Grapevine, TX Indian Wedding by William Bichara Photography

We’re in Texas today celebrating the nuptials of Hinal and Binoy and their big Indian bash at the Courtyard Dallas DFW Airport North/Grapevine. The bride donned a sparkling red lengha complete with a golden jewelry set that made her resemble a Queen. She was styled to perfection thanks to the draping talents of JJ's Saree Draping and Elegant Saree Draping. They made sure that not a pin was out of place and all the pleats of Hinal’s lengha moved effortlessly as she walked down the petal covered aisle to her mandap. And no bridal routine would be complete without the perfect makeup artist, so Ishnae & Co was brought on to transform this Maharani into a knockout. We’re obsessing over her smoky eyes and soft updo. Her look was mesmerizing from head to toe. Once Hinal was ready for her first look, she entered the magnificent Courtyard Marriott DFW North venue which was decked out in glittering decor elements from floor to ceiling by the visionaries at Divine Décor of Dallas. The space was a total fantasy! There Binoy awaited his bride in a matching sherwani, and their sweet reunion brought tears to our eyes. William Bichara Photography doubled down on the event and captured all the lovely snaps in our full gallery.

Woodland Park, NJ Indian Wedding by PhotosMadeEz

As if a starry night isn’t spectacular on its own, Pooja and Siddharth’s reception at West Mount Country Club’s ballroom was elevated with a versatile mix of elements both classic and edgy. Elegant Affairs had us at the ceiling decor - a splendid display of chandeliers, suspended metallic chrome ceiling lights, and twinkling stars blanketed in gorgeous purple lighting. The stage backdrop comprised of diverse frames and mirrored columns that was experimental yet romantic. We loved the table cards that were essentially movie posters, with table numbers indicated on a film reel. It carried that classic Bollywood vibe from the Sangeet. The magnificence was turned up a notch when Pooja and Siddharth made their way into the ballroom. Pooja donned an understated yet glamorous blue Rabani and Rakha piece that looked like it can make a statement on the red carpet! For this look, she added a Polki jewelry set, and SV Bridal Concepts by Sanjana Vaswani completed it with soft and subdued makeup. Another glam touch was the marquee lettering that spelled out the names of the newlyweds, done by Shape Street. DJ Gaurav Sood set the dance floor on fire with the latest hits, leaving the couple and their guests thoroughly enchanted. PhotosMadeEz was sure not to miss a single dreamy detail at this flamboyant and festive wedding. Totally worth your time to go and peruse through the galleryCheck out this featured wedding in our inaugural 2016 Unforgettable List Magazine!

West Orange, NJ Indian Wedding by Images by Berit

Hello Maharanis! We’re at the picturesque Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange to revel in the gorgeous reception of Monique and Mayank. When Maharani Monique told us that she incorporated her graphic design skills into signs, banners, personalized water bottles among other things, we knew we were in for a treat! To put it simply, Monique and Mayank’s reception not only redefined glam, but gave us a whole new and enthralling perspective of customization at a wedding. We had a serious case of #decorgoals from just looking at the marvelous work of Elegant Affairs. The asymmetrical drapes against a shimmery backdrop on the stage just lit up the entire ballroom, and on its own, Pleasantdale Chateau was promising given the Art Deco interiors. Maharani Monique twirled pretty in a gorgeous gold and cream gown, as Band Bajha Entertainment entertained the guests with their fusion music. Later when DJUSA took over, he kept everyone on their toes and glued to the dance floor. Blue Moon Video Productions was filming throughout, so as to not miss any of the many significant moments, and all these pictures by Images by Berit is making us wait with bated breath for the film. From signature drinks customized by the couple to Mayank on the guitar singing his own composition, this reception was packed with magical and momentous elements. Check out the gallery to be completely marveled!

Maharani Neeti, on her wedding style:

"Deepti Chandani (our decorator), walked us through the whole process! She was absolutely wonderful. She was gracious with her time and extensive picture portfolio. I wasn't the type of girl that dreamed out my wedding from day 1 so I really had to develop a style. I went on pinterest ALOT.... but Deepti really helped guide me on tying together the entire weeding with matching color, styles, and a coherent theme. I wanted to have a chic wedding with strong colorful indian designs for the Garba- Sangeeta nd wedding. And then change the style for the reception to more somber and classic. We went with a bright peacock theme (and found a palette on pinterest, so the colors were known to all those involved), Dark purples with a hint of magenta and lavender for the wedding. For the reception Ivory and gold were our colors."

On planning her Desi dream wedding:

"Honestly, wedding planning initially was a bit overwhelming. There were so many vendors and so many little details to think about! But after getting our feet wet with the basic necessities teasing out the details became fun! Decor and makeup/hair styles were my personal favorites part of the wedding planning process. My husband was amazing with wedding planning also, we really divided and conquered. Coming up with the song playlist, asking our friends and family to perform, picking out our cake, and getting our caterers with our fusion cuisine. It was so fun to learn about all of the amazing talented vendors Los Angeles had to offer!"

On her most memorable wedding moments:

"Weddings, especially Indian weddings, can be super fun but REALLY chaotic also! In all the chaos my first look was my favorite part. Realizing that the day is finally here and we are actually getting married! I also loved watching the baraat. I didn't really get to hide away from our friends and family prior to walking down the aisle. But in retrospect I'm so glad I was able to meet and greet with some of my family and friends before the ceremony started. I would highly suggest taking time to meet with your invitees prior to the wedding festivities for future Maharanis. And having pictures taken while you're watching the baraat... is a must!"

The party is just about to start and you have an exclusive invitation to the excitement! Meet me back here in a bit to check it all out!
