Morristown, NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by PhotosMadeEz

Maharanis, the first wedding film of the year, is here! So, what do you think about getting ready for Komal & Patrick's Indian Fusion Wedding? These lovebirds celebrated a cozy ceremony at the Westin Morristown and if you wonder who planned this magnificent event, let me tell you all about it. Our couple wanted to make sure their wedding plans went perfectly, with a touch of luxury and genuine passion. Lucky for them, DeBest Events was the most incredible team to plan their wedding! They did their best to provide everything our newlyweds needed. You can tell the guests adored the way Komal and Patrick pampered them! Our lovebirds decided to call Gaurav - Powerhouse so they could put the energy everyone needed to dance all night long, and Cirque Central dazzled everyone with their absolute talent! Maharanis, this team works with your vision and gives you experienced insight to create a customized and memorable event. But that is not all; Komal & Patrick also called Cynthia Midori, a live painter that immortalized our newlyweds' special moment. How awesome is that! I adore this idea for a wedding! Maharanis, we can agree that Komal's innate beauty is undeniable. To highlight this, SV Bridal Concepts by Sanjana Vaswani did an exquisite hair and makeup design that made everyone sigh, including me! The best part of the event is a play button away from you as PhotosMadeEz captured a series of exceptional moments worth watching over and over again, so don't wait any longer and get ready to enjoy this beautiful film. I'm sure it will make your heart smile!

My favorite Maharanis, come back tomorrow for an incredible love story!

Somerset, NJ Indian Wedding by Fine Art Production

Happy Fri-yay, Maharanis! As you know, 2021 has given us the most incredible entries, love has been present on every feature, and today, I am eager to share this year's last love story, Esha & Henil's. This gorgeous couple celebrated their love at a cozy yet elegant venue, Marigold Banquets. This place is the perfect combination between elegance and rustic and modern architecture. Those details, accompanied by the luxurious decor by Tradition and Trends, made this wedding an unforgettable one! We all know every event deserves attention to detail, professionalism, and, most importantly, passion. Events By Srishti have all of these, and our lovebirds couldn't find a better team to plan and design their most important day. The newlyweds were all about pampering their guests! That is why they had Medley Entertainment to make everyone feel their love through music and  Luxe Event Group to make everyone dance all night long. I think both teams did a great job! As you can see, our lovely Maharani, the handsome groom, and their guests had the time of their lives! My dears, it is time to mention how charming the bride looked during her big day. Esha looked phenomenal thanks to the delicate yet beautiful hair and makeup done by Maliha Khan MakeUp and a very detailed Mehndi art by Tejal. Henil couldn't take his eyes off of the love of his life, and we know why! We all can agree they will live happily ever after, and you can see this through the pictures Fine Art Production captured. They did a fantastic job, and we applaud them! Maharanis, check out the gallery we've put together for you! And don't forget that 2022 will bring more romantic love stories!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met my Groom through a family friend and we started talking and dating casually. As time passed, we realized that we share the same ideology and the mutual respect for each other was on point. I loved the way he noticed little things that I liked or disliked, and did everything for me without asking. He blended so well with all my family members and took care of me as his princess. I knew he was the one, at the very beginning of our relationship. He used to his Masters in Scranton University, so one day for the first time I went to drop him off at his place. That day he invited me inside and cooked some delicious food (AKA "Poha") after driving him back for 2 hours. On my way back, he stayed on the phone call with me the entire time until I made it back home. That is when I realized that he was the one and that he will always take care of me and keep me happy!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Omee took me to California to visit his family for the first time. It was during that time, he took me to a surprise helicopter ride during sunset in Los Angeles as it was my first time visiting California. It was during that ride, he got on his knees and proposed to me near the HOLLYWOOD sign and I said "YES". Then we landed and celebrated with a bottle of champagne.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Initially, when I imagined getting married, I always wanted to wear a traditional red lengha. When it was turn for me to get married, I went to India and went shopping for my wedding outfit. I tried on many different red lenghas but none of them clicked with me! I went to Kathputli, the store where I bought my lengha looking for a red length however, my eyes landed on a pinkish shade lengha which I fell in love with as soon as I saw it! I tried it on and I knew that this would be my wedding lengha.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
There are many enjoyable parts of the wedding planning process such as creating my own wedding website from scratch, creating the invitations, decorating the house, and etc. The most enjoyable part was, the family gatherings we had starting 2 months before our wedding. We used to meet up every weekend as my dad's and mom's side of the family were preparing a dance for our Sangeet Night. My mom's side family ended up creating a personalized Sanedo based on my and Omee's relationship. The best part was getting together and everyone enjoying the process and making it feel like a nostalgic Indian wedding environment.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
For Brides-to-be, I would say that enjoy the entire process from the time you start planning the wedding to the time you get married. There will be times, that you will get stressed but at the end of the day, it is all worth it! One other advice I would give is to do a BARAAT as a bride too! It is an amazing experience. This is something I ended up doing and I really enjoyed the entire experience with my family. It was fun to experience all the family members from both the bride and groom's side come together and celebrate the Baraat!

