We have now come to the conclusion that wedding videos and happy tears are inextricably linked. The music and the romantic slow-mo shots pushes the emotions out of someone’s heart and into the open! The super talented team at Zheng Chia Films conceptualized and produced Sonia and Jason’s film, and told us their story in a soul-stirring way. K.Scott Weddings orchestrated this fantabulous fusion wedding that started on a joyous note with a Sangeet hosted at Cleveland Park. While Garba and traditions were mainstays at the Sangeet, it was complete with festive fun and Sonia’s pretty twirls brought about by the dancing. A muted orange and cream seating setup in one corner of the indoor space added a sweet charm to an otherwise colorful and vibrant Sangeet decor. Nice touch by Sarita Goel from Aayojan! It was the ceremony, however, that was truly a showstopper. Sonia & Jason had a Christian ceremony at the St. Paul the Apostle, and were in awe of the way they incorporated their respective cultures. To begin with, Sonia was dressed in a stunning Indo-western dress from Panache Designs by Sharmeen, the bodice of which was all gold and embroidered. She added a Kundan maang tikka and a tulle, embroidered veil to finish her look. Cotton Rouge did a stunning smokey eye, and a crimson red lip added the touch of traditional Indian red to Sonia’s look. The couple looks so confident and photogenic, we’re certain that Sol Basconillo Photography had a ball clicking them! Sonia and Jason’s wedding bliss continued into a soiree through the reception held at Marriott Spartanburg, that paved the way for DJ Natty Heavy to entertain the guests solidly. Marriott baked a lovely, ombre white and coral cake for the couple, which was the right finishing touch after guests enjoyed an assortment of delicacies from Simply Fresh N Spicy. Aayojan turned things up in this segment by adding decadent white stems and florals, and created a tropical twilight feel with the soft and warm lighting. Sonia outshone in a bright blue lehenga set, and Jason looked so adorable having paired blue suspenders and a bow tie with his outfit. The film came to a close with Sonia’s words, “I, take you Jason, to be my husband”, resonating against heartwarming smiles and blushes of the couple. Hit play on this video that is going to melt your hearts!
