Little Elm, TX Fusion Wedding by Daniel K. Films

A symphony of romance and artistry unfolded on the blissful day when Tincy & Allan intertwined in divine unison at St. Mary's Malankara Orthodox ChurchBelle Décor did a fantastic job of making their vision come to life with the flowers and decor. Tzahhia from Keestone Events had great recommendations for picking the right vendors, leading the day into an orchestrated ballet of mesmerizing instances. The experts at Hello Flawless Artistry transformed Tincy into a stunning beauty with their exceptional artistry skills. Since their theme was around Royalty plus the King and Queen look, they chose Knotting Hill Place for the reception. The offerings of Yelibelly Chocolate & Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery melted in mouths, a sweet testament to the unutterable love between our charming couple. The melodic tunes conjured by DJ Riz Entertainment, the dance of emotions and expressions wove a tapestry that lingered in every heart. Invitations by Leyco Lettering bore witness to this consecration of love, with a custom monogram of 'TA' with the royal look. Amour Langue LLC seamlessly transported every soul through a journey where time and space bowed to the unutterable affection gracing the atmosphere. Every corner and glance was a portrayal of love, rendered timeless by Daniel K. Films, whose lenses captured not just the imagery but the silent whispers of the soul, the untethered laughter, and the quiet reflections of infinite affection.

How did you meet your Groom, and when did you know he was "the one"?
Tincy’s Version: Our first meeting was very unexpected and magical as we met at a store where I used to work. I vividly remember Allan walking into the store, and I glanced my eyes into him, thinking how handsome he was. Once we started talking, I got even more attracted to him. We started having small talk first, and then, as the topic of college came up, he asked me to come to the college he was going to as I was planning to join another college. His gesture made me feel special, and I felt something different about him. I think it was love at first sight! As cliché as it sounds, our love story had a happy ending as we ended up getting married after 7 long years of friendship and dating. I still cherish him and our precious relationship and believe it was destiny that made him come to the store that day. I always joke about our first meeting as, “You came here to buy Samosas, but you got this Golgappa instead.”

Allan's version: I believe our initial meeting was just like a Hollywood/Bollywood love story, as I first saw Tincy at a store near my home. She used to work as a cashier, and one fine day, my mom decided to stop by to get some snacks as we heard they offered some great samosas and other Indian dishes. As soon as I saw her, there was a spark or just a different feeling altogether. Maybe this is what is known as love at first sight. We started having a conversation, and since she was in the middle of deciding on which college to go to, I was trying to lure her to the college I was going to. After stepping out of the store, I knew we weren't meant to be friends; there was something more, and the rest is history. We dated for 7 long years, and I still have the same feelings for her to this day.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
It was the best proposal I could ever ask for! It was so romantic and special as he surprised me by renting out the entire space and decorating the place with rose petals, candles, and signs in a heart shape and got down on one knee, popping the ring out after an emotional speech. Obviously, I said yes!! It was the easiest ‘yes’ I have ever said in my life. I adore the ring he proposed to me with as he custom-made it just for me, and yes, he did a great job! We celebrated our precious moment with his friends over champagne and took some great pictures to cherish the sweet memories forever. It was such a magical moment that I will cherish for my lifetime.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair and makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
The overall experience was nothing but beautiful, tiring, definitely stressful, and worth every moment. The best decision we made was to hire a wedding planner full-time since Allan works full-time and is getting his master's program done, and I am studying for my doctorate in therapy school. Tzahhia, our wedding planner, was the absolute best; she made the whole process seamless, as the main thing for any wedding is to have the right vendors and contacts. Tzahhia and her firm (Keestone Events) had great recommendations for picking the right vendors.
Since our theme was around Royalty plus the King and queen look, we wanted our venue to match that. We didn't want to go for the usual hotel banquet hall, so we came across Knotting Hill Place, which is a huge castle and basically represents what we were looking for. It was so beautiful and perfect for our big day.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I had 2 wedding dresses: a wedding gown for the church ceremony and a lehenga for the reception. My wedding dress was magical, with a beautiful mermaid-style laced gown with a long train and long veil, which was perfect for the church ceremony. For the reception, I wanted something royal as that was our wedding theme. I chose to go with the maroon velvet material with golden Zardozi metal jumkha embroidery and stones throughout the lehenga, which made it look rich, elegant, and royal, the perfect one for our wedding! Initially, I wanted something in pastel color but ended up choosing the maroon lehenga, which I fell in love with.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The best part about planning our wedding was the excitement of our big day and the opportunity we had to spend time with each other a whole lot in each and every process. We both cherish those moments a lot, whether it’s visiting multiple venues for the reception, reviewing each and every vendor recommended, and taste-testing the items we wanted. It was special to do it together. We were also blessed to have an amazing wedding planner, Tzahhia, and we had an instant click/bond, which helped the whole process seem easier than it looked. The sync-ups with her were great, and we still miss having those sessions along with her.
Also, I would like to highlight 1 thing: during most of the wedding planning process, it’s usually the brides that handle or take control of most of the things needed. But in our case, it was the opposite; Allan was equally involved in every step of the way and, at times, used to handle most of the meetings with the vendor or wedding planner while I was busy with classes/exams. This was such a loving gesture and something I admire about him a lot.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I believe our reception venue at Knotting Hill Place and the theme/décor of the event was such a standout. We still receive a lot of compliments and questions about inspirations or vendors we used to have our wedding showcased that way. I believe this was the most unique, royal, and beautiful decor that we have seen till now, it definitely was way above our expectations. And the venue itself has the royal castle vibe, which is unique by itself compared to having it at a hotel or resort. Most of our guests had a lot of inquiries about the venue to host other events there.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Aside from the whole day itself, I believe Allan’s surprise gift was the most special moment for me. Since I love to include a lot of flower decorations, as you can see in our lovely pictures, I wanted to have a ceiling halo filled with flowers. But when I heard the price of the following, it was insanely expensive, and I didn’t move forward with it. Allan always loves to surprise me with a lot of gifts and goes above and beyond to get stuff done, and he did just that. Without my knowledge, he worked with our wedding planner to get the ceiling halo with a lot of flowers and kept it a secret until the wedding day. When the hall was revealed to us, I was shocked and surprised as it was the most beautiful thing that I’ve seen in my life. It made me feel so loved and wholesome (this moment is captured in our video highlight and pictures).

