Happy Monday, ladies! Wedding features keep on coming and it is so exciting to witness all the different visions, styles, and ideas that our Maharanis have for their dream day. Today, we set sail to New Jersey for Aditi & Dhruv's incredibly romantic nuptials held at The Legacy Castle. The celebrations were so out there that we just had to share them with you all! The film of the day comes thanks to Krishna Yalla who did an amazing job capturing the essence of the various celebrations and rituals that helped our couple tie the knot for the rest of their lives. Such an amazing cinematic experience as you will appreciate! I was so impressed by the color palette chosen for the decoration. The gorgeous tones of coral, blush pink and peach, gave the wedding a touch of tenderness as well as elegance and it was just so beautiful. The masters behind this beauty? The team from Ask Neha Now of course. True pros! Also, we know that our couples always want their guests to feel as amazing as they do, for this reason, the newlyweds recruited the best Bollywood dance company AATMA Performing Arts, who gave that extra touch of Hindu flair to the entire spree. This one is a no miss, ladies, so, hit play and relive what went on for Aditi & Dhruv's grand Indian wedding.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We were introduced by the groom's family friend and the bride's cousin. There was a long delay in meeting due to me never answering my phone calls with a number I do not recognize or checking my voice messages! I knew he was the one on the second date where we spent many hours talking and getting to know each other over dinner, drinks and of course dessert.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Dhruv proposed close to a year after we first met when we took our first big trip together to Bali. It was new years eve during sunset at the gorgeous Rock bar at the Ayana Resort.
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We both have big loving families, so having them involved and helping was both important and a huge blessing! We knew early on that we needed a day of coordinator for the wedding and reception being our guest count was 550 people! Neha (@asknehanow) came in full force with all her expertise to help us make the day go by smoothly. We fell in love with Legacy castle at first sight and once the venue was booked, everything else slowly fell into place.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I have a love affair with Sabyasachi's aesthetic and am a huge admirer! His clothes look like something out of a dream. Nostalgia, old-world glamour, opulence, sophistication and refinement. I now know why I love his designs so much..it reminds me of my childhood. The years I spent in Mumbai when it was still Bombay! There was no question in my mind that I HAD to be the quintessential Sabysachi bride. I did not want to go the traditional 'Red' route and tried many different colors prior to finding the perfect pink.
For the reception, I wanted to compliment the opulent venue and our decor and theme which was "it was written in the stars". It was an embellished all gold @Jade gown with a sexy see thru back. The groom wore a custom-tailored Navy blue suit with a gold raw silk tie from @enzocustom.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Our favorite part of the wedding process was getting our extended family involved in so many different aspects of the wedding. It got everyone even more excited about the big day and seeing so many peoples vision, dreams and prayers come true on that big day was something very special.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There are two really special moments that play in my mind when I think about my wedding day. The first was the moment I walked down the aisle with my 4 brothers holding each corner of the floral canopy that they built and decorated. In that moment I had a flashback to when I was a little girl and my grandfather telling me that his 4 grandsons were his limbs and stability. I asked him naively 'what about me?!'. He said you're right here in the middle, you're my heart. The second moment was at our reception during our first dance when we both looked at each other and realized we are really married! At that moment the snow machine started blowing the flakes above us and the cold pyro fireworks created a magical moment where it was just me and Dhruv and I forgot about everything else for those few seconds.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
On your big day- Take a deep breath, know that your day is going to be FABULOUS and enjoy every minute of it because it goes by way too quickly to stress or despair over the little things!
Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
Jewelry- Original pieces of my grandmothers and before that great grandmother's heritage gold jewelry was used to create the necklace I wore during the wedding ceremony. @shobhashringar worked with us to custom make this beautiful sentimental necklace. It features an intricately carved Ganesh adorned around uncut diamonds, pearls, rubies, and a carved emerald.
Mehndi- I wanted the art on my hands to speak volumes about me. I wanted the design to be intricate and clean. Also, wanted to incorporate skyline of Mumbai (where I was born) on one side and NYC skyline (where Dhruv was born) on the other side. I was very picky about the mehndi artist I chose and @hennabypallavi exceeded all my expectations. She is an absolute delight to work with. She has a passion for her art and its very visible to anyone who looks at her clean lines and neat work.
Makeup/Styling - Susmita Patel is a magician and extremely talented, to say the least. She knew exactly the look to go for- clean beauty with Indian touches of a simple round bindi and mogra gajras.
Check out another great wedding highlight film tomorrow!
