Do you remember Shree & Hiten's incredibly grand Indian wedding celebration? We know you do, an event with that amount of glam and style can't be forgotten that easily. Today, and in partnership with the amazing crew from Studio Nine Photography + Cinema, we have a film that showcases all of what went on for that unique day of Hindu jubilee. Our newlyweds surrounded themselves with only true Indian wedding pros and for this reason, there was absolutely no doubt that their bash was going to be as grand and glittery as ever. The Newport News Marriott at City Center looked its best to host the gala while the planning and design were in charge of the genius team of Dream Shaadi. The music was in the hands of DJ RAJ Entertainment & Event Lighting, who as we already know, brings the house down every time a Maharani gets married. The culinary wonders were courtesy of none other than Sukhadia Caterers. Their distinctive flavor and service rank them high in this wedding's vendor list! Ladies, this bash was just something else as we will see. Maharani Shree was the definition of true Hindu beauty and Styles By Swati - Salon SBS had a lot to do with that. Such an amazing job with her hair and makeup! A lot went on but the images remain, so hit play below and relieve them with us one more time!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met through a friend, and I knew he was the one because there was never any doubt.

One day my sister-in-law, Sheena, planned a spa day with me. The morning of the spa day we both went and got our nails done, facials, and body massages. I had also made plans to go out to dinner that night with Hiten as well. I assumed it would be a normal date night that we usually had. Hiten also knew I had an obsession with aquariums, so he took me to the Houston Aquarium because they have a restaurant in it. Once we got there, they told us they have a table in front of one of their largest fish tanks and if we wanted it. I was on cloud nine knowing our view would be a fish tank. We sat down and I was completely mesmerized by the tank and the fishes in it. The waiter came along and gave us menus, and as I was looking at the menu Hiten kept asking me what I was in the mood for. I'm assuming he did that to make sure I was distracted and kept my face looking downward. Hiten then calls my name and I look at him, and he is looking at the tank. I turn and look at the tank and there is a woman inside the tank holding a sign that said, "Shree, Will You Marry Me?" I will never forget that night for the rest of my life.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I had moved to Texas before I had gotten married, and the only help we really had were my parents and myself. My hair and make-up artist, Styles By Swati, suggested I speak with a dear friend of hers that is a wedding planner for the company Dream Shaadi. From the first conversation I had with Sumeet and I hit it off immediately. None of this would have been possible without Sumeet. Right from the get-go he started handling the majority of the wedding for us. He helped us find our decor (Imperial Decor), caterer (Sukhadia Foods), my cake (Scratch Bakery), and much much more. The most detailed event was our reception. Everyone knows I have this obsession and love for the ocean and quite a few of the animals within it. I planned my reception to be ocean themed to the best of my ability. I had even personalized bottles with messages in them for the guests, which had sand and seashells in them. My charger plates were also coral reef chargers, and my cake had a seashell theme to it.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I went shopping with my mom, cousin, and my aunt in India to do all of my shopping. I had no idea what I wanted, but when I knew I just knew.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Being able to surround myself with both of our families. The love and support that I had gotten from both mine and Hiten's family was absolutely amazing.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Honestly...EVERYTHING!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The speech I had made to my parents, Hiten, and the guests of the venue right before I had walked down the aisle. No one knew it was coming, and I was behind closed doors. From what I was told it had set the tone in the venue and emotions were noteworthy.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Remember this time only comes once, so if things go wrong just brush it off. Because the wedding will be amazing and perfect as long as you're feeling amazing and perfect! Make memories that'll last forever!
