Keswick, VA Indian Wedding by Ian’s Creations

Hi Maharanis! We think you'll love today's cheerful and chic wedding film by Ian’s Creations, with photography done by Aaron Watson Photography. Love seemed to emanate from every frame of this film, and we adored the locations, decor, and details that the glowing couple, Anjali & Gopind, chose. The designer and planner for the event, Evelyn Keyes,  worked with the florists and decorators at Couture Design, to create a glamorous event that was the perfect blend of contemporary and traditional. All the included details impressed us - the newlyweds are obviously a very thoughtful twosome, who did a great job of sprinkling special touches throughout the celebrations. A Royal Impression created beautiful stationery for the event, while food from the mouth-watering Bollywood Bistro was served, and decadent desserts from Maliha Creations and Carpe Donut thrilled the guests! The Castle Hill Cider venue was a perfect venue choice for this sophisticated couple. Their ceremony took place outdoors on The Castle Hill Cider's sprawling grounds, with the following reception taking place in the venue's equally beautiful indoor space. The venue was transformed into a twinkling dreamland filled with candles and lush florals, giving the reception a very romantic feel. Anjali looked gorgeous throughout her ceremony and reception in bridal fashions from Studio East6, with intricate mehndi by Henna Harmony, and glamorous hair and makeup by Sapna Desai. We're so happy for this adorable couple and wish them all the best on their new adventure as husband and wife! Watch more from their incredible wedding in the video below!

We hope you loved the film! We'll see you all tomorrow Maharanis!

Dear Maharanis, we can’t wait for you to watch this incredible beach side fusion wedding film by At Last Wedding Films! The gorgeous bride Moneeza, and her adorable groom Ray, radiated joy throughout the festivities, with beautiful stills captured by True Photography. The events were planned perfectly by Arielle Barels, with floral and decor executed by Excellent Designs. The most picturesque venues were chosen for the events, including Marina Village for the sangeet, and MCASD La Jolla for the ceremony and reception. We can’t get over the beautiful views of the ocean, beach, and sky pictured in this film - we can’t imagine a more gorgeous backdrop for a wedding! Maharani Moneeza seemed to literally glow in every shot as well. Schaumburg, IL Indian Wedding by White Rose Production

Dearest Maharanis, we have a very special video for you this morning! Today's film was created by White Rose Production and features Maharani Prutha and her Maharaja Chirag. After an eight year long-distance relationship, this extraordinary couple's wedding was TRULY worth the wait. It was a decadent, sophisticated event, with the sangeet taking place at the Embassy Suites Naperville and ceremony and reception taking place at the Renaissance Schaumburg. The planning and design, organized by Events by Nasir, and decor, created by Yanni Design Studio, was unforgettably glamorous, with the ballrooms draped in rich red and orange hues, enormous red floral centerpieces, and sparkling chandeliers. Fashionista Prutha looked like a queen with hair and makeup completed by Bushra Abbasi. Prutha's bridal looks were created by a who's who of the most spectacular Indian designers, including Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Priyal Prakash, and Manish Malhotra. And we can't forget to mention her drool-worthy accessories, such as shimmering Christian Louboutin heels and jewelry by Preeti Mohan and Art Karat. Every second of this magnificent affair was executed to perfection! The festivities concluded with a bang during a 1920s Hollywood Glamour-themed reception, with DJing by Shaadi Entertainment and jazz music performed by the talented Martini Lunch. Click play and enjoy the festivities!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?

We met through mutual friends while in high school and quickly became best friends. We spent long hours on the phone and told each other all of our secrets. I ended up going to the same college as Chirag and we were each other's first relationships. We both knew at that time that if we were to start dating there would be no others to follow and that our futures would be with each other only.  Eight years later and five years of long distance and here we are. :)

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?

My favorite part of planning was the India shopping trip. I was able to visit so many beautiful designers and try on so many beautiful clothes! The very first day in Delhi I had picked out my bridal lengha. I walked into the Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra Boutique in Delhi and I quickly realized I was in heaven. I wanted EVERYTHING.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

I think they loved the overall feel of the wedding. It was actually very relaxed and everyone felt they were a part of the wedding. I think people especially appreciated the decorations, clothing and the late-night food. Nisar Naimi of Events by Nisar worked with us the entire way and made the process so easy. Yanni Design Studios made the images in our head a reality. I only had to say a few words and Yanni just ran with them and transformed the venue into something even more beautiful. The Reception was also exceptional. It was the first time I heard that people did not want to leave the dance floor for the bar because the DJ was so good! (Thanks Kaushal) :) People wanted to keep dancing after the Reception ended so he just kept playing as people were cleaning up and bringing down decor.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

There was a moment when I came up to sit at the mandap. I remember looking around, looking at my parents, Chirag and then our Maharaj. I had an overwhelming sensation of being right where we were suppose to be. I was getting married to my best friend by the Maharaj who married my parents. Then I looked at Chirag again and realized were getting Taco Bell after the Vidhai was over (we were starving)!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.

