Santa Susana, CA Indian Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

There are so many elements of Ronica and Raj's Indian wedding that I just absolutely adore. The bridal party to begin with, how charming does the brides maids look in their matching saris with the groomsmen looking dapper as ever in crushed orange sherwanis? The next element is location, location is key! The Hummingbird Nest Ranch was gyrating with the sounds of Raj's baraat led by a majestic horse from Enchanted Carriages as they arrived to meet the star of the day - Ronica. After being Dolled Up by Lulu, the bride walked down a truly enchanting masterpiece. The floral and décor team at 2Create Designs just gives me all the chills. Classy and timeless, the whimsical mandap covered in blooms with the backdrop of Cali is instantly one of my favorites to date! Behind the scenes was Vidhi Kshatriya of The Marigold Company. You won't want to miss a beat as Riamu Entertainment and Manohar's Delihi Palace present the wedding guests with two coveted aspects of an Indian wedding - the music and the eats! In the meantime, check out all the beauty down below with even more sumptuous memories in our gallery captured by Lin & Jirsa Photography

Santa Susana, CA Indian Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

Happy Monday, Maharanis! I have such a delightful treat to start your week right and one of my favorite photographers in Northern California has dropped me another Indian wedding to share with you all! Featuring an all-star Indian wedding dream team, Ronica and Raj spared no expense in their extravagant Indian wedding celebration. Speared and designed by Vidhi Kshatriya of The Marigold Company, Enchanted Carriages, Manohar's Delhi Palace, Riamu Entertainment, and 2 Create Designs all formed a team to create this stunning affair about to unfold before your eyes. Classy and luxurious are only the beginning of this fairy tale wedding. I like Ronica and the way her infectious vibe just shines on my screen! Donning a traditional red and gold lengha paired with a modern bouquet; this bride was 15 out of ten! The beauty magic of Dolled Up by Lulu is all too evident on this gorgeous Indian bride! My favorite beauty pics (including the first look!) can be found below so perfectly captured by Lin & Jirsa Photography with a sneak peek in our gallery

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Amar and I met at a summer camp known as Camp Mosaic. According to Amar, he fell in love with me when we sat down during a moment at camp exchanging jokes and laughing up a storm. For me, I fell in love with Amar during our 10 hour Facetime dates when we could talk about anything and everything and not get tired or bored with each other. That's when I realized this is the guy I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Amar proposed to me at Laguna Beach, where we had our first date. He had been planning the proposal for 6 months and I had no clue. I was at work early in the morning and got let out early because he called my boss to release me. Once I got home I got ready and my sisters, my best friend and I all got in a limo Amar had rented for the day for us. We were about 3 hours late to the proposal due to LA traffic, and once I got there he had a video set up for me to watch from all our friends with the sweetest messages ever. When he finally came out, he was wearing my dads favorite tie and he said, "your dad gave me his tie as his blessing and will only let me keep it if you say yes" That one line stole my heart and I couldn't be more excited to marry such an amazing and caring man. The best part was when my mom showed up because I had no idea she was there and the rooftop where we had our first date was filled with all our close friends and family cheering!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Hair and make up for my nikkah ceremony and reception was done by the amazing dreavmakeup. My reception themes were all different shades of purple and white!

Hair and makeup for my sangeet was done by Nida Gazi, my theme for the sangeet was Indian street themed with umbrellas as centerpieces, a decked out bike as a backdrop for pictures and a bangles cart and Indian street food to top it off.

My sangeet outfit was designed by me and made by Elan Atlanta courtesy of Salima Budhani.
My reception and Nikkah outfit was a custom outfit designed by me and came to life thanks to the owner of Yasmin Boutique, Kausar Aunty.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew the colors I wanted for my reception since I was about 20 years old. Plum has always been a favorite color of mine so I decided to go along with that. It's a color not commonly seen worn at wedding receptions and I also wanted lavender to be incorporated somewhere in my decor and plum just matched it perfectly. I also loved the combination of peach and navy blue and Amar is a big fan of navy blue (chargers fan and all) so that is why we selected those colors for our sangeet.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
I think the most enjoyable part was spending time with Amar and going venue shopping all across southern California. We would have the best time at these meetings just laughing and imagining what our big day would be like.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
If I had to pick one thing the guests enjoyed it would definitely be the food. I think we went above and beyond to make sure our food was amazing since Amar and I are both foodies!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
I think the most special moment for me personally during the wedding was right before our Nikkah ceremony. I was getting ready and taking a few bridal pictures alone before I had to meet Amar. One of his best men came to me with a cute little Tiffany's box in hand. Amar has known that since we met I always wanted to own a piece of jewelry from Tiffany's and what better day to give it than right before our official wedding ceremony. Inside the Tiffany's box was a cute heart-shaped pendant with my father's initials and a note that said even though he is not physically here with you today he is always in your heart. Amar is known for his sweet little gestures and seeing that right before the big ceremony just made me realize my dad would be so happy for us!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
For all our event we had decor done by BEL events. my favorite decor was for the reception with the best floral backdrop ever! we also an awesome donut wall inspired by our wedding coordinator Dana and Amar since they are both donut enthusiast and donuts catered from DK's donuts.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
My advice would be to make sure you get food at every event and to not stress during your wedding week. Don't worry about anything that goes wrong just live in the moment and enjoy the company of everyone. This moment only comes once!

Nikhita and Amar signed their marriage contract and the images are coming your way!

Welcome back, ladies! I hope you are ready for all the splendor of the grand finale of the multi-event wedding of Prajakta and Avinash! The incredibly beautiful wedding reception deserves a moment in the spotlight. The elegant evening was planned with the expert advice of Vermilion Weddings and Events and was held at one of the best venues in the city of San Francisco, Alexandra’s ballroom at the Westin St. Francis! The marvelous hall has a magnificent view of the city’s skyline and for this special day, it was brilliantly decorated with a Gatsby-style! Sophisticated centerpieces and a terrific five-tier art deco wedding cake design that was the cherry on top of a fabulous reception. Sameer Soorma Studios snapped the glamorous couple wearing their best party outfits as they danced to the rhythm of Jhakaas Entertainment! Maharani Prajakta opted for a full white lehenga that flawlessly harmonized with Raja Prajakta’s classic black tuxedo suit! See all the glitz and glam of the formal soiree in our full gallery!

Detroit, Michigan Indian Wedding by Banga Studios

I am hoping that AVP Studios drops the reel of Ritika and Kunal's Indian wedding to me soon because I am in love with all these images by Banga Studios! This is the very last feature of this exceptional Indian wedding and I have all the deets!  Ritika was the ultimate in bridal perfection in a shimmering gold lengha designed from Falguni Shane Peacock. An Indian wedding trend I am noticing for 2018 is the Indian brides tossing the dupatta and really letting their outfit shine! Top That! Event enhanced the MGM Grand Detroit by creating dazzling décor with fancy placemats, votives, and luscious blooms. Guests dined on ambrosial Indian cuisine catered from Shalimar before hitting the dance floor spearheaded by DJ KSR of Frequency Ent. Blissful Weddings & Events created the Indian wedding of Ritika's dreams and you can find all the lavish memories in our gallery
