Today’s sweethearts Sheily & Raju decided to join their lives in an incredible scenery, the Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, California. This amazing 200,000-acre property gathered the couple’s closest family and friends to share the joy of this special occasion. Before the ceremony the couple shared their vows in the sweetest intimate first look moment I have seen! Both lovebirds had a grand entry, Raju rode a white baraat horse thanks to Enchanted Carriages and Sheily entered the ceremony in an spectacular golden doli worthy of a princess. It was a glorious day for the couple to exchange their vows in an outdoor ceremony that mixed the natural beauty of the background landscapes and a romantic rustic mandap. This open-air wedding was all put together by top wedding planner BEL Event Productions, who took care of everything making sure not one chair was out of place. The venue had so much to offer and all guests enjoyed the greenery, animals and open spaces for them to relax as the sun went down. The outdoor soiree was as beautiful as the ceremony, the CasiCielo team, created a swoon-worthy eucalyptus floral centerpieces, making them a great addition to the lights hanging from great old trees! Once the party was kicked off, 3D sounds set the mood for a vibrant celebration that lasted all night long! The bride and groom had their first dance in an enchanting dance floor and later they were joined by all the attendees. Everyone had a blast during this epic night! Joe Latter Photography captured all the best poses, and we are so grateful that Robert Michael Films shared his romantic visual creation with us to relive such a big day in the film below! Totally a tearjerker!
Stay tuned for tomorrow when we share more enchanting love!
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met in college in 2002. Knew he was the one? Probably back in 2012 when our friendship turned into more!
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We were in Vancouver, in the rain, for his birthday, and he surprised me on Capilano suspension bridge (a very narrow, unsteady, high bridge!) and proposed in the rain =)
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Loved working with DreaVMakeup, BEL events (thank you Dana!), Anchal Designer Gallery for my outfits, and the entire outdoor setting that was natural with greenery and beautiful lights.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I wanted watermelon but honestly just tried on a bunch of outfits and when I had that special feeling, I pulled the trigger. Same with the reception outfit - I wanted champagne and a gown.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Spending time with my hubby to be and aligning on decisions - we had the same look and feel that we wanted.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Outdoors, lights, winery, magical scenery.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Hmm good question -> Pausing when we gave our speech to thank everyone and seeing all of the beautiful faces who came out to celebrate us!
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
