Atlanta, GA Indian Wedding by Hakim's Studio

Good morning, Maharanis! Our filmy day has finally arrived with Hazel & Steven's marvelous celebration. These lovebirds had all the time to enjoy themselves thanks to Red & Gold Events' fantastic team behind the scenes to plan the event. This couple went for their dream, indeed! The whole celebration turned into a fairytale with the gorgeous carriages Nottingham Shire and Carriage for Hire provided and Rebecca Biskup in charge of the artistic cake. Hazel & Steven's ceremony and reception took place at Emory University, enchanting everyone with its warm aura. Of course, the embellishment of the venue couldn't be missing, and our lovely couple trusted Divine Decor Atlanta's impeccable skills to deliver the perfect adornment for their day while Cafe Bombay Indian Bistro delighted the guests with their culinary mastery. Exclusive Entertainment Events replenished the mystical scenery with a lively ambiance and Supreme Dholis' natural musical talent to escort our couple at all times. The soft melodies were heavenly, and so was Hazel! Our Maharani looked angelic with her sparkly lengha and enchanting smile. She had Color Impressions by Saba's experts to help enhance her magnificent features and the talented Forever Beauty by Manisha to do her magic and deliver the most artistic mehndi a Maharani could imagine. Hazel's soulmate, Steven, was amazed by her while looking gorgeous himself! Staring at each other's eyes, these sweethearts tell us all we need to know about devotion; their love is clear as water at any given moment. The phenomenal team of Hakim's Studio, with their unbelievable expertise, will take us back in time to Hazel & Steven's fabulous wedding day through an enthralling film that you can find right below. Maharanis, you'll feel this couple's adoration through the magical scenes only this well-known artist could do.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Steven and I met in 2014 when we were both in the Georgia Tech Marching Band. We became good friends during our time in college, but it wasn't until after I graduated from GT in 2016 that we really reconnected. While I was pursuing my Master's at Georgia State and Steven was finishing up his degree at Georgia Tech, we spent more and more time together. We quickly realized that we were perfect for one another.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Within a few months of dating, Steven and I knew that we were going to get married one day. We had even picked out our wedding date (10.10.2020) and would get engaged sometime before then. After we both graduated in May 2018, we started more seriously thinking about our engagement. I had a very specific engagement ring in mind, so I asked my relatives in India to have it made and shipped to us. When it arrived at our house, I gave the ring to Steven and told him to do whatever we wanted with it; it was now in his hands (literally).

Steven and I would put "Date Nights" on our shared calendar and would take turns planning the events. Steven used one of the "Date Nights" to plan a day full of surprises and memories. I knew we were going to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens' 'Garden Nights, Holiday Lights' event. However, before we got there, Steven took me to one of our favorite Atlanta restaurants and to a few of our regular Atlanta hangout spots. It was a day of activities that we would be doing for the rest of our lives. While at the Gardens, we strolled through all of the beautiful scenery. When we reached the poinsettia wall, Steven got down on one knee and proposed. I barely remember what he said because I was crying and could barely see. I think he was crying a little too. I do remember saying "YES!". We left the Gardens and when we got home, Steven had gathered our parents and friends to surprise me with a celebration! It was a day full of happiness and excitement.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Planning our wedding was one of the most difficult things I've done. The majority of my family lives out-of-state or out-of-country, so I did most of the planning on my own (and with Steven's help). I turned to social media for inspiration and guidance, especially Maharani Weddings. In planning and designing our wedding, I wanted to capture all of the beauty and tradition of a Hindu ceremony.

Our venue was the Emory Conference Center Hotel, and it was perfect. Because I've had a lot of bad luck with rain, I knew I wanted to have an indoor ceremony. However, I also wanted the beauty of natural light. ECCH has a stand-alone pavilion surrounded by greenery that was perfect for our ceremony location. They also had a bowling alley on the premises that we were able to use as entertainment for our guests in between the ceremony and reception.

