Princeton, NJ Indian Wedding by Odyssey Films

Hello there, my beloved Maharanis! I hope you are having an incredible Wednesday. The filmy day of the week just arrived, and it came to bring back great memories of a spectacular celebration: Rupanshee & Vivek's wedding. We think they are a match made in heaven! Our fabulous couple chose the elegance and glamour of the Hyatt Regency Princeton for their wedding celebration. With this venue, your guests will feel like your wedding is taking place in a palace. Abhishek Decorators made sure to create a magical atmosphere to celebrate the newlyweds' love. It was phenomenal! Maharanis, Invitations by Inktricate welcomed everyone to the salon, and we can say they were amazed since the beginning! Ladies, you already know that dancing at a wedding is a must! Everyone was on the dance floor at this wedding, thanks to  D&S Event Solutions. I'm sure it was a memorable evening! Sweeties, why don't we talk about our lovely Rupanshee's gorgeous look? Our Maharani's makeup was done by Makeup by Preeti Reilly and Hair by Fiza Mansoor, and with both styles, she looked natural yet glamorous, sophisticated yet adorable. She was breathtaking! Remember, a stunning gown goes hand in hand with delicate makeup. Annu's Creation understands this, and its primary goal is to create an unforgettable experience and have you say "Yes!" to the right gown! But that's not all; Anuja Wala created a one-of-a-kind Mehndi masterpiece that captivated all eyes! Regal Palette Studio captured a gorgeous set of photographs our couple will enjoy forever! I am happy to say that Odyssey Films recorded every minute of love, happiness, and these two beautiful souls coming together for the rest of their lives! For your delight, they have shared the film below. So wait no more and prepare to relive this real-life fairytale by clicking the play button below. You'll love it!

Keep coming back for more love stories, my dears!

Louisville, KY Indian Wedding by Regeti’s Photography

Happy Monday, my dears! Today is January's last day, and to close it with love, I want to share Nitya & Ujjwal's magnificent wedding event with you. So, get yourselves ready to dive into this entry! This in-love young couple hosted a gorgeous reception at the Omni Louisville. This venue is the perfect place for an unforgettable day because of the historic surroundings and modern comforts. B3 Event Management teamed up with Weddings InStyle to inspire the guests, flawlessly execute the wedding plan, and decorate the venue with unique and memorable floral arrangements. Can you imagine how the bride and groom felt? I believe they were dazzled by the captivating ambiance. Maharanis, a big event like your wedding must have great music and exquisite cuisine. Moghul Caterers covered the culinary part of our lovebirds' wedding. The guests will remember the dish our couple chose to serve! Unquestionably! Sweeties, let me tell you about the incredible traditional gowns our Nitya wore. One of India's leading fashion houses, Shyamal & Bhumika, and the impressive designs of Anushree Reddy were part of our Maharani's looks. Nitya made everyone sigh with her golden ruby lengha! Her looks combined perfectly with the artistic Mehndi design by Meera. I think the handsome groom, Ujjwal, was blessed with such a beautiful Maharani. As you know, a film is always a great way to share a story; lucky for our couple, A&A Video Productions are experts in their field. They were present to record every significant moment of Nitya & Ujjwal's big day! One of the most significant parts of this wedding event is the fantastic photography job Regeti's Photography did. So, if you can't get enough of this charming couple, you must take a closer look at their extraordinary celebration of love on the gallery we have prepared for you. Every photo is a visual delight you don't want to miss!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
My husband and I met on Dil Mil the dating app, just 2 months before the pandemic. Both of us had been disappointed through the years by people who weren't right for us, so having high hopes was tough for me. He jokes now that he swiped because he liked Houston (where I was living at the time), and I confessed that I had low expectations when I swiped right--no way someone this cute was drama free! We became fast friends immediately and would talk on the phone for hours, usually during his long commute home (DC traffic!). It was so refreshing to get to know each other over the phone, talking about everything under the sun, that by the time we met a month later, we felt like old friends. Over the next couple months, things moved pretty fast. I have to admit I was a little hesitant to let my walls down at first, but his leap of faith inspired me. I think I knew he was the one when I saw how much he tried for me. He made efforts to call, to visit, to write letters, to let me know what his intentions were. He even asked to meet my parents, which I've never had a guy do! My small circle of girlfriends who love me the most all independently commented how happy I was and how they could see this was different.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Due to covid, his proposal plans got messed up several times! It was April of 2020, the first peak of the pandemic. He was in Houston visiting me for my birthday. He tried his best to surprise me but was pretty nervous so he asked questions like , "If I was going to propose on your birthday, what would you wear? Just asking" Needless to say, I had a new dress and was ready! Nothing prepared me for what he had planned. He sent me out on an errand to pick up dessert our friends had sent us from a local bakery- when I got back, there were tea light candles everywhere, an ipad set up recording everything, him in a suit and a bottle of champagne waiting. I ran to the bathroom to change into my birthday dress, but was so excited and nervous at the beautiful display in my living room, that I locked myself in the bathroom and texted my best friend! My heart was pounding as I knew my entire life was about to change in the next few minutes. She finally convinced me to get off the phone and go back out there-- when I did, he told me how beautiful I looked, got down on one knee and proposed , all on video. He says he forgot what he was originally going to say, but it didn't matter because I was so shocked by the moment that I barely heard him anyway. The ring was beautiful and perfect and everything I wanted--definitely one of the happiest moments of my life.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Honestly wedding planning was an extremely stressful process every step of the way. We had to plan everything twice due to Covid and even had to switch planners at one point. The latter turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to us. B3Events and specifically Vini Desai handled everything so well and were there every step of the way when there were bumps along the road--and there were many! Reservation issues, outfits botched, covid delays, vendors ghosting, technical issues, it was one crisis a week on average but in the end, it all came together beautifully.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The food! The cuisine was very diverse and had lots of creative Indian vegetarian options for all. Edible avocado spoons, naan pizza, chaat on a stick- there was something for everyone! Also since I had friends from all different stages of life there, it was awesome to see the groups of friends reunite with one another and eat together.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
I wasn't necessarily the little girl who dreamed about my dream wedding. I was more the one who envisioned future life with my husband and babies. But by the time I got engaged, after years of searching, I felt so lucky to be able to marry my best friend, and realized how much I wanted to celebrate that. I won't even pretend that wedding planning is not that bad- for me it was more stressful than medical school! But I think when you feel like giving up or start to think 'I dont care anymore' try to remember the big picture and the memory you are creating. Try to keep the goal in mind and that the stress is temporary. I also had heard that wedding weekend goes by fast but I never anticipated how little time there would be for planned things, like certain photos and looks. Everything was a rush- not sure a way around that, but knowing that it is coming helps to offset some of the stress. Lastly, I would say there will be people there you love dearly and want to catch up with, but you will be swept away every 30 seconds to greet someone else. Try to make the best of those short visits with friends, even if its a quick photo, a bite of food and a giggle, or a hug on the dance floor. Live in the moment and let it all go during your wedding weekend- after all that planning, you deserve it!

