Delray Beach, FL Indian Wedding by Monika Gauthier Photography & Design

Let's end the day with some super sweet floral and decor inspiration from our Maharani's reception. This bright and airy venue features some delicate and playful details. I love the zigzag motif on the tablecloths and how they contrast with the glamorous gold place settings. The beautiful little bud vases add a nice pop of color and the big white paper lanterns are definitely my favorite decor element. These gorgeous shots by Monika Gauthier Photography & Design really highlight the look and feel of this post-ceremony celebration. For all the details from this unforgettable event, including a look at the wedding ceremony, make your way to the full gallery

The bride, on her wedding style:

"For the reception, I was inspired by seeing blue mason jars on the internet. From there, we decided to use the multi-colored flowers, gold details (wine bottles and chargers), and the chevron printed table runners. I wasn't able to find any of these things anywhere (at least in my budget), so my family and I made every single blue mason jar, gold wine bottles, and table runners."

On what she enjoyed most about planning her wedding:

"What I enjoyed most about planning my wedding was the DIY aspect of it. The nights I enjoyed and cherished the most were the ones spent working on projects with both of our families, whether it was assembling our invitation suites, wedding programs, dying all the blue mason jars, making the floral garlands, or putting together the mandap. Our wedding planning ended up feeling like regular family gatherings, which made it so much fun!"

Hate to say goodbye, but thrilled we ended the day on this sweet little note. See you tomorrow, Maharanis!

Los Angeles, CA Indian Wedding by Erin Shimazu Photography

It's a lovely day in L.A. and our happy couple are about to tie the knot, but first, the groom has to make his way in on horseback, courtesy of Enchanted Carriage, for the baraat procession. Check out the vibrant and amazing floral and decor details from this ceremony. The mandap is simple and breathtaking all at once and all of the floral elements are just out-of-this-world. Erin Shimazu Photography really snapped up some beautiful shots from this unforgettable event, and seriously though, how sweet is the final shot of our bride's beautifully mehndied hand (expertly done by Henna Dil Se) in her groom? There's plenty more to see in the gallery, so make sure you check it out.

On the wedding style:

"We began designing our wedding based on two ideas.

1. Vishal wanted to use Chicago Bears (blue & orange) colors because he's from Chicago

2. Eswari's favorite story is Alice in Wonderland so she wanted to incorporate some subtle whimsical hints of this classic storybook

For the wedding ceremony we kept with the Alice in Wonderland theme by doing an outdoor garden ceremony and creating a mandap made of vines and flowers. For the ceremony we went with the traditional orange, magenta, and red colors. We decided we could weave the orange into the evening to meet Vishal's requirements of using blue and orange. We did the reception indoors and used blue dyed orchids and orange tulips to create the blue and orange theme that vishal wanted. To weave in the Alice in Wonderland theme, we created signature cocktails (Aviation aka The Looking Glass & Old Fashioned aka the Oldhatter), Eat Me tags for the Donuts (in lieu of a cake to keep it whimsical), Drink Me tags for the champagne, and a whimsical set up for the escort cards. Each escort card was created out a playing card and then all of the escort cards were inserted into a bed of wheat grass accented with flowers."

Don't miss out on the amazing reception details coming up next, my dears!
