Maharani Sheela, on her and her bridesmaids saris:

"While I didn't have any particular style or colors in mind, I did decide one thing early on in the planning process: I knew that I wanted to incorporate some Marathi traditions and styles, including wearing a traditional nine-yard (nauvari) saree for the ceremony. I knew that all the sarees for the bridal party would be bright, so we later decided on classic golds and champagne decor elements so that the ceremony outfits would really stand out."

Check back in with us later today for some of our favorite highlights from Sheela and Nikhil's wedding ceremony!

Maharani Apurva, on her wedding style:

"A two day affair of back-to-back Punjabi and Rajput rituals made the ceremony exciting and exquisite. The events were beautifully planned, the decor was thoughtful and very thematic, food and alcohol flowed freely and it was one of the most fun weddings we attended. It was ours. The colors of what we wore being the focus, we had complementary hues running in the decor. We chose brights mostly, for the winter wedding."

On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"Art and styling being my background I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. Right from designing the invites to exploring fabrics, styles, patterns for my outfit. I loved getting the whole event organized especially the girly stuff like selecting decor, the dance practices. The pampering from family and friends. All of it made it super memorable."

On her most memorable wedding moments:

"The walk to the Jai-Mala mandap was so emotional, as I met and greeted friends and family along the way, while they witnessed this beautiful transformation. My husband waiting for me at the mandap, looked into my eyes like He read my mind and knew what I was feeling exactly.

Magical was when the Jai-Mala was exchanged and my Raja in spite of being held up by our people, grabbed a chance to caress my face in full view of everybody."

On her and Arjun's special dance:

"Despite my Raja being a Naval Officer and his tight schedules, we managed to Skype and practice our dance together. Choreographed by Srikant, a trainer with Shiamak Davar. It was Raabta we chose. Raabta - For the words felt so appropriate to us, since there was always a connection between us. A feeling so strong that, we believed everybody finds his/her better half, and us having met again was a sign from above."

On the role that family and friends played:

"I had support all the way. My in-laws for finding us this dream destination, my mum and brother for letting me go crazy with all my ideas and execution. My friends for helping me with places to shop all over India, guiding me in these cities. Deepti, Geetu, Namrata, Bhavya who stood by me throughout. Farah my best friend who met me after about 8 long years coming all the way from Riyadh. A special mention - my bhabhi Sneha, who was carrying at the time, organized a sweet hen party with my closest friends and colleagues, was also a huge help in designing my outfits."

Additional thoughts from the bride:

"The venue we chose was Alwar Bagh, Alwar, Rajasthan, a gorgeous heritage hotel. Arjun and I were keen on having a traditional Rajasthani theme as I'm Rajput, and rasams of the Punjabi's as he is Punjabi. Mehendi that had traditional musicians performing for us. Sangeet was punjabi style with dhol and sangeet performances by family and friends followed by everybody taking the dance floor with the in-house DJ. There was love of course, friends and family who truly rejoiced with the two families coming together over some great company, authentic Rajasthani food, the choicest of cocktails and total Bollywood naach-gaana."

Enjoy the rest of your day, dolls, and don't forget to join us tomorrow for another spectacular wedding event!

Maharani Shikha, on meeting the Raja of her dreams, Ameet:

"We both grew up in Oklahoma. Our parents knew each other and we had several mutual friends- so we knew of each other but did not actually meet until 6 years ago when we were both in Washington DC at a conference. We were living in different cities and kept in touch and our paths continued to cross. A few years later we started dating (long distance) and when I told him how difficult it was living so far (New York to Houston) Within a month, he found a new job and moved all the way to Houston to be with me and thats when I knew he was the one!"

On her mehndi night style:

"For my mendhi I designed my own outfit based off my inspirations. I bought the fabric and took it to a tailor who executed exactly what I was looking for. I loved this outfit because it was so unique. My favorite part was that it was a lengha with a high-low skirt, so I could show of the mendhi on my feet! For my hair and makeup I wanted something very traditional, so I went with a side braid with jewels and flowers.

My mom made all my jewelry with fresh florals. Earrings, necklace and tikka. It was something very unique and special knowing my mother was the one who made it just for me."

Meet me back here later today for a sangeet you'll never forget!