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
In terms of the décor, we wanted it to be a Royal theme with the look and feel of a King & Queen (Allan always wanted this, King AJ). We had a dedicated color palette to match our theme where we would be on the dark shades of the colors chosen, and our immediate family members would be on the lighter. Tzahhia (wedding planner) did a great job in gathering all the information together and creating a presentation that had breakdowns of the colors to be used, the layout of the head table, sweetheart table, tablecloth colors, items needed on each table, and the overall décor of the venue. Since we wanted it to have the King & Queen look, we had specific items related to it, such as crown-shaped candles, gold chairs, throne-style chairs for the bride/groom, cold sparks, and smoke layers for our dance performances. Since I love to have a lot of flowers incorporated, we had it included on every table, and every flower was fresh/live. The flowers matched our color palette, and Belle Décor (our florist & décor vendor) did an amazing job of making our vision come to life. When creating our invitations, we created our own custom monogram of ‘TA’ with the royal look; our invitation was very classy and had crowns on each page; it basically gave our guests an initial preview of what to expect on our big day. We also included a custom dance floor, which had our monogram highlighted in the middle, which was a standout. I believe our outfits were beautiful as well, as they matched our theme, and we definitely looked like a King & Queen. My lehenga had a lot of custom work and was designed with maroon and gold, and Allan’s maroon Tuxedo complimented it very well.

We had a lot of dance performances by our cousins and relatives, which stole the show. We were very impressed and surprised by the level of work they put in, as everybody was cheering during every performance, and we loved it. Allan and I had a bunch of surprises for each other with our first dance, which was so romantic, and we surprised the crowd with our moves to ‘Naatu Naatu’ and ‘Jimmikki Ponnu.’

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
I have a couple of tips or advice which might help for any Brides-to-be:

BEGIN YOUR WEDDING PLANNING EARLY! You might always think that you would have all the time in the world, but trust me, time really flies super fast when it comes to wedding planning. We are glad that we started a year before, which helped us a lot as there are numerous things to do, from selecting the venue, which in this day and age gets booked really quick, to reviewing vendors, picking the color and theme, and so on. The earlier you start your planning process, the better.

Hire a full-time wedding planner. This was the first thing we did as for a couple who works full-time and goes to school, this is a no-brainer and a lifesaver. Having the right wedding planner goes a long way as they handle basically everything from scheduling sync-ups, providing the top vendors, all communication to the vendor, budget, and everything on the wedding day. We believe it was worth every penny to have a wedding planner on board, so unless you have the time to go through everything yourself, having somebody take the load/stress off your plate is the best way to go.