We were fortunate to visit India in March 2020 (right before the COVID-19 pandemic hit and shut everything down!), and did all of our clothing and jewelry shopping there with the help of my Mama and Mami. While it was difficult to have such a limited amount of time to get a lot done, it was exciting to share the experience with Steven.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
As a creative person, I thoroughly enjoyed incorporating my own style into every element of the wedding. I designed and printed our wedding invitations, created an informational guide to the ceremony, created custom signs and decor for all of our wedding events, and personalized gifts for our family members and wedding party. Steven and I worked together to add our touch to every piece of the wedding weekend, and it really made each event feel special.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Due to the pandemic-related travel restrictions, the majority of my family were unable to travel from India and England to attend the wedding. Even many of our out-of-state family members were unable to join. Consequently, our wedding was primarily attended by our (American) friends. Since many of our guests had never attended an Indian, Hindu wedding before, they were enamored with every part of it. Seeing my hands and feet covered in mehendi, covering me and Steven in the haldi paste, dancing alongside Steven while he rode on a horse, witnessing the traditions of a Hindu ceremony, enjoying the dances at the reception... everything was a hit. And if nothing else, drinking mango lassi is always a fan-favorite.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
After the toasts, Steven and I had an opportunity to thank all of our guests. Standing on the stage and looking out at our loved ones, I was in tears. I was grateful that despite all of the challenges that we’d faced in making this day come together, it was finally here and we were able to share this moment with so many of our family and friends. Even though we were missing loved ones, being surrounded by so many wonderful people truly filled our hearts. There will never be another moment where we have that many people in one room to celebrate us. It was humbling.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
Steven and I actually got legally married on October 10, 2020 in an intimate ceremony with our family and closest friends. We asked a dear friend of ours to serve as the officiant, and we prepared our own vows. We had not originally planned to do this, but once the pandemic hit, we knew that we would not be able to have the big Indian wedding we dreamed of in 2020. So, we postponed the huge celebration and had a small ceremony instead. We knew our wedding date was meant to be 10.10.2020 (even before we got engaged), and the pandemic was not going to stop us. Despite a hurricane passing through Atlanta on that day (I told you I had bad luck with rain), we had a wonderful time. And then in 2021, we were able to celebrate our 1-year anniversary with all of the festivities that we originally imagined.

And that's a wrap, ladies. I'll see you soon with more happily ever afters!

Schaumburg, IL Indian Wedding by Gandhi Films and Photo

Wednesday is here, Maharanis! I am eager to share this marvelous story starring Siddhi & Parthiv. These lovebirds have been planning their wedding day for years! And they finally were able to celebrate their extraordinary love on a warm summer day at Chicago Marriott Schaumburg. The luxurious venues were ideal for such a unique celebration, complemented with the stunning decor only JD Event Design could provide. The excellent planning and design were in charge of the one and only JD Eventz. Thanks to this team, our charming newlyweds could enjoy the day without worry. Hey ladies, let me tell you all about our Maharani's exquisite fashion taste. I have to say, one of my favorite looks was her wedding outfit from Gauri Alkapuri. She was stunning! Makeup by Sonu Patel's artistic makeup design for our lovely bride accentuated her features, not to mention Anisha Creations' mehndi art. You won't believe how gorgeous it looks! And the charming groom, Parthiv, looked dashing with his traditional attire from Sequinze. These sweethearts know how to make an impression! Siddhi & Parthiv had Dholmaster Sherlock in the DJ cabin getting the attendants on their feet and dancing to his lively music set. I am sure India House's catering services were exquisite, as always, to delight our couple's beloved guests. The newlyweds would want to cherish their big day for eternity, so they trusted the skills of the magnificent Gandhi Films and Photo team to capture their undeniable love. The mesmerizing video is right here, so you can also be a part of this sweet romance. My dears, this perfect visual masterpiece awaits you! Click play and fall in love!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Parthiv and I met during undergrad at the University of Illinois Chicago. We met our freshman year and were friends throughout. Just another Indian couple who met at UIC. Shocking! Sparks didn’t fly till our senior year, however, we were both too stubborn to acknowledge it. Despite being away for graduate school, we continued to connect and here we are a decade later. His nickname is Party, my nickname is Sid, hence #PartywithSid!

I knew Parthiv was the one when one night after a date my car battery died. He drove to get jump cables, started my car, and then followed my car home to make sure nothing else happened (and he lived in the opposite direction 45 mins away!).

