Back at Lucien's Manor, the couple’s nearest and dearest and the decorating gurus from Mandap Designs were busy setting up for Ruchi and John’s outdoor Christian ceremony. The bride and groom chose an auspicious venue with an incredible outdoor space containing plenty of weeping willows, flowers, and a gorgeous gazebo. The bride was a stunner in a sweeping white gown that was so fitting for the classic venue! Ruchi told us, “I always imagined myself picking out a red lengha, but I NEVER thought I would also be picking out a white dress. Both of the outfits were just so beautiful and unique in their own way. I felt very special that I had the chance to go through it twice. For my white dress, I went back and forth a few times and then when I tried that dress on, I knew I had to say “yes” to the dress. It was so classy yet sexy.” We couldn’t agree more. There are so many gorgeous layers to this self planned Indian fusion wedding of Ruchi & John that we cannot get over all the beauty! The soft breeze on the grounds of the Lucien's Manor, amazing outfits, and oodles of family and friends is the perfect combination for a special wedding day. We love all the elements of an Indian wedding, but when you add in a stunning Christian ceremony, the day becomes even more special. This duo has an adorable love story, and Ruchi told us, "I met John at my house. He knocked on the door, and told me he was my brother’s physical therapist. I always say our first 50 dates were at our house with my family. We would talk but it was just casual talk. We always knew there was something very special there!” Aw. We were swept away by Ruchi & John’s adorable first look, in which they were joined by their precious pup, Maahi. Ruchi was picture perfect after being dolled up by GlowZee in bombshell hair and makeup and a shimmering red lehenga. The magnificent hall was decorated by the visionaries at Mandap Designs, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house after the sweethearts recited their sacred vows. The couple floated away from the mandap in a shower of petals while emotional family members wished them all the best on their new journey together.  We have all the wonderful photos in our full gallery captured by Lightyear Studio!

Christian ceremony deets coming right up!

For her fusion Indian wedding, this Maharani truly wanted the best of both worlds! The biggest trend in Fusion Indian weddings thus far is the fashion lineup that we get to ponder over. There is something so sensational about slipping into a silky white wedding dress and then transforming into a Bollywood bride in a stunning lengha. The morning of her Indian wedding ceremony, Tamila was met with the magical blush brush of Beauty by Tamanna. You know you have found the perfect beauty artist when your makeup stays for hours and hours after the main event! This Maharani’s wedding lengha was full of motif designs and was handmade by one of Canada’s top designers, Zardozi Couture. The Prem Bhakti Mandir was full of charming decor and the mandap was a one of kind. I love open-top mandaps, so modern and chic! Elegant Floral Designs truly created a one of a kind wedding! Welcome back to the party portion of Tamila and Devin’s Fusion Indian wedding at the Green Tree Country Club where guests walked into a Disney movie and left with their hearts full. For her reception, the bride knew she wanted all the enchanted goodness that Elegant Floral Designs could envision. The end product was some gorgeous blooms that was reminiscent of the inside of a whimsical garden. Of course, the heavenly vision of Tamila in a stark white evening gown was the most coveted memory of the night. And, with the magic hands of both Beauty by Tamanna and henna guru Henna For All, this Maharani was a sight to behold. DJ Echo filled the venue with pulsating beats that had guests on the dance floor after eating dinner.
