I return to the continuation of Ashwini and Chirag's Indian wedding celebration! And, I do have a visual treat for you today Maharanis! Ashwini was a walking masterpiece in a deep gold and burgundy raw silk sari with intricate print and heavy embroidery work. I am absolutely certain that there was not a dry eye in sight as she walked down her incredible aisle. A floral backdrop against a gorgeously draped ombre dipped linen drapery took center stage in the middle of the outdoor venue. Popular mandaps that I am seeing in 2018 are those that incorporate a modern touch with hints of traditional elegance. The magic truly happens in India! Maharani Ashwini met Chirag in Goa while out with her friends and once she saw the compassion her future beau showed to others, she was swept off her feet! The proposal was one of the unique encounters I have read to date! "It was in a way very funny because I was not sure if he was proposing as he brought it up very casually in one of our daily strolls as we were very good friends. I was so dumbfounded that it took me a while to realize and react and I then I vanished for three days to think it through and then I said yes and we never went back." Just the way I like it! Short and to the point, and pretty much exactly like my very own proposal! One of my favorite features of this Indian wedding is the location! All the elements were multifaceted and jovial, two aspects of an Indian wedding that I have come to love!