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Parthiv and two of his cousins have their birthday in November. They planned a cousin’s birthday party in Chicago. Three weeks before that, my friend was trying on dresses for a wedding she was attending, she and my other friend convinced me to buy this red dress I fell in love which my friend was wearing (little did I know they were ensuring I wore something beautiful to my proposal). His cousin's wife took me to get our nails done the day before just because (little did I know she was ensuring I had my nails done for the proposal). Parthiv insisted before we go out we should get some quick food, he really wanted Busy Burger (a place were visited A LOT at UIC). We decided we would get food and then meet everyone out. Parthiv called an uber and as we got closer towards UIC campus, he said let’s go take a walk (that’s when I knew!). We walked to the UIC quad and he proposed. It was perfect proposing at the place where our relationship started.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We originally planned our wedding for May 2020(yes, we were one of many couples impacted by the pandemic). We canceled all our events, moved into our new house, got court married November 2020, and eventually had our wedding weekend August 2021. From engagement to our actual wedding celebrations, we have been planning this wedding for 2+ years!

I did a significant amount of research on all vendors/venues, I have PowerPoints, charts, and excel files to prove it. As a detailed oriented person, I wanted to make sure I looked at many aspects before choosing something. The running joke at the reception was my 47 page wedding weekend timeline (including pictures of locations individuals need to be at, floor outlines, and even the exact time Parthiv needs to wake up, shower, and leave his groom suite).

Our venue and vendors were amazing from beginning to end. They were with us pre-pandemic helping us plan, they went out of their way to accommodate us as we worked thru finding another a date the year after, and they advised on things that I didn’t even think about having in the timeline.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Being the detailed oriented person, I did my research for two months straight before going to India. I knew the color, fabric, design, and style I wanted. My first day of wedding shopping, we went to Gauri-Alkapuri in Baroda, India. I pretty much chose my dress within 2 hours because I knew exactly what would work for me. I choose red because I wanted the wedding ceremony to have a classic romantic vibe. My red bridal lengha popped amongst the white tent and mandap.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
I secretly did enjoy spending hours on researching, making all those excel files and the 47-page timeline. I enjoy planning, coordinating, and organizing!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Everyone was just excited to be together! The pandemic distanced family and friends. We were all excited to safely be in one place to party the night away. Every single person in that room was impacted by COVID in some way, and like my cousin said during the reception, everyone deserves a round of applause for preserving.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
I still can’t stop thinking about the amazing dances we had at our reception. Special shout out to our 30 person bridal party and group of friends for the skit and dance, it represented the bride, groom, and the relationship!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
For my Grah Shanti and mehndi, I wanted to honor the traditional values, the respect and love in my circle of friends/family, and the fun relationship of the bride and groom. For my Grah Shanti, I wore the blouse my sister wore to her Grah Shanti 6 years prior (my something old!). Our Mahrej for this event was a close family friend who did my sister’s Grah Shanti and my cousin’s Ganesh thapia. For my mehndi, we celebrated Raksha Bandhan, danced to songs my friends and I performed at other weddings, and set up some pictures of Parthiv and I as we went thru college. A special moment: my sister and I danced to the same song to each other (Phoolon Ka Taron Sabka Kehna Hai). We surprised each other with it!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
It is acceptable to over plan, although things will happen out of your control, you know you put your 200% towards it while it is executed. It is also acceptable to overthink before deciding because when it is executed you know you looked at all aspects prior.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
The coolest part, our wedding photographer/videographer did my parents wedding 30 plus years ago in India! I love that I can say the person who took pictures at my wedding is the same person who took pictures at my parent’s wedding. Other unique details
1. We booked our wedding/reception venue while it was still being remolded(they didn’t even have floor down in the ballroom yet!). We booked it sight unseen (except pictures).
2. My grahshanti and mehndi venue, I found it while doing deep research on the Maharani wedding posts.
3. Our wedding table numbers were in gujurati numbers (a nod to our BIG gujurati families!)

And that's a wrap, Maharanis. Keep coming back for more romance!

