Maharanis, today we will be making a trip all the way to the United Arab Emirates! Our charming couple, Dweenisha & Sheilesh, gave us a tease of their voluptuous wedding celebration at the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island. This luxuriant resort has everything its clients could ever wish for, and our couple fell head-over-heels with its breathtaking views and top-quality services. Dweenisha & Sheilesh ceremony took place at the resort's private beach, surrounded by their loved ones and the grand ocean and its pleasant breeze. What a lovely way to start their new life together. I do not doubt that the whole family enjoyed their holidays and celebrated with the sweethearts, all while Vidira Concept's fantastic crew took care of the design and decor for the wedding. These professionals delivered marvelous bouquets for the celebration with the same shades the bride and groom chose for their attires. Our couple had several looks throughout each of the events, combining traditional red and yellow colors and a soft sky blue. Later on, going for a magnificent black and sparkling dressing for the reception. The marvelous Dweenisha had Neha Shah and Geeta Masani embellish her even more! Our bride's gorgeous features were radiant as ever, with her sun-kissed skin glowing as bright as her love for Sheilesh. The handsome groom had some tricks of his own with his elegant tuxedo and shining smile. Their charm is unbelievable, dears! Just as apparent as their devotion. I am sure you are as excited as one can be to see the impressive shots Rose Life Studio took. Sunny planned the most magical proposal and I was blown away at every step and every detail. Here is the story of the proposal told by Sunny:

I had always known that I wanted to propose to Dhwani in Boston, the city where we first met.

Our first date encompassed several meals, a visit to the New England Aquarium, a stop at a speakeasy, and even included a trip to Chinatown. It spanned all throughout the city and we ended up spending entire day together because neither of us wanted it to end.

Our first encounter and one of our favorite shows to watch together, Taskmaster, were the inspirations behind the proposal.

I recreated elements of our first date by taking Dhwani to each of the spots we visited on that day.

She had to solve tasks (similar to puzzles) in order to get the clue for the next place to go. We started the tasks in the morning and timed it to reach a restaurant by lunchtime, where we coincidently had dinner on our first date.

After lunch, I asked Dhwani to take a walk with me at nearby Fan Pier Park that overlooks both the Boston Marina and downtown. There I gave her the final task and asked her to marry me.

After she said “yes,” we drove back to Connecticut, and I surprised her once more with a small gathering of family and friends at home to celebrate.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Planning a wedding in the middle of COVID was hectic and stressful. I didn’t have a vision of what my perfect wedding would look like but my fiancé and I focused more on what we wanted the experience to be for us and our guests, and disused each step with each other and our parents to make sure we accomplished that goal. We were thankful to find a group of vendors we trusted and most of our vendors were fantastic (besides our venue) and were thankful to have a solid team who we were on the same page with and trusted to manage the event while we were enjoying our wedding with our guests.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our wedding was in May of 2021, a few months after the vaccines had rolled out and it was the first large event that most of our friends and family had attended since COVID first began. We are so thankful for each of them for choosing to spend it with us. Being surrounded by loved ones with good food, drinks, and music in a beautiful city after a long period of isolation was exciting and liberating. We also heard that the local Leopold's Ice Cream we served during the wedding was also a favorite!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
In regards to wedding planning: Don’t be afraid to ask for help and ask questions. To me, the whole wedding planning process felt secretive but I reached out to a lot of my friends who were married to ask for advice on vendors, ideas, prices, suggestions, etc and found it was immensely helpful. Also, don’t be shy to ask questions before signing any contracts! Once you sign it, you’re locked in so ask all of your questions beforehand.

The Mehndi art designed by Mendhi Henna Artist was perfect for the occasion, adding an extra touch of traditional flair to the overall aesthetic! I'm going to start by saying, get ready Maharanis! Today we showcase the beauty and inspiring wedding of Madhumita & Karthik. The images captured by the brilliant PhotoSaga emanates the joy, color, and festivity feel that took place at the gorgeous Crowne Plaza Worthington in Columbus, Ohio. Today's union features the impeccable planning and design work of B3 Event Management, who also created the stunning decor. We are in love with every detail that the team created for the ceremony. From the carved mandap and to the long candle aisle runner, the wedding site it's a vibrant feast for the eyes of reds, golds, and creams. Madhumita glowed with timeless grace, wearing a yellow and chartreuse silk saree draped and tied by Glamor Salon by Kunjal and Falguni. Also, check out the subtle makeup look that made Maharani Madhumita pulled off the South Indian bridal look like a total queen! After the different rituals that are part of a traditional south Indian wedding ceremony, the newlyweds impressed their guests with the culinary creations of Bawarchi Biryanis. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
It was an arranged marriage and we first met at Cafe Mila in Dallas.. it was little funny because we saw each other couple times earlier but didnt talk with him before that first meet on Oct 25, 2019. The converation went for over two hrs but we didnt realise it went that long.. the moment i stepped out of that cafe i felt that he is the one with whom i can share anything and spend my life without clock..

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
The first thing that got to our mind is to hire a wedding planner with all this pandemic in place. We came across B3 events and their previous work with Indian weddings impressed us. The vendors suggested by B3E were perfect for our vision. Overall, The Decor was fantastic on the wedding day. We also loved the work of PhotoSaga and NitsyDego. The pictures and the video exceeded our expectations.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I had no specific color in mind but I really loved the saree the moment I saw it.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
We had regular conversations with the planner but in-person meeting was fun discussing decor stuff,

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Absolutely decor!!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Of course, The whole wedding event as it was my special day !
