We're on Cloud 9 after reliving this Indian wedding film by House of Talent that is luxury personified! The opening scene began at The Merion, where hearts were racing as Ruchi and Parth prepared for their big day. Maharani Ruchi was a breathtaking goddess, embellished in a who's who of the most coveted designer details, including a ruby Sabyasachi lehenga and glittering Christian Louboutin heels. The Merion was adorned in the most fabulous floral and decor elements by Abhishek Decorators, such as golden Ganeshas and fresh blooms. We're particularly tickled by the circular mandap that resembled something out of a fairy tale, befitting royal Ruchi and her Prince Charming Parth. Ruchi's bridesmaids were giddy in their purple anarkalis, eagerly waiting for their beloved friend to make her way down the aisle. When the main Maharani finally stepped outdoors, a collective gasp announced her arrival. The pristine ceremony was drenched in sunshine and surrounded by vibrant green foliage. As the couple departed the space, their adoring guests showered them with grains of rice and happy tears. Excuse us while we hit replay and bask in the beauty of this gorgeous event. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?

Our story began in September 2009 at Drexel University, in Philadelphia, PA. We were both beginning our first year of college as undergraduates. After a mutual friend introduced us, we realized we were in a few of the same classes. Parth was very fond of my study guides and would use them the night before an exam, meanwhile I’d be studying diligently for weeks for the same exam. Guess who scored higher? Parth did, and I had a fit, every single time. A pretty turbulent semester allowed us to get to know each other. Throughout the rest of the semester we became good friends. Best friends. Our journey took off from there and has not slowed down since.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

We began planning our wedding starting with the venues. I had a difficult time finding a hair/makeup artist and after contacting a handful and coming to a dead end, Parth found Maliha Khan, who was a dream come true! My mom and I went to Delhi to do my wedding shopping, not only mine but everyone in both families.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

I saw my bridal lengha across the room and just knew it was the one. I loved the dark red/maroon color and the pink chunni, it was so elegant and different.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?

The most enjoyable part was spending tons of time with family

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

They loved the outdoor theme, how well organized it was and the ambience.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

I remember when walking down the aisle, I was staring at Parth’s face and just remember seeing him smiling at me. That look he gave me was so precious.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
