Our tale begins at a middle school dance in Hershey Park, PA, the sweetest place on Earth. It was here that Shruti & Sahaj's journey took its first step. Little did they know, this friendship would transform into a love that would withstand time and distance. After years of long-distance, countless airport goodbyes, and bimonthly reunions (which, I imagine, involved more joyful leaps than those cheesy rom-com montages), Sahaj sealed the deal in front of Foster City Lake, and from that moment on, the countdown to their epic wedding day was officially on!

In a beautiful twist, Shruti took on the planning and design herself, proving that a wedding professional is as dedicated as the bride. When it comes to love, Armed with an army of supportive friends and family and a stellar team of vendors, Shruti pulled together a celebration that was simply breathtaking. The venue was magically transformed into an Indian fairytale, with Wedding Design and Decor providing the floral magic that turned each corner into an exquisite garden of dreams. Shruti dazzled in her exquisite Raj Gharana bridal outfit. Makeup by Anu Sarin added the perfect finishing touch, ensuring she looked like a true queen.

And let's not forget about the beats that kept the dance floor alive, courtesy of DJ Raj Entertainment, a vendor who deserves a standing ovation for spinning tunes that had everyone moving until their feet begged for mercy! Shruti & Sahaj's wedding was full of incredible moments. Take, for instance, the surprise 10-minute dance their friends pulled together during the sangeet—a choreographed retelling of their love story that was both heartwarming and, if we're being honest, probably a little embarrassing (in the best possible way). Pandya Photography beautifully captured the celebration, ensuring every laugh and happy tear was preserved forever. This lovely couple tied the knot at the beautiful Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing. The stunning waterfront location offered breathtaking views, creating a picturesque festive setting. The hotel's spacious and modern event spaces were the ideal location for the wedding ceremony and reception, providing ample room for guests to celebrate and dance the night away. Lightyear Studio captured the entire event beautifully, and we can't wait to share it with you. KM Events Management did an incredible job with planning and design, creating a stunning atmosphere for the wedding. Abhishek Decorators transformed the venue with breathtaking floral and decor arrangements. From the elegant mandap to the stunning centerpieces, every detail was perfect. Karishma Arora worked magic on Rashi, creating a pretty bridal look for her special day, while Shweta Kumari complemented the ensemble with a fantastic Mehndi design. She looked radiant in her pastel pink lengha paired with stunning jewelry, and a gorgeous smile lit up the room. Ravi looked dapper in his pastel pink sherwani and matching turban and couldn't take his eyes off his beautiful bride. Moghul Catering provided an incredible spread of delicious food, and Bredenbeck's Bakery created a beautiful cake that was almost too pretty to eat. The music supplied by Volcanik Entertainment had everyone on the dance floor, and it was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives. How did you meet your Groom, and when did you know he was "the one"?
It was a coffee meets bagel app success story. I knew he was the one after all the puzzles, game nights, lemon drops, his acceptance of my constant need for Mexican food, and quarantine time together during the pandemic!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Both of us agree that our absolute favorite time of year is Christmas. We love the lights, the decorations, the cheesy matching Christmas pajamas, and that real Christmas tree smell when you come home. We had planned a holiday walk after the snow had fallen in Boston (where we met) to go see the lights. Little did I know, Ravi had more planned. We were strolling around Christopher Columbus Park near the Boston Harbor, and when I turned around from taking a photo, Ravi was down on one knee. I'm still not 100% sure that I said yes at the moment.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I didn't want to go with the traditional red lengha, and pastels were definitely more my style. When I saw and tried on my wedding lengha, I loved the pastel pink shade and knew it was the one.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Tackling all the planning challenges that came our way together. Definitely showed us that we work well together as a team!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
We couldn't choose just one, but our family and friends danced at the sangeet, and father-daughter and mother-son dances replay in our minds. It was so special seeing so many people we love dancing and having a great time. Also... the taco bell at the afterparty was definitely a highlight :)

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
The planning process can be stressful but try your best to enjoy the week of your wedding. You worked so hard to put this all together. It's not worth stressing over things anymore. That's how we did it, and we had the best wedding weekend!

If you are like us and you never get enough of these beautiful celebrations of love, most likely you already had the opportunity to go into our Films Blog to take a peek at the amazing and captivating cinematography that Lightyear Studio created for our sweet couple Rupal & Sai, and we are sure you loved it! So, we have decided to bring you a little more about this amazing and alluring wedding. We will take you to the beautiful Lake Como, at the Villa Geno for you to witness a romantic wedding. As soon as you step in, you will notice that the lovely and peaceful natural environment was beautifully enhanced with the multicolored floral arrangements that BESPOKE Unique Weddings created and planned for this event. They were simply amazing! Definitely, this was the most perfect scenario to host the event that will conclude the wedding activities. This reception was a rollercoaster of emotions that combined an incredible atmosphere with emotional speeches that made our lovebirds drop a couple of tears of happiness and gratitude. After this emotive moment, the reception transitioned into a party thanks to the amazing talent of Luxe Event Group.
