We promised you an over the top wedding affair that hardly lands on our editorial desks and today we are going to deliver! Not everyone can attend a destination wedding, but when you bring the beach life to your guests, you become bride of the year! Dipa knew that she wanted a theme that was both different and intimate, and basking in the ambiance of sea mammals was the perfect way to express her love to Raj. The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the western hemisphere and is home to thousands of species of mammals. Now the auspicious venue could mark off hosting a major Bollywood event right in their tunnel walls! The bride got ready for her big day with a sweeping updo that only Gunn Glamour Hair Makeup and Bridal could create with Makeup by Prii embellishing the bride in a romantic glow. Not a single detail was spared in this wedding including the gorgeous bridal attire that channeled a Rajasthani princess. All white with hints of red, green and gold was the ultimate in show stopping beauty! Abhilasha Events placed a regal white mandap right in front of a large window and while the bride and groom exchanged their vows, even the whales got to witness this ceremony! Happy Valentine’s Day Maharanis! We hope that you are lavished with endless amounts of love today and with our upcoming feature, you are going to be blown away! Before we dive into the wedding and reception details, we have the auspicious pre-wedding ceremony to disclose. The couple hosted both a mehndi and sangeet night that was full of vibrant colors and decor. Gunn Glamour Hair Makeup and Bridal was on hand to bestoon the bride with stylish hairdos that were kept fuss free as our Maharani enjoyed her celebration. Guests danced the night away in colorful Indian garb and we counted Dipa changing into multiple outfits for her pre-wedding fun. We have arrived to the last feature of the day celebrating Maharani Jignya and Pranav and totally sad it has come to an end! We love exploring new worlds and lands vicariously through our brides and this destination wedding did not disappoint. The color choice palette of this bride was right in line with the beachy theme in tones of coral blue and silver. Styling Trio was brought back for beauty duties and the bride opted for a more relaxed look with hair swept up and tucked neatly against a silver beaded tiara. Latin Asia knew that minimal decor was required for an extravagant event beach side. Earthy tones and the beach vibe of the Mexican waters made up the major elements transformed Moon Palace into a passionate and eclectic haven. The venue is the perfect location for an Indian wedding as in house chefs prepared fresh and local cuisine that tantalized everyone’s taste buds. The night ended with fun and laughter with a packed dance floor led by DJ ALX. I always have an admiration for the bold brides that settle on a destination wedding. As we all know, Indian weddings require work! There is so much planning, venue searching and an overabundance of family members to tend to that at times, the task can become downright daunting. Enter in a travel concierge service that not only helps you plan your big day, but knows the destination in mind inside and out. Maharani Jignya brought on Indian Destination Weddings to help spearhead her Indian wedding in Mexico at the Moon Palace Resort. On the morning of her wedding, Styling Trio arrived bright and early to tend to bridal makeup duties. I love non traditional bridal attire but, every so often I fall in love with a red and gold bridal lengha that is just so unique! I loved Jignya’s choice of bridal garb and the pattern sequence embedded throughout the luxurious silk. Pair that with a trailing, see through dupatta and this bride just embodied luxury. The baraat ceremony was held beach side with Pranav leading the crowd to the waterside mandap on a regal horse. The night ended with a fistful of photos captured by Sascha Gluck with Mike Cantarell Films getting in on the live action. Head into the gallery where a lot more destination galore awaits.

Today Maharani Weddings is taking you to Mexico to celebrate one of the most unique celebrations to land on our desks. When Maharani Jignya planned her special getaway with travel concierge Indian Destination Weddings she knew that she wanted an over the top celebration that she could share with her closest family and friends. However, this Maharani had some big plans for her guests that started even before the wedding and reception even began. As guests arrived to the Moon Palace, they were whisked away for a private excursion on a boat! Sipping cocktails on the Mexican waters seems like the proper way to start the festivities! An open bar and appetizers never hurt either. This sunset cruise was one for the books as guests took some amazing shots embracing the wedding hashtag #Meethesharmas. After the cruise, guests were guided to the Moon Palace resort for a late night dinner. This meet and greet was also an excellent way for both families to meet each other before the big day! The next night guests celebrated with a colorful sangeet night where guests exchanged their shorts for saris and danced the night away to Bollywood beats.  There is truly something oh so special about extending your family and beach side drinks most certainly help.
