Aberdeen, NJ Indian Wedding by Jashim Jalal Studios

Sonam and Divesh’s candy coated Indian wedding soiree is the perfect pick-me-up for this Wednesday morning! Every bride has visions of the perfect series of wedding events, and for Sonam, she decided to kick things off with her rainbow bright Sangeet. This Maharani enlisted the help of the decor visionaries from House of Dipali, and they created a fantasy ambiance, filled with sparkling crystal garlands, jewel toned umbrellas, and vibrant draping. With such uplifting surroundings, it’s no wonder the couple and their guests were tearing up the dance floor all night long. We can’t wait to relive all the stellar dance moves when we get ahold of the live footage captured by Unique Visions Studio. Channeling her inner princess, Sonam looked breathtaking in a burgundy, green, and coral lehenga infused with unique style elements. We’re loving the dreamy blend of colors that stood out so strikingly as she twirled on the dance floor. To add to Sonam’s glow, Makeup by Anita created a bombshell beauty look consisting of luscious lashes and bold lips. From beginning to end, this elaborate kick off event was bursting with pizzazz. With an opening night this fun, you know there’s plenty of excitement soon to come! We’ll cover all the ceremony action up next, and will bring you even more spectacular decor and design details. In the meantime, head into the full gallery for more glitz and glam photographed by Jashim Jalal Studios. Also, make sure to scroll below for our exclusive interview with Maharani Sonam!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?

I met Divesh on Match.com. It took us a while to meet since he was from MD and I was from NJ.

I didn't have a specific moment when I knew he was the one. I loved how caring and sensitive/genuine he was. He also has a sarcastic sense of humour.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!

Divesh proposed at Rio in Maryland (where we met for the first time). He knows I love everything cheesy, so he had a red carpet with personalized balloons, flowers/rose petals, and I love red velvet cake, so he had "will you marry me" written out on red velvet cupcakes. He had both the families meet us for dinner after he proposed.

I am a mushy, romantic while he is just the opposite. So it was sweet how he went all out.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

I put a lot of time in certain vendors, I think I spent maximum time picking a photographer. I wanted to have great wedding pictures. I also must have had 9 make up trials before finalizing one. The venue I was in love with, since I had attended a wedding there so it wasn't a hard pick.

I had envisioned a pastel pink and white decor for my wedding and that's exactly how my wedding looked like. I like glam with sophistication and I think everything went as planned. I wanted small details to stand out, so I got a personalized wedding box where the guests put their envelopes, etc.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

I always knew I wanted to wear a hot pink wedding lehenga, and that's what I ended up wearing. I went to India for shopping and it was the first lehenga I had seen and I fell in love with it. It was a bright fuschia and I wanted to wear contrasting jewelry so I went for green kundan/emerald jewelry. This lehenga was not too heavy in weight and I am glad!

The dress I wore for my reception at night was a dream come true in the way it looked, but it weighed around 18 lbs so it was impossible to move/dance in it. So I wore it for two hours and then changed into a lighter dress.

I changed 4 times on my wedding day! But, it was all worth it!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

Food (We are Punjabis and food was the most important thing), music, venue and all the small details that went into the wedding.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

My husband did a surprise dance at the sangeet for just 2 mins, but I always laugh when I think of that!

The moment I walked to the mandap with my dad was very special! My dad's speech brought me tears!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.

We had 5 events prior to the wedding day, each day was a different theme and different outfits. I don't think I could go into the details of each event, but the Mehendi at my house was my favorite pre wedding event. I am a big fan of colors and I made sure we had my parent's house all done up nicely, I got my Henna done that day as well, we had a live singer/DJ.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

PLEASE TRY TO NOT STRESS ON YOUR WEDDING DAY! I put too much stress on my mind that I wasn't able to enjoy wedding events to the fullest.

All the ceremony deets coming right up!