Teamwork is dreamwork. This isn’t only your wedding, a wedding is about 2 people, the bride and groom. Make sure you include your hubby in the whole process; not only does it help you to get things done, but it also gives you quality time together, and you will feel special, plus a lot more love on your big day. I didn’t have to worry about that as my hubby basically takes care of everything along with me. <3

Join us in celebrating the beginning of more adventures, and may love to continue to inspire us all.

Rajiv proposed on 23rd October 2021, just over a year after we first met. He had organized a spa day at the Corinthia Hotel in London, which is one of my favorite spas - we got pampered with lots of treatments and a lovely lunch. We then changed location to the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane. He asked me to be ready at 5.45 pm and meet him on the top floor of the hotel. When the lift doors opened, I could hear our song “Electric” by Alina Baraz & Khalid playing. I followed the path of white rose petals on the floor to the main room. There were photo frames of us and little gifts to collect along the way. When I opened the doors to the main room, I found Rajiv in the middle on one knee. The whole room was covered in white rose petals, with Polaroids of our dates hanging on fairy light strings and candles everywhere. The view of the London skyline in the background as the sun was setting was amazing. He had hired a saxophone player to play our favorite songs live in the background. He had also hired our wedding photographers to capture the proposal as well! It was the best moment of my life. Afterward, we went to Amaya, an Indian restaurant, for dinner; as a surprise, he had organized a private dinner with our immediate families. From there, we headed to a nearby bar for a final celebratory drink - I didn’t know Rajiv had organized another surprise after party this time to celebrate with all of our friends! It was perfect :)

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I wanted to wear traditional red and Manish Malhotra as I love his Indian wedding lenghas. I went to his store in Delhi and had the best experience playing dress up. I found my perfect Lengha there and knew it immediately.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
We have heard that guests loved our attention to the smaller details - we had written personalized vintage Italian postcards by hand to go into each guest's welcome bag when they arrived for the wedding. We had personalized tote bags made with our logo for guests to use to transport their belongings to the various events. Guests still use this as a reusable shopping bag today. We also had a personalized pack of playing cards (our family are keen card players), a personalized wooden vintage handheld fan, and personalized do-not-disturb signs for the wedding guests. We also had a whole range of Italian snacks and wines for guests to enjoy in their rooms. We had water guns for the Haldi, which guests also loved!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
We wrote our own personal vows, so hearing those out loud was really special. The moment we said ‘I Do’ and became husband and wife meant a lot. The whole theme of our wedding was “From Dreams To Reality,” and it was amazing to see all our ideas come to life against the beautiful Tuscan backdrop.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
The day flies by, and before you know it, it will have already become a memory. Be in the present and savor every moment. Don’t let any of the small stresses get to you. You’ll cherish these memories forever, and you want them to be full of smiles.

Thanks for your visit today, sweeties! Don't forget to be back for more inspirational stories every day.

How did you meet your Groom, and when did you know he was "the one"?
Tini and I met in San Francisco in January 2020 with one swipe to the right on Hinge. The next thing I knew, I was on a first date with a boy who had a more complicated name than me. His real name is Dipankar, but all his close loved ones call him Tini. We had our first date at Jamber, a wine bar, where we instantly had a connection and great conversation. We went out on a few more dates around the bay, but when March rolled around and the pandemic ensued, we parted ways temporarily.

I moved back to Texas for my family, and Tini moved back to Montreal for his family. Bouncing around from cities and countries, we managed to find our way back to each other in good ol’ Houston, Texas, in January 2021. At that point, I immersed Tini into my life, introducing him to all my friends and family. His opening line when meeting anyone is “Do you want a tequila shot?” so he got along with all my friends and family instantly.

Tini is one of the most charismatic, honest, and happiest humans I’ve ever met. He has been my biggest cheerleader since our very first date in Jan 2020. He empowers me to be my full, authentic self, use my voice, and live in the moment. I also knew that whoever made me laugh to the point of my cheeks hurting was the person meant for me. I’m so lucky to have my best friend as my life partner and thankful that one swipe made my life.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Tini and I got engaged on March 19th, 2022! Tini told me he had made plans with Nikhil and Sowmya, my brother and sister-in-law, for brunch that Saturday morning. I worked out that morning and began getting ready for brunch. That same morning, I decided to test out some new foundations, which was putting us behind Tini’s specially crafted schedule. Unaware of the urgency or importance of the day, I took my time to get dressed. Finally making it out the door, Tini wanted to swing by Herman Park to walk around a bit before brunch and enjoy the gorgeous weather.

