Dear Maharanis, we have a beautiful Tennessee wedding to share with you today, created by the amazing Veda Films, with all still photography by The Siners. The festivities took place at the gorgeous Chattanoogan Hotel, where an energetic baraat gathered outside, and the groom made his grand entrance in a sleek McLaren owned by Bijal's cousin. A magnificent chandelier provided a beautiful focal piece in the hotel’s ballroom, with crystal garlands hanging gracefully overhead as guests waited eagerly for the bridal procession to begin. Event planning and design was perfectly executed by Bijal's family. Wonderful Day Weddings helped execute the two day event, with incredible decor and florals by Mandap World. The lush white, red, and blush floral arrangements were divine, and we loved the ornately carved, white gate welcoming the guests and bridal party to the ballroom - It created such an impressive statement! And of course, the white mandap with uplighting and intricate draping was stunning. The beautiful couple had a meaningful, traditional ceremony, and looked so happy to be married. Maharani Bijal glowed in her gold and red lehenga and glamorous makeup applied by Yasmin. DJ Jaz provided the incredible music for the events, including traditional sounds to create a romantic ambiance at the ceremony, and energetic beats for the baraat and reception. After the ceremony, the couple had a very emotional send-off - we definitely teared up a bit watching it! The happy newlyweds then departed their venue in style, in Bijal's brother's beautiful BMW. Maharanis, watch the video below for more from this incredible wedding!
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Rohit took me on a surprise vacation to Hawaii. I thought it was just another great vacation that he would take me on. During the vacation, he took me on a tour of Maui called the Road to Hana. There was a beautiful waterfall that he proposed to me under. It was totally unexpected, and I was totally surprised and taking back, and of course I said YES!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Rohit and I selected my bridal lengha in Dubai. I tried on so many different wedding outfits and I knew I wanted a red and gold one. We finally found one that we both loved.

Planning was fun! My family was very instrumental in planning, My parents worked on the food and menu, my sister and brother helped with DJ, hair and makeup, decor and cake and outfits. My fiancé and my sister helped with outfits. We also had a wedding planner that helped with the two days. We had our wedding at The Chattanoogan Hotel in Chattanooga, TN. The venue was a nice hotel with a beautiful ballroom. It worked out well because our out of town guest were able to stay at the venue and attend all of the events. I tried on so many outfits for all different events. All Indian outfits are beautiful. I was looking for a different color for the garba (I went with coral and blue), and for my reception I went with my favorite color which is blue.
Regarding hair and makeup, Yesmin Hetherington, did my hair and makeup for my garba, wedding, and reception, she did a great job. We worked with Mandap World for decor for all 4 events. They did a very good job. Cake was from Publix - It was delicious. We kept the top part of the cake to eat the next day with our families. I love cake and it was delicious! We had DJ Jaz from Atlanta, GA help with all 4 events, They are a fabulous team to work with. We had a local indian restaurant cater all of the food for all 4 events, Dosa Hut in Chattanooga, TN. My parents were instrumental in picking out the menu items. My parents did a great job. We also had a few American dishes catered from the Chattanoogan.
