Welcome back lovebirds! We’ve finally reached Manjit and Gurdeep’s reception celebration, and have no doubt that memories of this stunning day will be forever etched in the couple’s heart. The bride changed out of her classic red lehenga for a breezy and fresh mint green gown that fit her like a glove. Raindrops On Roses Event Planners returned as the duo’s incredible wedding coordinator, and executed an aviation themed reception event that was a sight to behold! DNM Events was the premier decorator of the reception ballroom at the Infinity Event Center and romantic euphoria took center stage with crystal centerpieces, celestial inspired uplighting, and tons of golden ornamentation, including a lavish jhoola swing and pillars adorning the sweetheart stage. The stunning newlyweds kicked off the night with a romantic first dance under the mesmerizing blue lights. Guests were delighted at the decadent bites, including the towering, mouthwatering cake by Astonishing Cakes. Soon it was time for guests to dance the night away, led by Manjit and Gurdeep, who are both incredible dancers! An abundance of love and laughter rang into the early morning hours as the newlyweds and their guests had the time of their lives. Kokoro Photography captured all the joyous moments that you can relive in our full gallery.

Welcome back to Manjit and Gurdeep’s Sikh wedding bash at the Sikh Temple of Colorado, where guests eagerly waited for the gorgeous couple to make their grand entrance. The venue was draped in rich reds and golds and we couldn’t imagine a more serene place to get married. Manjit took her guests’ breath away as she gracefully floated to the altar in her mesmerizing red lehenga and sparkling jewels. The ceremony was officiated by a Pandit who orchestrated the proceedings as the bride and groom sealed their love in traditional bliss. After the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds parted ways with guests as Kokoro Photography captured some precious shots of the duo being sent off by all their loved ones. When we return, we’ll dive into Manjit and Gurdeep’s dreamy reception gala at the Infinity Event Center. It’s obvious that the couple, their incredible planners from Raindrops On Roses Event Planners, and decorators from DNM Events, put so much care and love into executing this event. Check out the full gallery by Kokoro Photography for more from this charming duo’s special weekend!
The dazzling reception coming right up!
Happy Friday lovelies! We’re here to provide you all with your daily dose of beautiful Maharani inspo, and we’re excited to share all the magical deets of Manjit and Gurdeep’s Sikh wedding extravaganza. Before we get into all the event details planned to perfection by Raindrops On Roses Event Planners, we join Manjit as she prepares for the most important day of her life. She decided upon a vibrant red lehenga with a scoop neck blouse and heavy embellishments. She looked like the epitome of a classic South Asian bride, and was adorned with the most incredible accessories, including swirling henna and sparkling jewels from head to toe. Topping off her perfect bridal look was her shimmering dupatta. As she secured the rich piece of fabric in place, she was 100% ready for her anticipated walk down the aisle. We simply adore this look! Her handsome beau Gurdeep agreed with us wholeheartedly, and their first look overlooking colorful murals was positively swoon worthy. We love how their bold Indian fashions intermingled in such a visually stunning way with the vibrant street art. Kokoro Photography was right by the couple’s side as they captured all their first look memories. You can peruse all the playful pics in the full gallery. Next, we’ll dive into the beautiful wedding events planned by the talents at Raindrops On Roses Event Planners and decorated by DNM Events. And make sure to scroll below as the bride dishes out the deets on her wedding below!
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Met on Dil Mil website. Felt a strong emotional connection with each other, after 8 months, knew he was the one, when being ourselves with each other and being able to relate to one another.
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We had a wedding planner who helped us out tremendously with coordinating with venues, planning and decorating. We did our shopping in india. I brought my makeup and hair person from Philly to CO, and videographer as well. Everyone involved in the planning of the wedding worked together effectively.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I wanted red for the wedding, as traditional. I always wanted to wear red for my wedding day. For my reception, I wanted to wear mint green, more like a summer color since the wedding was in July.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Family togetherness, picking what we liked, cake tasting, picking out colors, choosing food. To make sure everything went smoothly, I would say having a wedding planner (due to the large number of guests and events) was very important as well.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Everything was taken care of, no one had to worry. Just how great the wedding and reception was, including the decorations and venues.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
I would say, after the ceremony: me and my hubby looked each other and smiled. Also, at the reception we saw our same day edit video in front of our family and friends, it was very special to us.
For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
A lot of performances by family and friends that meant a lot to us. My hubby' s brother is no longer with us, everything that was done for us at the wedding and reception was for him. He would have been so proud of what we accomplished with planning. A lot emotions during the wedding, sad and happy moments.
Thank you for sharing Manjit! Ceremony deets coming right up!
Aneri and Christopher’s reception bash can be best described as a mesmerizing blend of deep-rooted Indian and Chinese traditions. The bride was a marvel in a sweeping blue and gold lengha with a sparkling beauty look created by Karishma Beauty. Aneri’s hair flowed in seductive waves, accompanied by sultry eyes and rosy cheeks. What a beauty! The reception party at the Westin South Coast Plaza was festooned with blush and gold accents designed by the talents at Deepti's Floral Designs & Mandaps. The sweetheart stage was decorated with enormous golden frames, soft clouds of florals, and glimmering chandeliers, which created the most romantic atmosphere. After a meaningful Tea Ceremony, the traditions continued with a reception program containing lion dancers and Bollywood performances. And with Special Occasions at the turntables, you know the dance party was nonstop! Head into the full gallery created by Aaroneye Photography for your fix of this incredible wedding.
Have an amazing day Maharanis!
