There is nothing quite like the gorgeous beaches of Goa. Now thanks to stellar wedding planners, venues and photographers, those of us that are not fortunate enough to view an Indian wedding in Goa, are able to relieve those magical moments without ever leaving the comfort of our own home. When Maharani Karen and her groom Kevin started their wedding planning process, their search landed them to Bay 15 for their wedding reception. With unsurpassed views of the ocean and open air seating, it is no wonder that the couple didn’t have to venture for some amazing stills. As the bride and groom made their way around their reception venue, guests trickled into the party with the lively sounds of Forefront. The couple iconized their own personal wedding quote of “In high tide or in low tide, I’ll be by your side” in a strategically placed plaque, setting off the motion of events of the night. Sunny beaches, sea food at every corner and the salty ocean breeze is what makes Goa the most perfect location for a romantic Indian wedding. When Maharani Karen chose Goa for her idealistic wedding location, her guests were in for a real treat! After all, who wouldn’t love going to India to celebrate such an auspicious occasion? The bride got ready with her closest gal pals and chose designer Niki Shah Designs to outfit both her and her special ladies for the big day. For the Christian ceremony, the bride wore a sweeping white dress with scattered silver sequins topped with a flowing, lace veil. Concluding Maharani Priya and Kannan’s wedding extravaganza has me a bit sad. PhotosMadeEz captured the essence of Indian weddings and Tum Hi Ho Ho Events, LLC organized one of the most gorgeous weddings coming out of Jersey. For her reception, Priya switched up the sultry hot switch and let Makeup by Anita work her magic. Long flocks, cat eyes and the return of that gorgeous, rosy lip color took center stage. For her reception garb, the bride opted for an unconfined champagne gold and blue floor length anarkali. The bride and groom took it outdoors at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson for an intimate photo session (that would later include fireworks!). The spacious ballroom that held the grand event was glittering with purple and gold decor by Mandaps by Dhoom. Guests dined on fine cuisine from Bukhara Grill and savored wedding cake baked at the infamous Carlo’s Bakery. The night ended dancing to famous Bollywood hits by the stellar DJ’s of DJ USA. Maharani Priya and Kannan wed in the enchanting ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson. The couple held their traditional Indian wedding ceremony under a custom made mandap by Mandaps by Dhoom. The venue was festooned with shades of red and gold decor that casted the most ambiance like romantic glow. Supreme wedding planners Tum Hi Ho Events, LLC. organized the most amazing set of wedding events that any Maharani can appreciate! East meets west in today’s enchanting tale out of the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson. Maharani Priya celebrated a week of events which included a festive mehndi night with henna master Mehndikalogie and an extravagant sangeet on Prestige Charters. On the morning of her wedding day, she was up bright and ready to finally prepare for the big day with makeup guru Anita Shah of Makeup by Anita. The bride was just glowing, no doubt by the magic hands of Anita! Bold eyes, crimson red lips and a smoldering maang tikka set the foundation for this bride. Our favorite element of Priya’s bridal appearance was the perfect balance of gold jewelry to accompany her vibrant red and gold lengha.
