Scottsdale, AZ Gujurati Wedding by Vellora Productions

Hello there, sweeties! Are you ready for a big, elegant, and colorful celebration? We know you are, so get ready to dive into Khushboo & Hamil's wedding, as it was a cornucopia of beauty and traditional flair! This beautiful and romantic celebration, thoroughly planned and designed by Urvashi Mishra, began with a Sangeet Event held in their hometown at the Pearl Banquets & Conference Center, where they did not have as tight of a guest list, and their dog could attend this event as he could not come to Arizona. Khushboo wore a colorful lengha from Seema GujralNihal Singh Live Dholi and Areu Blue enlivened this incredible Sangeet. Everyone had a great time! As for the wedding, it was simple and elegant thanks to the astonishing decor crafted by Bloom and Blueprint and VP impressions. The Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa At Gainey Ranch was the venue of their choice as it had everything the bride and groom wanted mountains, water, palm trees, and a golf course. Khushboo stole the show walking down the aisle dressed in a red lengha from Falguni Shane Peacock and Studio East6 and looking like a goddess thanks to the exquisite makeup and hairstyle designed by Makiaj Beauty. And let's not forget the unique and creative Henna artwork by Henna by Purvi. The ability to create custom designs on the spot was an unforgettable experience for this Maharani. If you loved these ceremonies as much as we did, you would be thrilled to know that we were invited to the reception party where DJ Chat from DJ Sunny Entertainment fired up the dancefloor playing the best Bollywood hits that put everyone on their feet! This beautiful invitation we just received was designed and crafted by the talented team at The Royal Collection, who are well-known for their unique and delicate designs. Their goal was to create invitations that perfectly and elegantly encapsulated the theme of this wedding. If you can't get enough of this lovely couple, you might want to spend extra time admiring today's jaw-dropping gallery by the incredible Vellora Productions. Amazing! We know you will love it and get tons of inspiring ideas. You will not regret it!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Khushboo and Hamil's love story began at a family friend's 50th birthday celebration. Despite having crossed paths before, it wasn't until they found themselves among the guests at Hamil's father's milestone birthday celebration that they truly connected. The two spent the entire night in intimate conversation, bonding over their shared love of travel, food, and their British heritage. They soon went on their first date at Khushboos favorite Ramen restaurant and the rest, as they say, is history.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Their romance continued to flourish as they explored the world and shared new experiences together. And it was during a surprise engagement trip to the mountains of Colorado with Khushboo's closest friends and Hamil's family that Hamil popped the question. After a few days of indulging in the finest amenities, they returned home to a surprise engagement party planned by their families.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Excited to start planning their wedding, Khushboo and Hamil knew they wanted a destination wedding. After considering several locations, they finally settled on a beautiful resort in Arizona, a place they both loved and offered a breathtaking mountain and golf course backdrop for their outdoor wedding.
Their vendors and wedding planner helped them create a four-day wedding extravaganza that perfectly reflected their sophisticated tastes and interests. From the Cinco de Mayo tacos and tequila welcome party, to the color schemes and decor, every detail was thoughtfully curated to showcase the couple's impeccable style. And of course, their beloved Rottweiler, Dexter, was also incorporated into the festivities.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My mom ideally wanted me to go with a traditional red, I was a bit hesitant but wanted to make her happy so decided to look into red options in addition to lenghass that had some red in it. I knew I wanted to get my wedding lengha from a designer but was not planning to go to India. I was lucky enough to live close by to Studio East 6. An Indian couture fashion boutique that carries a majority of big name designers from India. I knew I didn't want anything with heavy sequence or beading on the lengha. It was during a Falguni Shane peacock trunk show hosted by studio east 6 that I found my dream red lengha. My mom was the one who found the lengha, it was the perfect color red and was filled with gold foil work. I knew I didn't want the lengha to have embroidery so when I saw the foil I knew it was the one. With the help of my mom, best friend and Studio east I was able to find my dream lengha.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Our wedding planner, Urvashi, made the entire wedding planning process so seamless, fun and easy. She thought about details we would have never dreamed of and gave us fun unique ideas based on our interests and personalty. The most enjoyable part would have had to be the site visit. We had a great time exploring the venue and trying all of the amazing food during the food tasting.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests raved about the food, decor and detail to planning through our entire weekend. Our Wedding planning, Urvashi Mishra, made sure the guests were taken care of from the moment our wedding started to the brunch before the left. Prior to the wedding she made suggestions that would make the weekend memorable for our guests. During the wedding weekend Urvashi and her team made sure that the weekend ran flawlessly. Everything ran on time, guests and family members were where they were suppose to be. From our first event to our last the guests were always raving about the food Crafted Cuisine had prepared. Chef Kaushik and his team made sure all the food was made fresh and in live stations. Finally the decor, VP impressesions went above and beyond to work with Bloom and Blueprint to make sure the entire wedding weekend represented us through and through. Each event's decor represented my husband and I to the fullest. Our guests were all brown away by the thought and consideration that went into all the decor.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The entire wedding weekend was incredibly special however, there are a few specific moments that play in my mind. At the sangeet we got to share our entrance with our dog Dexter! It was great having him physically be there for one event. Another moment at the wedding was when the brides mom surprised the couple with a live painter and a painting of them at the mandup. It's something the bride had always wanted but had cut due to budgeting. It was the perfect surprise for the couple to remember their perfect day.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
As specified, the decor represented the bride and grooms personalities and interests though and through. The sangeet was based around the grooms favorite color and all of the bride and grooms favorite foods. The Pithi was on what looked like a putting green. The welcome fiesta represented the couples love for Mexican food/culture/music whilst still representing their Indian roots. The wedding had mountains In the background like the bride wanted and was on a golf course and water like the groom wanted. The reception had a black and iridescent theme with a candy bar and cigar station which the couple loves. My bridesmaids preformed an amazing dance to the all the brides favorite songs and songs that represented the couple and their love story. The groomsmen preformed an attention grabbing dance that had all the guests clapping and dancing.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Make sure you enjoy every moment of the process. From initial planning, to the site visits and tastings to the actual wedding weekend. Time flies by faster than anyone can imagine and you really want to enjoy every moment of it.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
The wedding was filled with surprises for both the guests and the happy couple, including a surprise live painter, performances, and a cigar bar set up in a private lounge. It was a celebration that truly captured the love and personalities of Khushboo and Hamil, and left everyone feeling enchanted and inspired.