Hello, my Maharanis! I hope you are having a lovely day. The middle of the week is here, and today we have Dharti & Ankur's love story to share with you. Our sweethearts decided to celebrate the beginning of their life together at The Meadow Wood. This venue offers the privacy and commodity special occasions deserve and their full range of professionals ready to assist their clients at any given time. Dharti & Ankur enjoyed their day surrounded by friends and family at this gorgeous place with some delicious cuisine from the Palace Of Asia Restaurant and the beautiful decor Elegant Affairs did for this occasion. Our couple also trusted Jay Rana Events to keep everyone on the dance floor with a lively music set that no one could resist and some outstanding performances from Medley Entertainment's talented musicians. Speaking of irresistible, our bride was enchanting! Dharti chose a daring range of colors for her attires, and she did it flawlessly! Cinderella Bridez outdid themselves with Dharti's makeup, and the delicate mehndi art Mehndikalogie did for her was fantastic. Our Maharani was resplendent at all times with her soulmate, Ankur, by her side. They looked fabulous, ladies. Their appearance was just a plus, though, since their love was the shiniest thing throughout the celebration. An everlasting love like theirs is unforgettable, and PhotosMadeEz captured all of these feelings and more in a splendid video. You can be a part of Dharti & Ankur's romance by clicking the play button below. So wait no more to be amazed, dears!

Jersey City, NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by Lightyear Studio

Good morning, my dears! I hope you are having a splendid Wednesday. Our filmy day has arrived with a captivating story for all of us to be inspired. Our charming shooting stars of the day, Hina & Neel, knew they were meant to be together and decided to be each other's one and only. These lovebirds knew every detail must be impeccable for such a unique wedding celebration. And to ensure this, they got in touch with The Royal Collection to task them one of the essential items for their big day, the invitations! That first detail made this event unforgettable! Maharanis, their wedding was spectacular! They started with a lovely Sangeet celebration at the Envue Hotel. The couple got everything they had ever dreamed of for their special day, including Hina's dreamy look. The Glass Slipper Wedding beautifully did her hair and makeup. They undoubtedly gave the bride's day a magical touch. Our enchanting Maharani's lengha was as marvelous as it was radiant, and ladies, she looked gorgeous! Our lovebirds, Hina and Neel, chose the magnificent venue Maritime Parc to host their reception, complementing the place's elegance with fabulous decor from Elegant Affairs. Believe me, Maharanis, the setting of this ceremony was breathtaking! Of course, this celebration of love couldn't be complete without vibrant music, and the elite crew from Luxe Event Group had everything covered. They played the best of the best for the guests to be on their feet all night long! I am sure no one wanted to leave the dance floor at any given moment! Studio KSD captured fabulous photographs for our couple to cherish during their life journey! Maharanis, I am delighted to share this story with you thanks to the impeccable work Lightyear Studio did while recording every single instant of this wedding. Sweeties, I know you will be amazed by Hina & Neel's lovely video below.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
It's a modern day romance. We met on Bumble. At the time I worked as an Emergency Medicine resident in New York City with a busy schedule and Neel was a health care consultant from north Jersey who traveled a lot. As any young professional living in the tri-state, we turned to dating apps to help us look for love as we balanced a heavy work load and busy social lives.

I knew he was the one probably 6 months into our relationship. Any one that knows Neel, knows he is pretty easy to love. He is fun, out-going, and most of all caring. He likes to take care of his friends and family. There wasn't a single moment that made me realized he was "the one". Rather, as our relationship grew, so did our love. Not to mention, I may have fallen in love with Lucky, his family dog, first.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Neel is very big on creating the “perfect” experience. So with no surprise he put all of his skills at work to create our magical moment.

Neel & I both had a vacation scheduled in the middle of the summer. I really wanted to go somewhere new, but Neel convinced me on Napa because he was already going to be in California for work.

I remember the week before our vacation, he had a work trip to PA. I didn't think anything of it because he often went there for client meetings. Little did I know this "work trip" was an actual visit to my parents' to ask for my hand in marriage.

