One of the most splendid and cultural settings for your big fat Indian wedding will most indubitably have to be in  India. From lavish resorts, gorgeous beaches, and cultural influences, it is no wonder that every Indian wedding to land on the desk of Maharani Weddings is just brimming with a spicy tang. Maharani Vinnie and Dhruv held their multiple festivities at the Jaypee Mussoorie. Tania Weddings was committed to ensuring that Vinnie’s personal touch shined through by organizing all the overall logistics to the finest details throughout all the functions. Finding the perfect glam squad in a country miles and miles away from home is quite possibly the hardest feat! Vinnie enlisted the expertise of Atul Chauhan Makeovers to make sure she looked picture perfect for Knotty Days.  The bride looked spectacular in every frame of her highlight! Both the bride and groom owned their runway and you can wickedly indulge in all the love down below and in the gallery!

Taken straight from the script of a phenomenal Bollywood flick, the love of Vinnie and Dhruv plays out like a modern-day Indian fairytale. The couple met during Vinnie's sister's wedding and Dhruv was a tad bit annoying. However, it was this one trait that drew Vinnie to the now love of her life and over a series of months, the couple became inseparable. But, ironically they were trying to set the other one up with other people. It was only a matter of time before true love reared her head! The power of social media is infectious! This girl planned her entire wedding via Instagram! Guests were treated to a jubilant mehndi celebration full of bright colors. An extra layer of perfection came in the form of the proposal. As Vinnie tells us: "Friendship brings out the best in you. I could be me in front of him. That's what I wanted! We really didn't propose to each other and we don't even know when we started dating. We were so lost in each other. But right after Roka I wanted to break the stereotype and bend down on my knee to propose him in front of his friends." I love a greatly planned Indian wedding. Especially one that involves fireworks, palaces, and a guest list of royalty.  The festivities winded down at The Umaid Bhawan Palace. Planned and designed by Pratik & Jueta Hemdev from Yolo Entertainment & Weddings, I commend the wedding vendor team for their creativity and efforts with creating this explosive celebration. The venue was transformed into a magical wonderland! Yolo Entertainment & Weddings has blown me away with their amazing talent in the decor department. Take a journey through Ancient India as we are transported back in time! This couple is truly beautiful inside and out and their evergreen memories have been cherished forever in the gallery captured by Ram Bherwani Weddings.

The Indian culture is steeped in enlightenment and traditions and it is no surprise when I see over the top weddings in India. After all, what bride wouldn't want to get married in this gorgeous country? Zubin Mehta, son of Blossom and Nitin Mehta, born and brought up in Mumbai, is the owner of MECORDS India LTD. The love of his life, Zubin is also from Mumbai and I can only imagine how this love just blossomed! Jodhpur saw the creme de la creme of Mumbai as well their esteemed guests from across the globe - Kamlesh and Kaushika Hemdev, Maheka Mirpuri, Aly & Yasmin Morani, Kailash & Aarti Surendranath amongst many others. The opium sky sparkled as the Indian wedding ceremony was performed. The night sky was such a gorgeous backdrop. Stunned by this assortment of high impact trousseau? The groom and bride donned beautiful outfits from designers such as Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, Shantanu and Nikhil and Tarun Tahiliani. Today I have an enchanting love story celebrating an extremely fashion-forward couple. Maharani Aashna and Zubin met a few times in Mumbai as well as in Delhi to learn that they were truly meant for each other. Zubin, being more of a planner by nature between the both of them, formally proposed to Aashna, at the picturesque & uber romantic, Maldives Taj Exotica. This was followed by a breathtaking roka for a select few close family members and friends at Taj Lands End, followed by an extravagant celebration to mark the beginning of the #A2Z celebrations. Jueta & Pratik Hemdev with their team at Yolo Entertainment & Weddings worked on the grand affair from the Roka ceremony to the wedding in Jodhpur to the reception in Mumbai. I am completely blown away by all the details with chartered jet flights personalized to the wedding theme, all the magically themed events, and some of the most stunning Indian wedding wear I have seen to date. On the forefront of capturing all the memories was Ram Bherwani Weddings who ensured that not a single moment was left uncaptured.
