The bride, on what she enjoyed most about planning the wedding of her dreams:

"I enjoyed pinning pictures of decor, lenghas, flowers, etc. to my Pinterest boards and browsing wedding blogs. I spent almost 2 years planning for this wedding, and Maharani Weddings provided me with so much inspiration when I was a bride to be. I think almost all of my vendors came right out of the Platinum Vendor List!"

Have a fabulous rest of the day, Maharanis!

From the bride, on the reception fashion:

"I chose my reception lengha in India when shopping in Bangalore with my cousins, aunt and mom. We looked at a bunch of stores and nothing was jumping out at me. I originally was thinking something with some soft pinks, golds, and creams. I wanted to say away from hot pink since much of my other outfits had that color! I was getting worried I would find what I wanted. I really wanted a lot of bling and kundun work, since my morning wedding outfits were much more traditional. At the very last store we went to before going home, we found THE ONE. It was on a manican in the bridal floor of the store. It was draped so beautifully and looked just exquisite. The lengha is coral/pink with gold and cream and lots of work - exactly what I wanted! The coral was a different color than the original 'soft pink' I had wanted, but was so different and beautiful i just knew it was the perfect offset. It was really fun shopping with my family in India to pick out this gorgeous outfit."

On the first dance:

"Ever since we met, we loved the song 'Cinema,' by Benny Benassi. Rohan always sings to me that I am his Cinema. It was too fast of a song for our first dance, so we found an acoustic version on Youtube to play as our first dance."

See ya next time, gals!

Chicago, IL Indian Wedding by Wedding Day Cinema

Get enchanted with the memorable moments from this Indian wedding event at Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Chicago, as this film takes you through pre-wedding to I do's. Featuring floral and decor by Yanni Design Studio, this Sabrina Hans Events planned affair is not to be missed. There are plenty of enjoyable moments to celebrate to when you have Opening Minds Entertainment on your side to help you get your party started! At 4:26 we get to watch as the uber adorable Maharani gets ready for her wedding ceremony with the help of hair and makeup artist, Hiral Vyas. Wedding Day Cinema has brilliantly cut between these moments and shots of the groom as he sings his very own, personalized cover of the song "Marry Me", by Train, in Hindi — which he had written to propose to his bride. Swoon, right? Maharani Tina's choice of the red, coral and gold bridal lengha is simply perfect as she twirls for her groom during their first look. See this and much more below!

The bride, on how she met the Raja of her dreams:

"Gaurav and I met through a mutual friend who thought we would be perfect for each other. Gaurav was in Cleveland, Ohio, and I was in Chicago, IL. Despite the distance, we both knew very quickly that this was it!"

On the super romantic proposal:

"Gaurav knows how much of a sucker I am for romantic Hindi songs. He decided to propose to me in my condo in Chicago, after I woke up from a post-call nap by writing a song for me that combined Train's "Marry me" with his own Hindi lyrics! It was so incredibly sweet! It's the same song that is featured in the 2nd half of our wedding video (the song he is singing)."

On her wedding style:

"When it came to the style, I wanted something super soft and romantic and almost whimsical, with lots of candles and flowers. I didn't know exactly what colors I wanted, but it all came together perfectly. I absolutely LOVED what Yanni Design studio did with my mandap! It was the perfect amount of candlelight, draped with pearls and crystals, stunning chandeliers, and gorgeous flowers. I LOVED IT."

On choosing her wedding lengha(s):

"I did spend a lot of time doing research. We don't have much family in India, so I felt too overwhelmed with the idea of going there to shop. Instead, I stuck with Chicago Indian stores, and actually found all of my outfits in ONE day. Needless to say, I'm decisive when I need to be. My wedding outfit was exactly what I always dreamt of. Red blouse, with a coral/orange lengha worn sari style with a net type of dupatta on my head. I loved the big border on the bottom and that the skinny border on my dupatta on my head matched one of the borders of the lengha. I also loved my multicolored sangeet lengha, and my sparkly blue reception lengha (was not included in this video bc this was a same day edit that was played at the reception!)"

On her most memorable wedding day moment:

"I remember standing at the top of the mandap after the jai mala, staring out at the people that were there, in awe that every single person I care about was in that room. It was surreal."

On her hair and makeup:

"I worked with my makeup artist. She helped with my hair and makeup during my brother's wedding a few years ago, so I knew she would do an excellent job. She helped me make it so that I had a different and fresh look for both my hair and makeup for each event which was important to me since the events were back to back over 4 days."

On the role that family and friends played:

"My mother was my right hand, she deserves ALL the credit. She put so much time, thought and energy into making sure all the details were perfect, especially all the pre-wedding festivities."
