There is nothing quite like being wed outdoors in sunny California with a celebration planned and designed by The Marigold Company. Pair that with the ambiance of a bustling Indian wedding and you are in for a visual treat. Dolled Up by Lulu brought her overflowing makeup bag to glam up the bride. Blood red lips, rosy cheeks, and perfectly arched eyebrows set the bride up for her big entrance to the Newport Beach Marriott. There is no doubt in my mind that spectators had their cameras out and ready as Amam’s baraat aboard a Baraat-Mobile led by 3D Sounds. Yes, I said it. The groom showed up channeling his inner Bruce Wayne in a black Bat Mobile that guests won't soon forget. Under the swaying of palm trees, and an open air mandap designed by Kumba & Entertainment, Payal and Amam became one. There is no shortage of the amount of love and effort that our Platinum Guide Members put into making a Maharani’s dream wedding come true. Today’s wedding was mastered by Vidhi Kshatriya of The Marigold Company and believe us when we say that it is truly in the details! Lately, we have been blown away by the amount of creativity and thought that both the bride and groom put into their big day. This feature celebrates the undying love of Payal and Amam and everything from the pre-ceremony events right down to the last person on the dance floor. The mehndi ceremony was kicked off at a nearby  local  restaurant where the bride stood out in a purple floral headwrap and a shimmering fuchsia lengha. The ceremony mixed in modern day romance with deep Indian traditions. The festivities also included a festive turmeric ceremony and garba night. I love how Payal’s style shines through the screens. She looked lovely in a gorgeous deep mustard lengha and then flipped the script in a mint green chuniya choli which was the perfect wedding attire for a night of dancing! It is no wonder that Dolled Up by Lulu was there each step of the way to glam this bride up!  Payal took it upon herself to rehearse a choreographed dance in front of her loved ones and each spin of her lengha exuded elegance. For Maharani Nima and Deven it was all about the details. From a festive pithi ceremony, to a camel led baraat, this bride and groom knew that by bringing on planning and design team Bridal and Event Lounge they were in for an event to remember. Beauty by NG Nida Gazi arrived bright and early with all her makeup goodies to transform this bride into a goddess. Wavy locks, shimmering eyelids, and dazzling jewelry completed this bride’s look. For her bridal attire, the bride went with a sweeping, floor length blue and gold anarkali. I have to give it Nima and her eye from style. This girl knew what she was doing as she perused the fashion selection at Aishwarya. Nima’s entry way into the venue was one for the books! As the entrance song came on, the "NFL Theme Song". Nima threw an imaginary football to Deven, caught it just like Dez Bryant (which are his same initials!). As you can imagine, the venue was decked in blue and silver by Unique Flowers and Mandaps. The bride and groom slipped out of the venue to take a moment to themselves and to enjoy the amazing catering dinner provided by Manohar’s Delhi Palace. This is the perfect addition to your big reception! To be able to enjoy your meal and catch your breath is something all brides and grooms should do! Inside the venue 3D Sounds was bumping the music and guests danced the night away. Once Nima’s pre-ceremony events commenced, it was time for her big reveal at the Marriott Marquis in San Diego. Nima looked absolutely stunning in a red and gold lengha that channeled her inner Maharani. Rajasthan inspired jewelry took full force in tones of gold and bright red lipcolor was the perfect compliment. Beauty by NG Nida Gazi created the ultimate masterpiece! Deven brought his baraat into the venue with full force perched up on a majestic camel! We have seen elephants and horses, but this a first for me! The baraat ceremony also included a majestic carriage ride with Enchanted Carriages. The bride was whisked away down the aisle as guests gazed adoringly at this gorgeous bride. An open air mandap designed by Indera Kanjee of Unique Flowers and Mandaps sat towering against the sparkling blue skies and guests were blown away by both the detail and design. Brides, take note! Open air mandaps are all the rage right now. Topped with colorful floral and planked on four ivory wrought pillars brought the sophistication up a notch. Bridal and Event Lounge  created the most unique blueprint in planning and designing the series of events. Aaroneye Photography has captured the perfect set of images just waiting on you in the gallery.

Attention Maharanis! Today’s wedding celebration will leave you with loads of wedding inspo and ideas, so grab a beverage of your choice and your glitter studded notepad as we unveil the details of what truly makes a dream wedding come about. As we all know, it is all about family!  When Nima started planning her big day nearly one year in the making, she knew that she would need some assistance in the planning and design sector other than her loved ones. Who else but Bridal and Event Lounge would be perfect for the task? The duo began building their dream team for the multi day celebration. The first adventure on this trip in one of California’s most coveted cities was the mehndi ceremony with Wardah of Henna Trendz. I absolutely love how Nima’s mehndi designs turned out! The next day guests headed out to the festive sangeet/pithi ceremony at the Marriott Mission Valley. The bride was pretty in pink in a multifaceted sari complete with a floral headband to tow. For her garba night the bride slipped into a green and orange chuniya choli perfect for dancing! Did you catch all those dress changes! Whew!