I remember being on a slow shift in the ER, when one of my co-residents started asking me about my vacation plans. I told him I was going to Napa, and he asked, "Ohh, is Neel proposing?" "What? No!" I said, but then started secretly hoping he would. But how could he? He doesn't know what kind of ring I like. Does he even remember my size?

I arrived in San Francisco, and Neel was eagerly waiting to pick me up. We went out for dinner and got rolled ice cream for dessert. We spent the next day exploring San Francisco as it was my first time there. I thought Neel would have had the entire trip planned. However, our trip initially seemed very spontaneous. We were looking for things to do online and looking at places to eat on Yelp. We tried to get reservations to massages, but none were available last minute. No way was he prepared to propose, I thought.

The next day we drove up to Napa. We had a nice brunch and were luckily able to reserve massages for that morning. Later that afternoon we drove to a vineyard for some wine tasting. We arrived at Bennet Lane Winery where Neel had reserved a private tour. We tasted different wines, learned about their history, and toured their vineyard. Towards the end, our host recommended we go outside as there is a picturesque outlook. I got excited for the photo op, and Neel went to use the bathroom where he got secretly mic-ed up. We walked outside and saw the most scenic outlook of mountains and greenery. I saw a table with a bouquet of flowers and champagne. I asked Neel if the table was for us, when suddenly he held my hands and started rambling. I couldn't believe what was happening. He was proposing! He got down on one knee, I said yes, and that day went down in history. Looking back, Neel had chosen Napa for this trip because it was in Napa, the year before, where we had first said "I love you" to one another.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Our wedding was originally scheduled in Jersey City of August 2020. We had a family trip planned to India in April 2020 for wedding shopping. Both of our parents and siblings were planning to join us with much excitement. The excitement was short-lived when we got news about the first coronavirus case in New York (distinctly remember this as I was on a ER shift, and our staff was getting prepared for more cases and we were advised not to travel). Soon the city shut down, and everyone was in quarantine.

Neel and I were still hopeful that by August things would be better. However in May we made the call to postpone to 2021. Instead, we had an intimate backyard wedding on May 30, 2020 with our parents, siblings my grandma, and a few close friends via Zoom. Neel's best friend since childhood, Hiral, officiated this wedding. It was a special day. Our goal was to share our happiness with more of our loved ones exactly one year later- May 30, 2021 and keep the same anniversary!

Wedding planning is stressful to begin with, add on a pandemic and the stress triples. We were on a hunt for a new photographer, which was tough because we loved our original (priyanca rao photography); she had prior commitments to another wedding she was going to shoot. We also had to cut a 400+ guest count to 150 guests. We then realized less than 3 months before our wedding we'd have to find a new venue. Our original venue had not opened up since the beginning of the pandemic, and their opening date kept getting pushed. We made the call to get a refund and look for another venue in March 2021 to have our wedding on Memorial Day weekend, a very popular wedding weekend. We were fortunate to find Maritime Parc on such short notice as they had a cancelation on Memorial Day weekend.

Hair & Make Up- Maliha Khan, who's been in the industry for so long. She was easy to get a long with and made me look gorgeous with different looks for my Sangeet, Wedding and Reception.

Hair & Make Up for Bridal Party- Glass Slipper Wedding. I had a ton of changes through out the process in the number of people and services that were needed. They were always professional, responded to emails in a timely manner and overall very easy to work with.

Decor: Elegant Affairs. Well-experienced. Made our visions come to life. Sangeet was held at Envue Autograph hotel in Weehawken, a modern hotel and Elegant affairs delivered in giving us a modern colorful feel for the Sangeet. Ceremony mandap was beautiful and matched our theme of baby pink perfectly.

DJ BK from Luxe Entertainment- Loved working with him. He's very down to earth and made our Sangeet and Reception nights to remember. All of our guests still talk about how much fun they had partying with us. We had a very talented tabla player and violinist for our cocktail hour that wow-ed everyone. We also had a live singer who performed during a part of our first dance and did a small segment during the dance party.

Planner- Pearls Events. We worked with Chandni leading up to the wedding and she was great. She and the day-of coordinators were on top of our tight scheduled and easily fixed any bumps we ran into along the way.

Video- Lightyear Video, haven't received our video yet but we are super excited to see the highlights!