Our blog has exciting new details from upscale traditional weddings every day. Don't miss any!

Toronto, ON Ismaili Wedding by Samantha Ong Photography

Maharanis! A lovely Ismaili micro wedding is today's feature, and we are thrilled to unveil everything related to this intimate affair. Faisal proposed with a single red rose to Sheliza and whisked her off to a cooking class. How lovely is that? Then, the pandemic loomed again, so the Toronto-based couple had to plan their traditional wedding ceremony around only ten people! Despite the restrictions, Samantha Ong Photography captured the pair beautifully around the pedestrian-only Distillery District and at the picturesque Kew Gardens Park. The ceremony took place almost behind closed doors at Scarborough Ismaili Jamatkhana; however, this fantastic photo team captured truly magical and discreet photos from outside. How creative! Maharani Sheliza achieved an ethereal and pristine look by wearing a traditional white lehenga set designed with delicate embroidery work by Frontier Heritage and a pink sash. I love the sentiments behind each of the bride's jewelry pieces. Her gold necklace is a gift from her mother, her earrings were a childhood gift from her grandfather, and her wedding ring was crafted using diamonds from her mother's wedding ring! Despite having a small intimate ceremony, Sheliza and Faisal had extra love all around. They had many of their best friends by their side beforehand and during their photoshoots. The bride's entourage looked adorable, complimenting Sheliza in dazzling ensembles. They all held the prettiest bouquets with roses, sprays, and hydrangeas in a chic color palette provided by Berries and Blooms. At the same time, groomsmen matched Raja Faisal in stylish blue suits and brown shoes! They all took the Navy-blue suit look to the next level! The result of this day was an intimate, up close, and personal union, but above all, it was about the couple's happiness! Novi, MI Indian Wedding by Sky Films and Productions

Maharanis, thanks for stopping by! Today we wanted to share some of the most exciting details of Shivali and Valmik's wedding. This duo decided to make the best of it, creating a celebration full of unique and modern elements while honoring Indian traditions. Thanks to Utsav Planners,Inc. the wedding-planning process of this lovely union's many functions was a fun and seamless project. The expert team orchestrated the celebrations and produced the magnificent decor that festooned the main ceremony and reception. Flamboyant blue hues combined perfectly with the pearl white mandap structure while stunning florals enriched the grand  Suburban Show Place. This spot worked as a ceremony venue and later accommodated the couple's loved ones for a glamorous reception. You can never go wrong with a maroon lehenga for your wedding day! Shivali started her new life with an awe-inspiring bridal style wearing a royal maroon lehenga with exquisite embroidery work and keeping her long hair loose, adding some soft waves by Makeup By JHobby. Our newlyweds had a grand exit and enjoyed a carriage ride after exchanging vows. What a great send-off! The couple also had a regal reception entrance at the Suburban Show Place! They showed off their fun-romantic side, dancing to a curated crowd-pleasers playlist thanks to DJ Mixta, while a mouthwatering and well-designed cake was the sweet star of the night. Kudos to Utsav Planners,Inc. for bringing elegant shades, florals, and decorative finishing touches for the wedding's grand finale. It was an excellent culmination of this great union! Captured by acclaimed photographers Sky Films and Productions, this wedding's images will make you feel this union is out of a romantic Bollywood flick! Click on our gallery for a full glimpse.

Philadelphia, PA Indian Wedding by Studio KSD

Welcome to another fabulous wedding story, loves! Today we unveiled another masterpiece by the talented wedding storyteller Studio KSD. This time they delivered the beautiful highlight video of Nisha and Dhrumil's union. All the romance, the love, and the joy of two families coming together as one surrounded by pure elegance and translated into a magnificent visual testament. The Philly couple picked The Logan Philadelphia Curio Collection by Hilton to host their big days. With its sprawling spaces, it was just the ideal spot for these two to tie the knot in front of a big crowd of family and friends. The outdoor ceremony took place in the peaceful courtyard where the decor team of Florista Decor created a charming mandap with lush flowers and sprawling greenery. What a lovely location! Timeless and regal, Maharani Nisha looked like the ultimate Maharani! She was glammed by bridal expert Beauty by Kiran Kaur LLC and got the artistic Mehendi touch of Rita Shah Mehndi Artis on her hands and feet. She created a magnificent henna design worthy of a queen that perfectly matched her queenly ceremony lehenga choli set. For her last function, this stylish bride's reception trousseau expressed her lively personality. She opted for a shimmery, sparkly blue lehenga that was perfect for the starry night she was about to live! It was officially time to start the party, and Zac Clejan played his best notes for the couple's grand entrance to complement their big night while DJ Bobby set the tone for the crowd to packed the dancefloor! Thanks again to Studio KSD for creating such a gorgeous film for this pair. We found so much inspiration! Please click on the video below and enjoy each scene.
