When Meena and Aakash began planning their multiple day festivities, they assembled an incredible team of vendors to bring their dreams to life. The duo brought on Nirali Decor to take care of all the details, and they returned to the Grand Ballroom at the Westin Governor Morris - Morristown to celebrate their reception soiree. The spacious quarters shined brightly with shades of blue, highlighted with shimmering candles and chandeliers. So mesmerizing. Every image captured by Ishan Fotografi left our jaws on the floor with delight. One of our favorite decor elements included the sweeping sweetheart stage which featured a wall of candles and a royal white chaise. DJ Sagar Shah ensured that the venue was bathed in euphoric beats with dreamy blue luminescence. One of the most memorable moments of the night was the cake cutting ceremony, with a mod, geometric confection baked specially for the couple by Palermo's Bakery. We wish we could sneak a bite of this delectable creation. After cake, guests danced to their hearts’ delight to the pulsating sounds of Bollywood + Top 40 beats. We’re so excited that we’ve arrived at Meena and Aakash’s wedding ceremony! The event included the gorgeous Westin Governor Morris - Morristown, beautiful gardens, vibrant bridal garb, and of course, a stunning couple. Arfana Jasar showed up with their beauty squad to transform the bride into a total goddess with pink lips and glittering lids. Meena shared her big day with her bridesmaids, who were as pretty as could be in mint saris. After a bouncing baraat, Aakash was overwhelmed with anticipation and couldn’t wait to catch a glimpse of his gorgeous bride. The indoor ballroom of  The Westin Governor Morris - Morristown was bathed in the most delicious pink florals and draping thanks to the creative direction of the design team from Nirali Decor. Such utterly romantic ambiance. Pair that with a buzzing audience and so in love couple, and you have one special bash! The duo were married under a lush floral mandap, and after they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs., they bounded from the stage with the most dazzling smiles! So sweet. Morning Maharanis! Today, Ishan Fotografi brings viewers a visual treat that has us reveling in every fine detail of this Nirali Decor designed event that will leave you breathless. Maharani Meena is such a chic lady, and each of her ensembles reflected her deep rooted Indian heritage mixed with high octane, red carpet glam. The morning of her wedding ceremony, the bride called upon the best and the brightest in the makeup biz to glam her up for the big day. The artists from Arfana Jasar dazzled Meena up, with a sleek updo (featuring a few sultry, loose pieces!) and sparkling eyes. The bride opted for a traditional silk sari, but it contained a twist of glitz due to the intricate embroidery and hot pink hue. She really stood out in this bold look! We adore when bridesmaids help the bride get ready, and we could feel the love in the room as Meena was surrounded by all her fave ladies during the primp session. And of course, one of the best traditions at a wedding is the first look, and this one was remarkable! As Meena and Aakash met outdoors surrounded by lush green foliage and pink blooms, they embraced each other with such warmth. We’re swooning at their adorable chemistry. After being bathed in royalty by Glam by Mevi it was loose curls and soft, glowing skin that reigned supreme for Kamaljit and Vick. The Diplomat Resort & Spa was full to the brim with gorgeousness by Suhaag Garden who transformed the spacious quarters with the most elegance ambiance. This dynamic team knew exactly what they were in for when they designed this blockbuster Indian reception. Think romantic candles, romantic lighting, and some delish eats catered in-house. Guests were left happy and stuffed! We are still impressed with this self planned by the bride herself! From the decor, to the eats, and right down to this magnificent party; this is some true talent! Guests were whipping up seconds from the catering by The Diplomat Resort & Spa.  In our gallery we have some jaw dropping images by Gaciel Santana Photography who also helmed all the live action.

There are so many layers of this self planned wedding by the bride that we cannot get over the gorgeousness! The soft breeze of the ocean, amazing outfits, and being surrounded by your family is seriously the best way to get married. Ever. We love all the elements of an Indian wedding, but for me personally, fun in the sun is the perfect kind. I get so excited when I see a beach side wedding event! There is something about the toes in the sand feeling that sets the course for the rest of the day. Kamaljit was picture perfect after being dolled up by Glam by Mevi. Kamaljit slipped into a flowing white wedding dress with lengha inspired elements with sliver beading and a sweeping skirt. Vick was looking dapper as ever in a color coordinated suit with a tie that matched the bride's bouquet magnificently! The couple was left with a shower of petals after their nuptials!  We have all the wonderful photos in our gallery captured by Gaciel Santana Photography!