Photo: Studio KSD. I loved Tina and her team. It rained ALL weekend during our wedding. Tina was very professional. We had a few meetings with her prior to the wedding and were able to discuss what was important to us when it came to capture our day. She captured every event beautifully despite all the rain. We got our photos about two weeks ago and I still can't stop looking at them!

Caterer- Amiya from Jersey City. Loved the food for all 3 events. We wanted something unique from the usual Indian weddings and Amiya did a fantastic job. Abha was very sweet, and we enjoyed working with her.

Cake- Palermo's bakery. Neel's family has known the owners of Palermo for quite some time which made this decision a no-brainer. My aunt, Pinal, owner of Style Me Sweet Cakes is a fantastic cake decorator. I asked her to decorate our cake with fresh flowers. She designed it beautifully to match our reception decor.

Stationary- The Royal Collection Invites. We had our logo, welcome bags, welcome signs, wedding programs, and reception menus designed with Dhwani and we loved the final products. The wedding program, especially, was my favorite given we had fun facts about me and Neel on one side and it was fun to make!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Since we couldn't go to India, I started shopping locally. We came across Shilpa Gandhi Studio. Priyanka who manages the company lives in Jersey City and we were able to personally visit her and see some of the pieces they've created. We were able to discuss with Shilpa, the designer who is from Toronto, through video calls of what I was envisioning. Her team is in India who makes all the clothing.

I always knew I wanted red for my wedding outfit. After a few meetings with Priyanka and Shilpa we were able to decide on the design and create both mine and Neel's outfits for the Sangeet and Wedding. Though Covid made things challenging, we were very happy with the end results!

My reception outfit and all my jewelry (Mehendi, Sangeet, Wedding, Reception) was from Nazranaa in Iselin, NJ. Family members have bought several beautiful pieces from them and had worn them to our wedding!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Honestly, planning was really tough. Given the postponement and a lot of other issues that are typically not encountered pre-Covid, my favorite part was practicing our first dance and our Sangeet dance with Neel. I love dancing, so it was a way for me to destress this way. Neel would say otherwise, because I often yelled at him for messing up or forgetting a step. But during the stressful planning process, it was my time to dance in his arms, temporarily forgetting about all the things we still had left to do.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I think everyone just loved getting together and celebrating love. With the pandemic, there was a lot of isolation and it had a been some time since all of our loved ones were together under one roof. Our family still raves about how much fun they had, and it makes our hearts full. From the food, dancing, music, and entertainment- it was all magical!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Neel and I had decided to do wedding gifts for one another for the big day. For Neel, I decided to get a customized New York Times baseball book and a cameo from Mariano Rivera, a hall of fame New York Yankee, because Neel is the self proclaimed biggest Yankees fan ever! Neel got me Venus Et Fleur forever roses and customized YSL his and her scents. One of my bridesmaid had told me to get a new scent for the big day because every time I'd wear that scent in the future, I would think back to our wedding day. It was one of the details that fell under the crack as I just didn't get the time to go shopping for it. I had told Neel about it one night weeks before our wedding, and he remembered!

The exchange of these gifts and reading our letters to one another the morning after our first look and before the wedding ceremony was a moment that constantly replays in my mind. I unexpectedly started to cry when I started to read mine. Weddings can be chaotic, especially ours with a jam-packed 4-day schedule. That moment with just me and him was perfect and one that I will cherish forever.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
It's stressful, and everything won't go exactly as planned no matter how much you stress. Try to enjoy the process as much as possible and remember that no matter what, it's going to be your day and it will be memorable.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
Bridesmaids bouquet- Surina, a friend of mine kindly offered to make them the day before the ceremony.
Bridesmaid dresses- DV Custom Dresses (deevineeti.etsy.com)
Groomsmen clothes- Deen Fashion from Jersey City
My Vidhi was at The Royal Albert Palace Nilkamal Hall. The DJ for my Vidhi was DJ Jeet, a family friend from Absolute Desi Entertainment.

It truly takes a village- we are so thankful for all our family and friends to help make our dreams come true!

This is all for today, Maharanis. Keep coming back for more romantic moments!