While we were walking around the park, Tini started reminiscing on our life journey together. Suddenly, he gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. Overcome with happiness, I screamed YES, and the photographer popped out, taking our in-the-moment excitement. However, right before Tini could put the engagement ring on my finger, a park ranger pops out of nowhere and tells us Centennial Gardens has strict picture-taking rules. We needed to leave this part of the park immediately.

In typical Tini fashion, he told me not to let the park ranger ruin this once-in-a-lifetime moment, run with the punches, and enjoy this time together. We found a different part of the park where Tini was able to finally put the engagement ring on my finger, and we shared those first precious moments of being engaged with each other (and our photographer). After our mini photoshoot, Tini scoops me away, and we head to my parent's house for a surprise engagement bash. Tini has hired a professional chef to make my whole family a special meal with all of my favorite treats (Tex-Mex food, tres leches, donuts, Cinnabon rolls, Reese's chocolate). We spend the rest of the day celebrating together with tequila shots, great food, and amazing company. Truly a memorable day.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Do you have a favorite color in mind?
Shopping for my wedding outfits was a little stressful in the beginning. I’m not the most well-versed with all the Indian designers and the latest styles. My sister-in-law, Sowmya, really introduced me to Indian designers, style ranges, and all the key sites to get ideas. I am, at the core, someone who is always drawn to bold, colorful, and timeless/chic styles, so I knew my outfits should represent those styles.

Sangeet was the perfect event for me to go bold, colorful, and playful - and I found the perfect outfit for just that! Tini’s cousin, Natasha Walia, co-owns LiveTheCollective, which is a Toronto-based boutique that sells Indian designer wear all over North America. Natasha and I chatted at length about the most ideal sangeet outfit. When I was scanning her site, I found the most gorgeous Vvani by Vani Vats's purple lehenga. I didn't typically see brides wearing such a vibrant purple for Sangeets and knew it was the lehenga for me. Wearing the Vvani lehenga for my Sangeet was everything I imagined and more - it truly embodied the whole vibe I was aiming for the Sangeet.

For the ceremony, I've always envisioned the traditional South Indian look. A beautiful Kanchipuram silk sari with a cream base, bold red border, and beautiful light gold embroidery throughout. I knew Hyderabad was the only place to find the perfect sari. After visiting so many stores, I found the perfect one at Kanchipuram Narayani Silks in Jubilee Hills. It was love at first Sari sight, and every time I look back at my wedding pictures, it brings the biggest smile to my face.

The reception lehenga was more challenging for me. I knew I wanted a timeless and chic reception look, but I wasn’t sure about the color or the style. That’s when I discovered Panache by Sharmeen in Houston, Texas. Sharmeen has a multi-Indian designer boutique with the most collaborative and seamless bridal process for wedding outfits. In fact, I ended up using Sharmeen for my outfits for my brother’s wedding as well! Sharmeen truly has exquisite customer service and attention to detail. I’ve never seen anyone care more about her bride’s outfit details than her. I started the process with Sharmeen 1 year out from our wedding date, and that gave us time to experiment with different designers, styles, and colors. With the help of Pinterest, Instagram, and Sharmeen, I finally landed on a designer - Seema Gujural. She had a line of so many timeless and chic looks I knew that was the direction for me. Then I saw this gorgeous blue color on someone else's Instagram and knew blue was the reception vibe. Sharmeen helped me find the perfect shade of blue, identify the lehenga patterns, and design the style of the blouse. I’m still in love with my reception outfit and honestly looking for the next opportunity to wear it - I never wanted to take it off.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
When it finally came time to design and visualize each event's look and vibe - that was the most fun! Tini and I got to tap into our creative side and partner with Nirali in brainstorming all the fun quirks we wanted to have that represented our relationship. We got to work with such a wide array of vendors, and they were so great in helping us pull and swap elements from their warehouse to curate the perfect look.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Tini and I are notorious for rallying our friends and family to play drinking games, and we knew we wanted to incorporate drinking games into our sangeet experience. Our venue, Pecan Spring Ranch, had the perfect outdoor space where we were able to create a wonderful outdoor experience with food stations, lawn games, and a dedicated section under the pergola for drinking games. Our drinking game stations were beer pong, slap cup, and flip cup. Everyone got to relive their undergrad glory days when we had pristine livers and no sense of where the night would take us. What was most special about this moment was looking around to find loved ones from all phases of our lives hanging out together. People we never thought we would meet were suddenly teaming up and sharing laughs together around the drinking game tables. That was a beautifully rare moment for the guests and for Tini and me.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There are two particular moments that stick out to me.

