Somerset, NJ Indian Wedding by Joseph Minasi Weddings

We love ourselves a Bridal Arts and Events planned wedding, and this one captured by Joie Elie Photography & Cinematography was one of our favorites from 2014! We just fell in love with the mandap and the floral and decor work by Elegant Affairs Inc. at the The Palace at Somerset Park. Lucky for us, Joseph Minasi Weddings documented it all on film! Now we can really get to know the newlyweds — and if you're like us, you'll fall for them pretty fast. The bride is made up beautifully by SV Bridal Concepts by Sanjana Vaswani. Her hair and makeup, both for the ceremony and the reception, are absolutely marvelous, and she looks like a million bucks. After she and the Raja of her dreams exchanged their vows under (as previously mentioned) one of the most spectacular mandaps ever, it was party time. This highlight reel actually opens up with the groom giving a heartwarming speech that'll have you reaching for your phone to call mom and dad just to say "Thanks, I love you.". After a catered feast by Moghul Caterers, the spellbounding duo celebrate in true style among friends and family with the help of DJUSA, who was in attendance to make sure this was an affair to really remember.

We still have one more amazing film on the way. Don't miss out!

Dearborn, MI Indian Wedding by Ravin Bhandari Photography

Welcome back, my loves! Now that Jaya & Vivek are newlyweds, all that's left to do is see how they celebrate their nuptials at their regal reception, courtesy of Ravin Bhandari Photography. The handsome couple make their entrance, at the The Adoba Ecotel ballroom, in style. The Maharani has on a stunning magenta & cream lengha by Frontier Raas, which I hear was the chosen one after hours of trying on countless others. Her Maharaja looks quite dapper in his black tux. I must say they look incredibly elegant on the dance floor as they perform their first dance as man & wife. Guests enjoyed the catering goodness of Ashoka Indian Cuisine & for dessert, that oh-so-creative wedding cake by Cakes by Stephanie. I hear DJ Kucha had the couple & the guests dancing until the wee hours of the night. To see this event, from beginning to end, visit the gallery!

From the bride, on the first dance:

"We both loved the song and lyrics to "Mirrors" by Justin Timberlake, but wanted to add a Bollywood touch. So we chose segments from "Mirrors" and "Tumhi Dekho Na" from "Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna," and my super talented sister edited the music to give the perfect touch!"

On special moments:

"It is difficult to think of just one special moment. We enjoyed every single moment of the wedding weekend. Several of my friends and family members warned me that you might be tired, overwhelmed, or stressed out by various details of the wedding. I am so grateful to have had supportive family, friends, and wedding coordinators that handled all of the "last minute stuff." We mingled, we smiled and we truly danced the night(s) away! Looking back, we could sense that all of our family, friends, and guests really enjoyed themselves and were truly happy. We couldn't have asked for anything more than that."

That is awesome. See ya next time, girlies!

Fort Lauderdale, FL Indian-Chinese Fusion Wedding by Nami Dadlani Photography

Welcome back, gals! I love pre-wedding & pre-reception portrait sessions, and luckily, these lovebirds partake in both, courtesy of Nami Dadlani Photography Studio! Take a look at the dynamic duo just before their Indian-Chinese fusion ceremony in Florida. They are stylin' in their ceremony & reception fashion outfits! Maharani Ruby looks lovely in her purple and gold sari as does her Maharaja in his cream sherwani. I am even more dazzled by their reception getups. Ruby looks sensational in a lemon chiffon cheongsam that she wore in honor of Vinh's family and culture. How incredibly thoughtful, right ladies?! Her handsome new hubby is looking quite sharp in his grey suit along with a pale yellow tie that matches his wife's gorgeous gown. I do love it when a couple coordinates their fashion! Can't get enough of this couple? See even more perfect outdoor portraits in the gallery!

From the bride, on the wedding style:

"We put our priorities in life into our wedding-- happiness in us, our families and close friends. We basically rented out a big house that would fit our families and we all stayed together for a big week long party. We tried to eliminate the frills and made it just about us. It was small and intimate and a great memory for us all to take away."

On the favorite part of planning:

"Surprises for my groom-- gifts highlighting the sweet things he has done for me over the years, and tributes to his Chinese culture (including a surprise dragon on our wedding cake, which was an ongoing joke between us)."

On family and friends helping:

"Everyone that attended helped in some way."

Portraits of this cute couple are coming right up!

Fort Lauderdale, FL Indian-Chinese Fusion Wedding by Nami Dadlani Photography

Let’s take a trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a wonderful Indian-Chinese fusion wedding by Nami Dadlani Photography Studio. Dressed in a precious purple and gold wedding sari, Maharani Ruby, is beautiful in her loose up-do and natural makeup by Maria Lorena and mehndi by The Henna Company Miami. Her bronze glow looks as if she just stepped off the beaches of Saint-Tropez, and nothing makes a bolder bridal statement than bright gold jewels. Don't move a muscle because soon I will uncover more from this memorable day, which is flawlessly coordinated by Pawar Inc. and deliciously catered by Madras Catering + Event Production! From the bride, on how she met her Prince Charming:

"We met at one of the most unsuspecting places - at the hospital where we work. We became best friends quickly. I realized I couldn't do without him and vice versa."

On the proposal:

"He proposed on the beach, which is where we went on our first real date. It's hard not to fall in love and realize true love in such a romantic spot with your soul mate."

On the bridal fashions:

"I wore a wedding sari that I picked out when I was with my mom and cousin in [New] Delhi. For our reception, I wore a cheongsam to honor my husband's family and as a surprise to them."

On the hair style & wedding jewelry:

"I knew I wanted an updo with some pizzazz. My wedding jewelry came from my mom and dad. These were pieces hand-picked by them and some were passed on through the family. I was so happy to wear them."

Ceremony shots are next!