Orlando, FL Fusion Indian Wedding by Sona Photography

Wow! We’re awestruck by the beauty of Pam and Ateet’s grand finale event, although it’s no surprise that the reception would be anything less than perfection. Back at the Hilton Orlando, the creative team from Occasions by Shangri-la was busy transforming the spacious ballroom with many florals, crystals, candles, and chandeliers. The space was a decadent oasis of romance and luxury, with large, towering blooms of white and pink florals taking center stage on the satin-covered table tops covered with the romantic glow of hundreds of twinkling candles. The couple’s sweetheart stage was pure opulence as well, festooned with a fragrant floral wall and royal chaise. Meanwhile, Michele Renee Studio was busy transforming Maharani Pam into a modern-day princess. An elegant updo, striking makeup, and a glittering champagne gown completed this bride’s fab look! Ateet also looked dapper as could be in a fitted suit, and the newlyweds couldn’t wait to make their grand entrance to the reception party! The couple dazzled during their first dance, and guests swooned over the couple’s beauty. Soon after guests were filled to the brim with delicious dinner and cake, the dance floor exploded into an epic party where everyone grooved all night long. Thanks to DJ Pram and Rang Entertainment, this wedding was filled with lively beats and nonstop dancing, making both ceremonies truly memorable. All the vibrant wedding events were planned to perfection by Eventrics Weddings and were captured by Sona Photography, with tons of pictures to look through in the full gallery.

Orlando, FL Fusion Indian Wedding by Sona Photography

Welcome back, everyone! We’re in Orlando, FL, reliving Pam and Ateet’s glorious fusion wedding bash at the beautiful Hilton Orlando, and we must say, it was bursting with style and charm. For the couple’s Western ceremony, Occasions by Shangri-la adorned the indoor space in breezy white and gold hues, bringing a whole new aesthetic to the venue. The draping and florals on the stage area were transformed from bold reds from the Indian ceremony to soft white and gold accents, which added to the romantic ambiance of the ceremony. We adored the sweet archway studded with white blooms where the couple recited their vows. Pam dazzled in an angelic white gown with a sweetheart neckline and an ethereal veil. Michele Renee Studio gussied up our Maharani with soft waves and neutral makeup to make her natural beauty shine. Eventrics Weddings coordinated the beautiful weekend perfectly, and we love the blend of the couple’s cultures and traditions over the celebrations. DJ Pram and Rang Entertainment brought nonstop energy to Pam and Ateet's celebration, creating an unforgettable atmosphere and keeping the dance floor buzzing all night. Sona Photography captured all the joy of this once-in-a-lifetime event, and you can check out all the photos in the beautiful full gallery!

Orlando, FL Fusion Indian Wedding by Sona Photography

We are so excited to share this fabulous Indian fusion wedding out of Orlando with you! It was filled to the brim with incredible colors, jewelry, decor, and of course, a darling couple. The venue of choice for Pam and Ateet was the beautiful Hilton Orlando. Adding to the glitz and glam were the floral and decor team from Occasions by Shangri-la who blinged the ceremony space out in royal hues of red and gold. Before we dive into more details from the weekend, we want to spill the beans on Maharani Pam’s gorgeous Indian bridal look. She channeled her inner Priyanka Chopra and was adorned in a ravishing red lehenga accessorized with oodles of sparkling jewels. Her hair and makeup were pristinely created by the artists at Michele Renee Studio, and she was a breathtaking beauty as she met her handsome beau Ateet for their first look. We are swooning over her picture perfect bridal look consisting of bold eyes and coral red lips, making this bride’s stunning blue eyes shine like a diamond. Both the Indian and Christian wedding ceremonies took place at the Hilton Orlando, and we are impressed by how smoothly the events flowed. We have to give props to the planning and design aficionados from Eventrics Weddings for blending together such a perfect series of events. DJ Pram and Rang Entertainment brought an incredible vibe to Pam and Ateet's wedding, ensuring the dance floor was always full and the celebration was unforgettable. All the images from this weekend can be found in the full gallery, captured beautifully by Sona Photography. When we return, we’ll dive right into the couple’s Western ceremony!

Santa Susana, CA Indian Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

Welcome back to Chandni and Rushabh’s royal reception celebration. We love a good outdoor reception, and with the amazing juxtaposition of rustic ambiance combined with luxurious decor, this celebration couldn’t have been any more incredible! The couple were dressed to the nines for their final hurrah at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch. The bride was once again beautified by Dolled up by Lulu who created a party ready bridal look with smokey eyes, pink lips, and glam waves. Chandni exchanged her red ceremony lehenga for a petal pink gown that featured plenty of sparkling sequin and pearl embroidery. What a beauty! The spacious venue was fit for royalty with a sweetheart setup by BEL Event Productions that glowed against the rugged cliffs surrounding the space. The divine tablescapes featured enormous, fragrant centerpieces beautifully designed by Kismet Event Design. Guests were treated to world class entertainment by 3D Sounds who made sure the dance floor was on fire the whole night long. This is yet another fantastic wedding planned to perfection by BEL Event Productions, who showcased their impeccable design and organizational skills. Head into the full gallery for all the sweet images captured by Lin & Jirsa Photography.
