Sigh, we’re still recovering from all the emotional outpouring from Sara and Saad’s wedding film. Their story is clearly one of the books, and Darkroom Doctors Studios reminded us why we love stories. This epic film comes from Toronto, and was engulfed in romance to say the least. Sara and Saad’s cozy ceremony was hosted at ISNA and followed traditional Islamic customs. Sara glistened in a stunning cream Gharara, that was paired with a classic bridal red embroidered veil and lehenga. To say that we loved her jewelry is an understatement! She gleamed in her gold adornments that were finished with red beading details. Saad coordinated with this beauteous bride, in a white and red Sherwani accentuated with sequin elements. We loved his matching printed raw silk Safa! The two were united in nuptial bliss in the presence of family and close friends, after which they hosted a reception at Chandni Grand. Sara and Saad’s reception truly embodied grace and elegance, and kudos to Decor Inspirations for bedecking the indoor space so beautifully! A subtle metallic color palette reigned supreme, with ivory, navy blue, and beige drapery on the stage. White floral arrangements alongside crystal accents added a glint to the decor. Sara looked ethereal in an all-over beaded ivory ensemble complete with a Maharani-esque train. In addition to the refined neutral and metallic makeup, Rachel Renna draped Sara’s veil from the lower part of her head, making it cascade beautifully. This soiree incorporated a ton of entertaining live performances for the guests, including a knockout fire performance by Scarlet Black, and a lively Bhangra show by Gabru Rangeelay. Later, DJs from Empire Entertainment fueled the rest of the party with their awesome beats. Going by the waterfront views and lovely backdrops that we got a sneak peek of in the video, Shams Photography must have surely captured some wonderful photos! Until we manage to get a closer look at the details through the photos, hit play on this heartfelt wedding film!
Yes, we’re on the same page as you - Sara’s closing words about how Saad makes everything worth it hit us right in the feels! Wedding films seriously do something to us, and if you feel the same way, return to the blog tomorrow for your daily dose of classic wedding cinematography!