I loved the Mehendi ceremony we had at my home. We had a tent placed outside decorated by Yanni, where people ate, drank and had mehendi done. It allowed for a night of reflecting and catching up. This was especially important for me as I would be moving to California shortly after the marriage. We loved the Mehendi tents that Yanni Design Studio made for the sangeet. People loved taking photos there! Also, I was a Bharatanatyam dancer since the age of 7 and was on the Raas team for all my college career so the performance element was huge for the Sangeet. I surprised Chirag with a Bharatanatyam performance and we were fortunate to have my co-Raasers and best friends come together and perform for us! Later on, we had Old Thyme Gin and Tonics and danced the night away with a live Jazz band to kick off the weekend.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

Once the wedding events begin, don't worry about anything. Everything will fall into place and turn out great! Just enjoy the moments with family and friends and soak as much of it in as you can.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)

Our mehendi artist, Unnatizart, was phenomenal. She is extremely sweet and worked so well with us. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married. We had a lot of Non-Indian people come to the wedding and they absolutely loved having henna applied! Unnati was incredibly accommodating. Also, the cake was phenomenal. We had it made through the Renaissance with a decor collaboration with Yanni. I think red roses, gold and pearls were a common theme throughout the decor and they were yet again incorporated into the cake. :)

That event was incredible, wasn't it? Have a great weekend Maharanis!

Phoenix, Arizona Indian Fusion Wedding by Something New Media

Dearest Maharanis, we are thrilled to bring you the elegant fusion wedding video of the lovely Dawn and Anand, which took place at the romantic Bella Rose Estates. This film was created by the experts at Something New Media, and we were struck by the beauty showcased in every frame, from the intricately draped ombre flower garlands, lush gardens, and cascading waterfalls. Stills were captured by the incredible Still Life Studios. The planning and design was organized to perfection by Apropos Creations, and the gorgeous florals and decor were created by the artists at Lux Florist. We were amazed at the meaningful details sprinkled throughout the ceremonies, such as the rainbow confetti and the wooden heart carvings on which guests left loving notes for the couple. These details contributed to the romantic ambiance of this film and we hope you all find inspiration in these thoughtful items - we certainly did! Also inspiring to us was the beautiful bride, who exuded sophistication in a rich cerulean sari and a sparkling, empire-waisted, white gown. Capping off the celebrations were some serious skills showcased on the dance floor, led by the DJs at Birkett Entertainment. We were thrilled by Anand dipping, twirling, and lifting Dawn effortlessly on the lit up dance floor. The night ended with guests feasting on a decadent cake created by Piece of Cake Desserts, and with a spirited dance party in which guests surrounded the newlywed couple with sparklers twinkling in the desert sky!

Maharanis, we hope you loved the film as much as we did! We'll see you tomorrow!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?

I met Channi in Las Vegas in May 2014! Little did we both know that our trip out there would lead to a lifetime journey together. I knew that this would lead to something very special after he came out to Canada to see me. He brought out a side of me that I didn't know I had!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!

For those of you that know Channi you know that he loves to surprise the people he loves! He surprised me at my front door in Toronto with a ring and flowers in hand. However, it didn't end there. I was given a postcard of Las Vegas telling me to pack my bags and that we'll be heading out to where it all began. So off I went to Las Vegas! It was the most memorable trip ever!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

I selected my outfit in a matter of a day! I didn't really have anything particular in mind but just went with it and I guess luck was on my side that day so I ended up with outfits I really liked and was happy with.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?

I think seeing the outcome of our preparations would be the most enjoyable for me. It was really nice to see our dream wedding come to life.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

The fact they were at an all inclusive resort on a beach. That was one of our main things before we started planning. We wanted our guests to enjoy themselves especially close family. I think we accomplished that.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

I think it was walking into the wedding reception. It was our last event and for me it definitely was the one where I felt really relaxed. I've always dreamed of having a beach wedding. Having that come to life and that walk into our party brings a smile to my face every time!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

Enjoy every moment! I had a great time at my wedding and would only tell every other bride to do the same. Don't stress the small stuff. Remember the bigger picture and and why you are doing all of this!

We love Mexico! But, we are also a lush for Hawaii! Check out all the details of this Indian wedding in Hawaii and we will see you tomorrow!