Come back tomorrow to start a new lovely month full of cute stories!

Atlanta, GA Indian Wedding by Bhowmik Dave Films & Photography

Happy Friday, Maharanis! I think January passed by so quickly, but I am happy to tell you it left us one more adorable love story for you to start planning the wedding you always wanted! So, let me tell you about Rima & Aemish's big day. The ceremony and the reception took place at The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North. This venue ensures your vision of the perfect wedding comes to life! Sejal Bhakta - The One Event is an expert to plan your special event to make it the most exciting time of your life. Our lovely couple had a space to smile, feel inspired, and enjoy every moment of the planning process leading up to their special day with this fantastic team. Utopian Events was in charge of creating a sweet ambiance for the couple and their beloved guests. Shehnai Guy performed a great selection of contemporary and old songs and melodies. Everyone had a great time! Harshal Dave also played great themes that combined with the charming ambiance of the room! Maharanis, a musical wedding is always an excellent way to make everyone feel your love! Our couple knew this, so they called Raman Singh with GTB Productions to make the guests dance all night long! Sweeties, as you know, tradition is what makes us who we are. To make our Maharani and her bridesmaids look more beautiful than they are, the mehndi artists Unnati'Z Art and Manasi's Bridal Henna did spectacular designs worth a standing ovation! Now, for the reception, our lovely Rima was pampered by Gunn Glamour Hair, Makeup, & Bridal. Samantha Gunn has been in the styling industry for over ten years, making the brides look classy and gorgeous. Our Maharani was not the exception! Sweeties, the newlyweds were blessed by the experience Bhowmik Dave Films & Photography have. They were present during the entire event, and the results were unbelievable! You can enjoy the great selection of pictures we have put together for you in this gallery. Every single shot will make your heart smile!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met over super bowl weekend in Houston through mutual friends. I knew he was “the one” after he met my family and saw how much everyone loved him.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
He proposed to me at the Dallas Arboretum in the Secret Garden. I walked in and there were three skylines- each for each city that played a part in our love story- Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Each sky like had a note and as I made my way around there was a violinist playing a special song for each city. At the end he was standing there with a ring in hand.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I would not have been able to do any of this without my amazing wedding planner Nirali Shah Events. Everything was so seamless and easy. My vendors were easy to work with and made all of our wedding dreams come true!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I wanted something a little different and more whimsical to go with our “Badarfly” theme for the Sangeet. We had our decor tie in to our outfits and it pulled the whole look together beautifully. For the reception I wanted something a little more timeless and soft. The train on my lehnga sold me on the Elan outfit!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
I think the food was both of our favorite part of planning! We are both huge foodies and we knew we wanted the dinner both nights to exceed everyone’s expectations!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
After our wedding the thing we heard multiple times from our guests was how fun the dance floor was the whole weekend! We both were having so much fun and the energy was unmatched, everyone quite literally danced the entire night away! Shoutout to our amazing DJ for keeping the vibes on point!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My brother in law from Ireland surprised me right before I walked in on the Sangeet!! He had been in a long-standing visa application process for months leading up to the wedding. As the day quickly approached I had to accept that he most likely wouldn’t be able to attend, and I had always said I did not want to have my wedding without him there. The night before my Sangeet he received his approval and he quickly booked a flight, flew over 20 hours, and landed just before the event. Somehow my whole family managed to keep this a secret! I replay the moment the door swung open and he walked in over and over in my mind. My heart was so full and so happy! There was some definite ugly crying that took place, but no regrets!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
I wanted to keep the Sangeet super whimsical and ethereal. We had lots of flowers and lights and our dance floor looked like a vintage Persian rug, which I absolutely loved!! Our stage was definitely A MOMENT.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Nobody will remember the little things, so don’t sweat it! Concentrate on the overall vibe you want to have and the feeling you want everyone to walk away with.
