Welcome back Maharanis! We’re in the heat of all the action at Ruchi and Parth’s sizzling reception soiree! It took place at The Merion, an architectural marvel featuring a magnificent glass, domed roof. We can only imagine how spectacular it felt for the newlyweds to dance under the stars at their opulent affair. Further beautifying the space were the visionaries at Abhishek Decorators, who dreamed up a chic white stage concept accessorized with a sumptuous wall of candles and gold candelabras. Oh, and we must rave about Maharani Ruchi’s fashion forward, deep blue Sabyasachi lehenga. Honestly, we think this may be the most perfect reception lehenga we’ve ever seen. A dramatic cerulean color that was fabulously constructed and twirled oh-so-beautifully! It ticked all of the boxes, and we just know that Ruchi dropped jaws throughout the special night. House of Talent captured some editorial worthy photos of the lovebirds, and we're sure these portraits will be hanging in their home for years to come. Before the Indian wedding ceremony began at The Merion, hearts were fluttering and anticipation was at an all time high as Ruchi and Parth prepared for the most important moment of their lives. Every bride dreams of looking like a goddess on her big day, and Maharani Ruchi definitely succeeded. She couldn’t have appeared more sensational! This fashionista bride was adorned in the best of the best, including a cranberry Sabyasachi lehenga that featured gold embroidery, floral motifs, and jeweled waist details. Such a precious piece of art. To match her regal lehenga, she slipped a pair of sparkling Christian Louboutin heels onto her dainty feet. The bride was further dolled up by Maliha Khan, who gave her a bombshell makeup look and a bouffant, red carpet ready ‘do. The faces of her parents and bridesmaids as she was adorned in her finery were just so precious! Finally, Ruchi was ready to make her grand entrance at The Merion, which was was festooned in the most romantic decor concepts by Abhishek Decorators, including a circular mandap draped in gold and pink silks. And we’re loving the bridesmaids’ purple anarkalis. Such a fun crew of ladies! Maharani Ruchi made her grand appearance accompanied with her brothers, as she held onto her treasured Ganesh Bhagwaan statue. Maharanis, we are such fans of this idea. Instead of carrying a conventional bouquet down the aisle, perhaps a precious possession or religious statue may be a more sentimental option! Parth and Ruchi had a traditional Hindu wedding with seven pheras and some Gujarati musical flair. With love, excitement, and laughter the darling duo became husband and wife. The adoring crowd leapt to their feet to shower the newly minted husband and wife with all their blessings! Such a delightful ceremony and couple. Pull up a chair Maharanis! Today we delve into the love story of Ruchi and Parth that began 8 years ago, in 2009, on the lawns of Drexel University. After a mutual friend introduced them, Ruchi and Parth realized they had a few classes together. Parth was very fond Ruchi’s study guides, and the rest is history! They became best friends and partners for life, and planned a fairytale wedding ceremony befitting their love story. The best weekend of the lovebirds' lives began at The Mirage for their Sangeet. Our jaws dropped as we witnessed the fabulosity inside the ballroom, including the petal pink floral wall and chic white stage setup by the visionaries at Abhishek Decorators. The once in a lifetime party had both Punjabi and Gujarati flair, and included a dhol player and plenty of garba time. It was the perfect (and most fun) way to fuse the bride and grooms’ cultures! Ruchi and Parth performed a dance in perfect unison, followed by guests rocking out on the dance floor. It’s rare to see a Sangeet celebration of this magnitude and energy, and we have to hand it to this darling duo for throwing a pre-wedding bash with so much razzle dazzle. With such excitement buzzing in the air, guests couldn’t wait to witness Ruchi and Parth say “I do.” Our next post will cover all the ceremonial beauty, but in the meantime, glide over to the full gallery by House of Talent for the fun filled pics!

With all of Meena and Tariq’s wedding ceremony action in full swing, we were blown away by the luxurious ambiance created for this once in a lifetime event. All you Chicago Maharanis, make sure to check out the Chicago Hilton Hotel. We can't believe how stunningly lavish this hotel is! Also, we have to give major props to Shaadi Creations, who are obviously extremely talented at created the most dreamy design concepts. Brides to be, take your time and look through these incredible pics by Maha Studios in the complete gallery for all the wedding inspiration you'll need! Most of all, we love how happy Meena and Tariq looked in every wedding ceremony photo. Of the couple, Maha Studios told us: “Meena is a very down to earth, bubbly bride and even though she may have been stressed, it did not show one bit on her! She was energetic, open, and just an amazing person to be around! I loved the energy between her and Tariq. They don't take themselves too seriously even though they are extremely smart, successful and ambitious individuals. It was a pure joy to photograph them on their mehndi and wedding day!” Here at Maharani Weddings, we’re thrilled that this intelligent and loving couple had such a magical union. We wish Meena and Tariq all the best on their exciting journey as husband and wife!

We’re back with all of Meena and Tariq’s wedding deets! Before the ceremony began, the couple adorned themselves in their wedding finery. Maharani Meena was a showstopper in a ruby red gown and angelic hair and makeup by Makeup by Francesca. After the couple's emotional first look, they posted for some glamorous portraits. Their love in these stunning photos positively bursts off the screen. As we entered the lavish ballroom of the Chicago Hilton Hotel, we were blown away by the elaborate design elements Shaadi Creations created. From the intricate draping, peacock shaped floral arrangements, and festive tents erected over the food stations by Shahi Nihari, the space was transformed into an exotic, romantic dreamland. The photographers at Maha Studios captured the whimsy and beauty of the event perfectly, and you can enjoy all the photos in the complete gallery.