First, when Tini and I were doing the Talambralu ceremony step, Tini somehow missed the memo that you’re supposed to lightly pour the yellow rice on top of my head and instead thought he could throw the rice directly in my face. This triggered an instant rice-throwing playful fight between Tini and me. Unfortunately, our parents came into the crossfire, but it was such an unexpected, fun, joyous moment between Tini and me. There are some really solid photos that capture this exact moment.

Second, Tequila has been a fun bonding element between Tini, me, and our loved ones. Thus, right after the ceremony, after we stepped off the mandap, Tini and I shared a surprise tequila shot with all of our guests. We wanted a unique way to commemorate Tini and me getting married and involve all of our guests in that special moment. The guests loved the unique experience!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
There’s one special shout-out I need to make, and that’s for our photographer and videographer. Our photographer, Jamie Kovach from TwoFish, exceeded our expectations. She and the team were so incredibly thoughtful about capturing those special moments that happen between shots. She brought to life the magic between Tini and me. We loved her photography style, and she was so fun to be around. She’s an expert at effortlessly corralling a huge Indian crowd and getting the job done. Bonus points are her turnaround time for wedding pics is super quick. I can’t rave enough about Jamie and her team.

Nick and Bryan from Bird and the Bear were our videographers and pulled together some epic moments we never even knew happened at the wedding! Their videographer brilliance gave Tini and me the chance to relive the whole wedding weekend moment by moment.

Another memorable moment was the Sangeet dance program. My brother, Nikhil, and Tini’s brother, Manu, were the designated MCs for the evening and crushed it. Because of our love for drinking games, they came up with the most clever theme for the Sangeet program - Kings Cup - Niyanthi and Tini Edition. Each card represented a fun activity or challenge for us and the guests. It was a great way to engage the audience and keep things fresh. In between their bits, we had loved ones give speeches and dances. I couldn't help but dance along to all the amazing dances from our friends and family.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
My number one advice - when your wedding week rolls around, forget about all the logistics and the details. Live in the moment, and spend every second with all of your loved ones, laughing and sharing memories. That week is the first and last time you and your partner will have ALL of your loved ones under one roof, celebrating y’all’s love. Embrace the weekend and have a shit ton of fun.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
Another special moment for Tini and me was having one of our best friends make most of our custom desserts for the Sangeet and Reception. Ishita Chakravarty, from DeelishCupcakes, has the most incredible assortment of custom and fusion desserts. Her talent and creative genius have no boundaries. The flavors we got were Laddoo, lemon blueberry, falooda injectable, brownie batter cookie dough, and paan petit four. The desserts were always the first things to finish at every single event, and all of our guests were raving about the flavors.

For the reception, we used Pixter Photo Booth as a fun way to keep the memories alive. Lots of our family and friends were bouncing back and forth between the dance floor and the photo booth. There’s a lot of goofy pictures we captured!

We also used Nisha Henna Arts for our Sari and lehenga draping. I actually met Nisha back at my brother’s wedding, and she’s such a sweetheart. She knows how to roll with the chaos of getting ready for events and did a great job with draping me and my family.

Sending you all love and romantic wishes until our next alluring tale. We have more stories for you!

Howardsville, VA Fusion Wedding by TLIC Media

Welcome, lovely Maharanis! Pooja & Beatrice's wedding was not just an event; it was an epic tale of love brought to life with elegance and grandeur. The magic of their love was authentically captured by TLIC Media, where every frame whispered stories of their laughter, joy, and intimate moments. From the moment the brides arrived in style with Olde Towne Carriages for their baraat, making a genuinely regal entrance, there was an unmistakable magic in the air. Avon Hill Lodge & Bruce's Barn's rustic elegance played the perfect backdrop for their ethereal celebrations. With Pooja's meticulous planning, the ambiance of the entire occasion was mesmerizing. Beatrice's mandap stood solid and beautiful, a testament to the foundation of their love. Riverwood Design's exquisite floral & decor transformed the space into a floral wonderland. The detailed henna artistry from the gifted Mehndi With Heena narrated tales of heritage and tradition—her exceptional skills mesmerized everyone who saw the breathtaking designs. Society 11:11 elevated their beauty through outstanding hair and makeup artistry. Every bite from the delicious cake & treats by Baked on the James had guests craving more. Celebrate this infinite bond with us and enjoy today's footage!

Stay tuned for more unforgettable tales, sweeties. May your hearts be filled with everlasting joy.
