Lots of sighs and tears later, we managed to conclude that if Diandra and Roby’s wedding is anything to go by, their marriage is definitely going to be timeless and blissful. The wedding highlight by MaxPhoto NY beautifully emphasized every moment that was about love, offering interludes of the bride and groom’s letters to each other. The sentimental ceremony took place at St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Church. Its always amazing when we get to see bridal renditions of classic, fuss-free looks. Diandra looked exquisite in a strapless white mermaid-cut dress with a sweetheart neckline and a beaded sash. Looks by Jassi styled Diandra’s hair in soft waves, and kept her makeup natural, with flushed rosy cheeks. Turns out white wasn’t reserved for the bride alone. Roby looked sharp in a white blazer teamed with black trousers, accessorized with a black bow-tie and suspenders. Also, Roby’s finely groomed beard definitely deserves a mention! Post-vows, the newly weds moved the party to The Sterling, for a groovy reception party DJ-ed by In The Mix. Lighting is to decor what rings are to vows, and so, keeping the floral work minimal, Georgewood Florist enhanced the ballroom with sultry purple and gold lighting. There were so many traditional details and rituals at this wedding, like the bridesmaids in turquoise and gold saris, the bridal party waltzing and dabbing as they entered, and the candle lighting ceremony. The close up shot of the floral white cake by Francesco’s Bakery revealed a sparkly “R” cake topper, which signified the unison of Diandra and Roby as Mr. and Mrs. Raju.
Hearty congratulations to the lovely couple! Drop by for another day of wedding glory right here on Maharani Weddings!
