There is something that is just so sensational (or should we say sun-sational?) about having an Indian wedding on the beaches of Mexico. Pair that with a stunning couple adorned in designer garb and you have a matrimonial soiree that will stand the test of time! The bustling sounds of Premier Entertainment blared bright and loud as Tejas’ posse made their way down the warm sands of Mexico. But, it was truly Anisha that made the real grand entrance, as she floated down the golden beach in a sparkling lehenga. Accompanied by her petal pink clad bridal party, today's Maharani bride made her way to a regal, circular mandap set against a jewel-toned sea, and the talented photographers from Erick Pozos Photography captured every last moment as she went from Miss to Mrs. The natural backdrop of the ocean was the perfect contrast to the over the top glamour of the floral and chandelier adorned mandap. This wedding extravaganza was planned and designed with elevated luxury in mind by Preeti Exclusive Creations, while Indian Destination Weddings took care of all travel concierge responsibilities. Happy Friday Maharanis! Today, we have the perfect bash to ease you into the weekend, so grab your sunnies and tropical drinks as we head to the golden sands of Mexico for Anisha and Tejas’ Indian destination wedding. The couple’s festivities incorporated oodles of Indian flair, seashells and waves for a once in a lifetime experience! Travel concierge Indian Destination Weddings was there every step of the way ensuring that Anisha and Tejas’ loved ones were having the time of their lives sipping tropical cocktails, noshing on cuisine crafted in house, and basking in the warm sunshine at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun resort. Meanwhile, the dashing couple met on the warm sands for their darling first look. Tejas gasped in delight as he caught sight of his golden goddess. Their first look ended with the lovebirds twirling in the sand surrounded by their elated bridal party, who were raring to get the shenanigans started! In our next post, we’ll take you into the magical ceremony of Anisha and Tejas, which featured planning & design duties by Preeti Exclusive Creations. The design house transformed the couple's corner of the beach into a pristine oasis complete with chandeliers and enormous pink blooms. Always a personal favorite of mine, is the second evening of dine around dinners followed by the Dessert Party.  This year's party had everyone buzzing with excitement, as the theme was, "The Under the Sea Mermaid Dream Party." Some highlights of the event included decedent sea life inspired desserts, mermaids and merman floating around in the colorful pools and opulent lighting throughout the pool area at the Kimpton Seafire Resort. Celebrations Ltd. did an impeccable job spinning classic beach elements that were used in a natural and organic way with the custom decor structures and the mermaid cabana. The result was absolutely breathtaking! My hat is off to our dear friend, Rishi Patel, of HMR Designs, for bringing such a magical party to life.  We have many more whimsical images in our gallery, so swim over there and take a look!

We are coming right up with the magical gala and very special guests that left our jaws dropped! 

We are grinning ear to ear as we recall all the charming moments from Engage!17 Cayman Islands! The festivities ended with the coveted Gala. Here at Maharani Weddings we love color and beautiful shades of the rainbow; but, when paired with the white and silver clad guests, our hearts really skipped a beat. One of the greatest surprises? The ladies of En Vogue showed up to sprinkle the venue with a ton of magic. I couldn’t imagine being at this event without the amazing vendors and planners that tirelessly work to ensure that a bride’s magical day is just that for her and her family. We walked away from Engage!17 at the Kimpton Seafire Resort pumped with more motivation and inspiration than ever! Live out our special three day experience with the gorgeous photos in the gallery.

There was just something that was so exhilarating with boarding a private catamaran in the Caribbeans and basking in the tropical ambiance. Swimming alongside these majestic creatures in their natural habitat was a surreal experience and one we won’t soon forget! We were whisked away on a private boat ride watching as the land behind us slowly disappeared. The stingrays showed a lot of attention to the featured guests of Engage!17 and roamed around us gently. Thanks to the support of my Engage Family, I even participated! Toes in the sand and the crystal clear waters only added to the eclectic vibe; as you can see from these photos, there was not a smile missing! We have a lot more fun images in our gallery, and if your future plans include Cayman, this is not an encounter to be missed!
