Dallas, Texas Indian Wedding by MnM Photography

Talk about a trifecta celebration filled with grandiose details! Maharani Ankita and Vikas's splendid soiree has just begun and I have all the beautiful images available to share with you all. Jignasa Patel of K.I. Weddings is triumphant with planning larger than life Indian weddings and always manages to blow me away from the creativity of their work. The morning started with our bride getting dolled up for her wedding ceremony and with the talented work of Samira's Henna Designs, the outcome was stunningly sensational. The bride channeled the appearance of a Rajasthani bride with a shiny matha patti and gleaming nath in her nose. Hair was kept neat in an ebullient bun decorated with fresh flowers. As the bride got ready, DJ Riz Entertainment led the baraat ceremony alongside a majestic horse from Happy Trails Carriage Service. The baraat truly made an outstanding appearance shining with Bollywood flair. The images tucked away in the gallery shot by MnM Photography helps me a picture a love tale that is truly one for the ages!

Herndon, Virginia Indian Wedding by Akbar Sayed Photography

We are unveiling the colorful day of Abi and Varun! The vibrant sangeet added some bold colors to the wedding celebrations held at The Woodlands at Algonkian, the elegant event space was beautifully decorated with bright drapery and charming multi-colored umbrellas as centerpieces designed by the talented décor team of DMV DECOR. To complement the fantastic décor and ambiance, the bride and groom sat in a charming jhula where they observed the fabulous choreographies of their loved ones.  Extravagant Affairs took care of every detail and executed perfectly every wish of the bride and groom for their pre-wedding festivity. To dance along the sounds of India, the beautiful Abi chose a lively yellow outfit finished off with a side swept hairstyle and added a touch of romance with small flowers between strands. Columbus, OH Indian Wedding by SIA Digital Studio

Puja and Amey’s first public appearance as a married couple took place right after their marriage ceremony at the Hilton Columbus at Easton whose brilliant planning staff ensured the day was the most unforgettable with all the events going without a hitch. Short North Piece of Cake created a fantastic watercolor wedding cake that resembles a vibrant painting. To follow the same ceremony décor theme, Kelly Karsten Florals provided all the palm leaves and multicolor flowers that combined with B3 Event Management’s jaw-dropping stage and created the perfect ambiance for the newlyweds! Illuminated by floating candles, Puja and Amey were photographed by SIA Digital Studio, the photo team captured the couple’s best poses wearing their fabulous reception outfits. I’m especially loving Puja’s selection for her big party, her unique choli design was a true statement and helped her steal the limelight! Take a look at our favorite moments of this incredibly beautiful love story in our full gallery.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met my groom through online dating. I knew he was the one when we couldn’t stop talking to each other. We would text 24/7 and could talk about literally anything without getting bored!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
The proposal was such a surprise! I was out to brunch with a friend and when I came back to the apartment, there were candles and rose petals all over. After he proposed, he surprised me with a video of all my family & closest friends sharing their congrats. We spent the rest of the day celebrating with our friends. It was perfect!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Planning an Indian wedding is always stressful based on the number of events there are but everything turned out perfect! Since I work in the creative industry and already had a vision for how I wanted everything to look, it didn’t take me long to find vendors who could make it all come to life. I wanted a jewel tones decor & floral theme that was unique from what other people have done. I also wanted palm trees running down the aisle which turned out amazing! The most important details for me were the food and the DJ- which both turned out amazing!!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
All of my dresses came from India and I wanted colors that would coordinate well with my decor for photos. I chose burgundy and gold for my wedding outfit & my groom's and navy for the wedding party. Although I loved my wedding outfits, my favorites were my Sangeet and reception dresses. My Sangeet dress was a pink floral lehenga from Mahima Mahajan and my reception dress was custom made from Gaurav Gupta.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable parts of planning for me were the small creative details that really made our wedding special and unique. We made a giant movie poster backdrop & banners with our photos on them for the reception, funny Snapchat filters, creative signature cocktail signs, custom place cards, fun bridal party gifts, etc. that really helped set our wedding apart. (all from The Girl in Tulle)

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Based on what our friends and family have told us, everyone especially loved the food at all the events and how smooth and organized the entire weekend was. Everything was perfectly on time and all the dances and speeches were fun and ran pretty quickly!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The most memorable moment of the wedding for me was walking down the aisle with my dad. It was so surreal seeing all my family and friends in the same room and it made everything finally feel real. I also loved the reception after party we had. My sister planned for a huge buffet of food for everyone (including chips & queso- my favorite) and it was so much fun just relaxing and being able to hang out with all our family and friends.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
My favorite decor for the weekend was the Sangeet. My decorator and I had spent the least time discussing it but it turned out so amazing and we even had a bike trolley to take photos with. We also had dances and singers perform at the Sangeet which was so much fun! I also loved our reception cake. I had found the exact cake I wanted on Pinterest & Short North Piece of Cake was able to duplicate it exactly!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Don’t stress about the planning! Have fun with it and let the little things go because you won’t even notice them on the day of and everything will turn out great!

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
I absolutely loved the venue we used. (Hilton Easton). The guests loved how they could walk to so many restaurants, shopping, etc. and we had so much fun working with our contact. (Karen)

Columbus, OH Indian Wedding by SIA Digital Studio

Welcome back to all the glory of Puja and Amey’s wedding. The bride’s beauty regime was accompanied by the charming bridal party who helped the bride prepare her special look. She opted for a maroon bridal lehenga with heavy embroidery work and an awesome bridal jewelry design she exclusively revealed to her soon-to-be-husband before the ceremony in an intimate first look moment at the aisle! Kelly Karsten Florals infused the ceremony with a summer vibe, adding the prettiest palm leaves and colorful blooms to the wonderful mandap stage designed by B3 Event Management. The ceremony took place at the Hilton Columbus at Easton where the enchanting rituals and blessings were beautifully preserved by SIA Digital Studio in a very well capture sequence of images that shows us how these two became husband and wife! Don’t miss any detail and see the beautiful pictures of the lovely union in our full gallery!
