Tears of joy were abundant in this gorgeous Indian fusion wedding out of Southern California. I am swooning over this tasteful and gracefully designed wedding by Planning Elegance that unleashed my own happy tears. Maharaja Joe entered his baraat ceremony perched upon a regal white horse from Enchanted Carriages. The fusion of two cultures intertwined seamlessly as the groom’s family knew the dance off procedures with the bride’s side! Our Maharani was a stunner in a traditional red and gold lengha and hair and makeup still remained intact even between all the happy tears! In the Indian culture, it is deemed extremely good luck when it rains on your wedding day. Well, not only were Asmeeta’s tears flowing, but the outdoor ceremony got rained on! Not a problem as family and friends stood by armed with umbrellas so the bride and groom could exchange their vows. The stormy weather couldn’t stop the glow of the fire as the couple made their traditional rounds sealing their vows under a lovely pink mandap designed by Maddy Moya. The wedding and reception were both within eye shot of the sweeping views of the Marina at the Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey which has housed many Indian events! The party moved indoors to a bedecked ballroom lit in harmonious hues of gold with lighting by Legacy Sound and Lighting who also served as the Desi disc jockeys of the night. Photographer of the night was none other than Greycard Photography. You won’t want to miss this beautiful union tastily captured by Avec Lumiere embedded below for your viewing pleasure!
