between this gorg duo at their tropical paradise wedding!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Indian Wedding by MP Singh Photography

Welcome back lovelies! We’re thrilled to be covering Shallu and Hobie’s chic, beachside Indian wedding. The dashing couple met on the warm sands for their darling first look. Hobie gasped in delight as he caught sight of his hot pink goddess. Their first look ended with the lovebirds in a warm embrace, and they were raring to get the ceremony started! This couple is truly stunning, and we are sure that their matrimonial soiree will stand the test of time! As Shallu and Hobie made their grand entrances, guests were blown away by the love and devotion in the couple’s eyes. They made their way to a regal, jewel toned mandap set against the sparkling sea, and the talented photographers from MP Singh Photography captured every last moment as Shallu went from Miss to Mrs. The natural backdrop of the ocean was the perfect contrast to the over the top glamour of the couple’s ensembles and their luxuriously adorned mandap by Rebeca Magana. This wedding extravaganza was planned and designed with elevated sophistication in mind by Absolute Wedding Site, with events taking place at the Iberostar Puerto Vallarta. MP Singh Photography captured a gorgeous series of events, so swim over to the full gallery for all the sunshiny goodness!

Philadelphia, PA Indian Wedding by Ron Soliman Photojournalism

These sweet lovebirds have been together for over 13 years, and they definitely had a wedding weekend worthy of their epic love tale! When Iva and Rahul planned their big bash, every detail was discussed in detail. With the help of Sachi Sood - Partyland Sajawat, they were able to pull off a dazzling event filled with style and romance. After their majestic ceremony at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, their reception took place at the chic Vie Philadelphia. Sohal Grewal - Blue Rose Artistry and Mehndi by Anuja made sure the bride looked like a star for her big day and Iva was absolutely divine in a baby pink gown with shimmering adornments. Meanwhile, Sachi Sood - Partyland Sajawat worked their decor magic and transformed the ballroom into a romantic oasis filled with bursting foliage, sparkling candlelight, and mesmerizing uplighting. Guests were treated to the ultimate in Indian cuisine with delectable eats from Chand Palace and Moghul Catering. Raj Minocha elevated the room with the euphoric sounds of the latest hits and guests danced the night away. Rahul surprised his bride by dedicating “God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You” by NSYNC to close the night in an ultra romantic way. So sweet! Head into the full gallery where Ron Soliman Photojournalism has forever memorized Iva and Rahul’s big day. We hope to bring you all the live footage by Bliss Wedding Films - Nayeem Modan soon! Description of the Day from the Bride:

Our wedding day was a dream come true! Rahul and I met in high school and spent 13 years together before tying the knot. It’s safe to say that I had planned my wedding in my head for a LONG time, no need for a wedding planner here!

Our wedding weekend started with the Mehendi which was held at Positano Coast restaurant in Philadelphia. The setting was absolutely perfect! The gorgeous blue, yellow, and white decor was exactly what I had envisioned for an "Amalfi Coast" feel. The next morning was our favorite event of all, the Haldi! It was intimate with just a few of our closest friends and family. We went a bit untraditional and sat side by side while our friends and family covered us in turmeric...of course we spread it all over each other as well! We had a traditional dholki with music and dance, and even a little garba!

On Friday evening we held our combined Sangeet and Garba in the gorgeous Liberty Ballroom at the Marriott. We had dance performances from close friends and family. One of the sweetest moments was when Rahul surprised me by dancing to "Badri Ki Dulhaniya." What was so adorable was that Rahul actually spend countless hours changing the lyrics in the music to say "Rahul Ki Dulhaniya!" I was floored!! After performances we had a traditional Jaago as well as Garba. It was truly a nice of song and dance!

The wedding day was by far my favorite. My vision for our wedding was glamour and the color PINK, lots and lots of PINK! I created the wedding programs myself as well as the bridesmaids bouquets! The ceremony decor by Sachi Sood of Partyland was absolutely breathtaking! Sachi and I spent hours going back and forth on my idea of the perfect mandap, and what she came up with that morning was nothing short of perfection! Rahul and I were clad in shades of pink and peach, as was our bridal party. I chose contrasting green kundan jewelry and fresh jasmine garlands for my hair. Rahul's peach embroidered sherwani was elegant and understated. My goal was to mimic the "Sabyasachi" look, but on a major budget! We took pre-wedding pictures at City Hall which provided the most breathtaking backdrop. Our bridal party and close family joined us as well!  I walked down the aisle to the iconic "Chal Le Chal" by the Wedding Filmer. All I can say is that Rahul and I were all smiles through the absolutely perfect ceremony, a pink lovers dream come true! After a tearful bidai, Rahul and I returned to our (still separate!) suites to get ready for the reception.

We had another "first look" at the gorgeous Philadelphia Museum of Art. When I saw Rahul for the first time in that quintessential custom fitted navy tuxedo from Indochino, he took my breath away! We had an absolutely stunning reception at the Vie with ample food, music, dance, and lots of alcohol! We chose signature drinks that represented us and even came up with clever names! My absolutely perfect day was made even more perfect when Rahul surprised me by dedicating "God Must Have Spent" by *Nsync to me as our last song. With our friends and family circled around us, Rahul simply brought me to tears! We exited the venue in style with a sparkler send off and recommenced at the afterparty!

Have a wonderful evening Maharanis!

Philadelphia, PA Indian Wedding by Ron Soliman Photojournalism

Welcome back to Maharani Iva and her Raja Rahul’s wedding celebration, where the love between this gorgeous duo shined ever so brightly. We had to stop and catch our breath after viewing these pristine wedding shots by Ron Soliman Photojournalism. Sachi Sood - Partyland Sajawat was the premier decorator of this event at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. An open air, circular mandap sprinkled with silky drapings and mounds of fragrant blooms was the stunning centerpiece of the proceedings, and the spacious venue was filled with pink, pink, and more pink! We’re swooning over the ultra feminine and romantic ambiance dreamed up by Sachi Sood - Partyland Sajawat and Iva. Rahul was dapper as ever in a shiny gold sherwani that sparkled against the twinkling sun. But nothing sparkled more than Iva. She was an utter bombshell in her hot pink lehenga, swirling henna by Mehndi by Anuja, and elaborate jewels. She was surrounded by her elated bridesmaids (who were dressed in pink of course!) who carried colorful parasols. We adore this cute prop idea! Soon, Iva floated down the aisle to meet her handsome beau. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as they took their sacred vows. We are excited to showcase the cinematic version of this event captured by Bliss Wedding Films - Nayeem Modan soon. In the meantime, head into the full gallery that was lovingly captured by Ron Soliman Photojournalism. Next up: the reception with decadent catering by Chand Palace and Moghul Catering!
