Welcome back, dolls! Erin Shimazu Photography took some super amazing portraits of our bride and groom and their wedding party. Today's Maharani looks super in her bridal lengha, and the detailed shot showing off her mehndi by Henna Dil Se is just beautiful. The groom is striking in his clean, white suit, and his entourage of groomsmen are smokin' in their traditional sherwanis. I'm loving the magenta bridesmaid's saris with their delicate, silver accents. Looks like everything is coming together in the fashion department for this memorable event. The proposal story:
"Eswari headed out that morning to meet her friend, Tana, for brunch at John O'Groats. However, when she arrived at the restaurant she found Vishal standing there with a mischevious smile and a table for two. Eswari began to suspect that Vishal was going to propose, but Vishal insisted that he just wanted to suprise her and take her out since she had a stressful week. Eswari, confused yet intrigued, played along and decided to see where this day would go.
After a delicious brunch, Vishal did not propose.... Instead, he asked Eswari to get in her car and meet him at the restaurant where his parents first met her. Shortly after, they both met at Ugo's in Culver City and spent the afternoon chatting over cocktails. After they got the check, he asked Eswari to hop in her car and meet him on the corner of Westwood and Pico. Eswari, still confused, found herself at Guitar Center where Vishal bought her a keyboard stand that he had promised to get her over a year ago so she could play his keyboard. Touched by the gesture, Eswari decided that Vishal had set up this whole day just for the keyboard stand and wasn't going to propose after all.
However, the day wasn't quite done yet. Vishal had been telling Eswari all day that he was planning to cook a nice dinner at home later that night, and that it would be fun to grab dessert before hand. So they got in the car, but Vishal wouldn't tell Eswari where they were headed for dessert. They pulled up to Sarah the Wine Bar, one of Eswari's favorite restaurants, but the sign said it was closed. Eswari was fixated on the fact that the restaurant was closed and Vishal had to force her to go inside only to find a table all set with a beautiful arrangement of flowers. Before Eswari could comprehend what was going on, Vishal dropped on one knee and proposed!"
