Lush green lands, spacious acres of nature and the luxury of an Indian event has come into town. Maharani Sukhpreet and her beau, Aman, exchanged the bustling region of California to the relaxed and picturesque state of Virginia. The Sikh wedding ceremony was held at the eminent Raj Khalasa Gurdwara. In true Indian fashion, the baraat came in bustling, equestrian style on a majestic horse from Midge Harmon. With mehndi from Shazia, a classical updo by Yvonne Rivera and a soft makeup look that was both timeless and traditional by Jacqueline Gellner, Sukhpreet looked absolutely stunning. The works of these ladies complimented this Maharani's red and gold custom bridal lengha from Rajan Saree all the way from Ambala, India, impeccably. Happy Halloween Maharanis! Hopefully you are resting your feet with some hot apple cider and spooky movies, after all, it is the best way to spend this day! Today, we are bringing you an event that has originated in California and commences all the way in Sterling, Virginia. It is a difficult feat planning a wedding in your city alone, but, in another state it is a whole different ball game. Maharani Sukhpreet cut the middle man out and planned her engagement, sangeet, wedding and reception party all on her lonesome. That is pretty impressive to say the least. The couple held their engagement party at their beautiful home in Corona, CA. Before the party, this fun couple had a photo shoot in a nearby golf course with Erin Shimazu Photography. The bride donned an embroidered georgette saree in shades of pink, red and orange and the groom wore a traditional suit with a rosy pink tie. After the shoot, the couple joined their closest family and friends in their home. I especially loved the lighting that cascaded over their home with their names seemingly etched into the walls! A year later, the day before the wedding, the couple held their sangeet party at the Red Rose Banquet & Event Center. The hall looked like the inside of a Genie's lamp with colorful drapery, Indian based commodes, and round embroidered gypsy caravan cushions in every shade of the rainbow decorated by Imperial Décor, Luxury Event Designs. Maharani Monique is conquering the streets of Jaipur with her hubby-to-be, Mayank, and these two lovebirds are just absolutely adorable! Matrix Studio captured these stunning photographs of the happy couple in their two final looks for their engagement shoot, and we're loving the Indian bride-to-be's elegant, street style along with her black and gold sari.
