From the bride, on how they met:

"Nadim and I met through a mutual friend. I was attending pharmacy school in Vermont and he was attending pharmacy school in Maryland. Originally, being from Maryland, I was visiting for spring break when my friend insisted to match both of us. I was hesitant at first, but later I decided to give it a try. Both of us met up for dinner and a movie, the rest was history! The moment I knew he was "the one" was when I was on my rotations and it was one of the toughest rotations I had. He texted or called me throughout the day to let me know that he believed in me and I could get through this tough rotation. Nadim was extremely supportive while at the same time he was studying for his pharmacy boards exam. I realized how genuine and caring he was."

On the proposal:

"Nadim planned a spectacular proposal for me. My friend had invited me and a few of my close girlfriends over for dinner and a movie (dinner consisted of all my favorite foods and the movie was the one we watched on our first date). The entire time Nadim was hiding in another room. I had left with another friend to go pick up dessert. When we returned, Nadim opened the door and caught me completely off guard. He had a trail of roses and candles which lead me to another room with a bed of roses shaped into a heart. A friend of mine was playing our favorite song on the piano. He got down on one knee and proposed!"

On the wedding style:

"Our wedding was a 3 day event. The first day, Mehndi Night, we wanted a traditional Indian/Pakistani style. We wanted it to be colorful and vibrant! The second day, Baraat, we were going for a royal and glamorous theme. I definitely wanted red and gold with a hint of another color to compliment my wedding dress. The last day, Valima, we wanted to incorporate purple (again to compliment my reception outfit) and were going for a modern look. We'd say the entire credit goes to our wedding decorator, Sarah Khan, who made our thoughts into reality."

See the bride getting ready for her big day, next!

Phoenix, AZ Indian Fusion Wedding by Sameer Soorma

Sameer Soorma Studios has captured and edited the most charming Indian fusion wedding film to come out of Arizona, and you're about to get an exclusive look at it from start to finish! Nicole Arend Weddings & Events has planned and designed this momentous affair at the amazing Phoenix Art Museum, and you're just going to melt with every single spellbinding moment. Check out the breathtaking bridal mehndi by artist, Henna by Purvi, at the 1:38 mark — and the bride's impressive rock too! Plus, witness as Maharani Sheena reads a heartfelt letter from her Raja that makes her cry tears of happiness. Thankfully, her talented and understanding hair and makeup artist, Pooja Mehta, was on hand to make sure she'd be flawless for her walk down the aisle to meet Raja Tom — who looks absolutely dapper in a fashion forward, red suit with a contrasting bow tie. The bride herself is a dazzling sensation in a magenta, black and gold wedding lengha, lovingly chosen by her mother in India. Once these two lovebirds have exchanged their personally-written vows, it's time for them to celebrate like no other couple can at their heart-pumpin' reception. See it all for yourself!

The bride on how she met the Raja of her dreams:

"I met my husband in 2004, in the law school library. We remained good friends for almost 10 years before we started dating! We started dating in July of 2013, and got engaged in May of 2014. I knew he was "the one" on a trip we took to Flagstaff for New Year's Eve 2013!"

On choosing the perfect wedding legnha:

"I gave complete control of my lengha to my mom! She went to New Delhi for me and had a designer create my lengha. I didn't see it until she brought it back from India. I trusted her completely!"

On her most memorable wedding day moment:

"We wrote our own vows to each other, and the moments when we read our personal vows, some were funny, some were creative, and others were heartfelt, was the most special to me. I promised to, among other things, be a good mother to our children, to create a warm, welcoming, and safe home for our family and to limit the amount of cute cat videos I subject him to on YouTube! He promised never to question my liberal use of Tabasco on my food and to always work together as a team!"

On her and her Raja's special performance:

"We created our own unique "first dance" by doing our own Jimmy Fallon rap battle. I battled to the theme song from Fresh Prince of Bel Air and he to the song Juicy by Biggie! We videotaped the entire battle and did that instead of a traditional first dance. We wanted our wedding to be different and incorporate our unique style and this seemed like the perfect way to do it!"

Sit tight, Maharanis! We still have two more amazing wedding films on the way!