Maharanis, we say goodbye to 2021 but we invite you to keep coming for more 2022 love stories!

Hello, Maharanis! Don't miss Palak & Naman's wedding celebration in today's Platinum Guide Blog.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
As a Covid Bride, postponing and replanning our wedding was definitely very stressful.   We were fortunate to have had the best vendors that were very accommodating throughout the entire process. A big shout out would go out to our Day of Coordinator - Henna Patel.  She took care of us from the beginning to the end of the journey in the most cool, calm, and collected way. Everyone was shocked at how organized and on schedule our wedding was, especially for an Indian wedding! Heena and her team allowed me to be stress-free and have fun throughout my entire wedding day.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I was set on a maroon colored bridal lengha but I didn't have a clear vision of the exact outfit that I wanted.  I was not able to go to India for wedding shopping but my parents were able to.  They would facetime me every night and show me every maroon outfit there was at the shop. Eventually, I picked out certain parts of different maroon outfits that I liked, to make my own.  I absolutely loved the way my lengha turned out and am thankful for my parents for making it happen.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Me and Naman have been together for 11 years!  One of our biggest blessings from this is that our families and friends have also known each other for a long time.  Our wedding was not a celebration of two sides coming together, it was a celebration as a whole unit.  I think this was something so special to have at our wedding and it brought a different type of energy to our wedding.  Many guests told us how much fun and love they felt at our wedding and I would credit that to the energy brought by our close family and friends.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Our wedding day truly was one of the most fun days that I have ever had, there were so many special moments throughout the day.  A special moment that stands out to me was reading the letter that Naman wrote to me right before our first look.  With all the adrenaline and emotions that come with the morning of a wedding, it is easy to lose sight of what is important.  Reading the letter brought me back to the only thing that matters - my relationship with Naman. Naman's letter ended up being almost identical to the letter that I wrote him and at that moment, everything felt so right. I couldn't wait to go see Naman!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
The one thing that I kept in my mind throughout my wedding weekend was that this is the only time in my life where all of my favorite people will be under one roof at the same time.  This helped me live in the moment, instead of focusing on things that might have been going wrong.

Philadelphia, PA Indian Wedding by Studio KSD

The last Monday of 2021 is here! Maharanis, we have shared many love stories throughout the year, and today's is equally romantic as the ones you've read before! Let me introduce our two lovebirds, Purvi & Sohil. This charming couple decided to have a beautiful ceremony and a gorgeus reception at the Hilton Penn's Landing. Having excellent planning and design of your big day is on top of the list as every guest will remember how cute you and the groom look, don't you think? Our couple wanted to make sure every detail went beyond perfect, so they called NP Events LLC, and this incredible team successfully planned the event! In addition to the planning, the room's decor was fantastic! There were flowers all over the place and beautiful details that would remain in everyone's memories. All of these were possible thanks to an incredible team, Abhishek Decorators. I seriously think the ambiance looked magical! Maharanis, let me tell you a little secret! Purvi & Sohil were all about pampering their guests, and there are two different ways to get into one's heart, food, and music! For the first one, our newlyweds decided to go with authentic South Asian cuisine, and who is better than Chowpatty to prepare exquisite dishes? I know everyone loved the food of this magnificent event! Now, for the music, you must remember you should go with a team that loves music, provides energy, and make everyone dance all night long.  MVPDJs are experts on the matter! They are an Award-Winning DJ entertainment company built on passion and love. So, as you can imagine, their performance was an asset to Purvi & Sohil's big day! Sweeties, the part we love is here: Purvi's stunning looks! Zahret Make Up Art highlighted her beauty with delicate hair and makeup that matched the gown designed by AsoPalav. When you look at her, I promise your heart will melt! The handsome groom also looked phenomenal, thanks to AsoPalav. This couple is the perfect match! To remember every moment of their big day, Studio KSD produced a beautiful film and captured the most romantic pictures that you will not want to miss. We have put together a gallery exclusively for you! So wait no more, scroll down, and get ready to enjoy it. I'm sure you'll love it as much as we did!
