Lahaina, HI Indian Wedding by All Time Media

Good morning, Maharanis! Are you ready for a new and fantastic film? I bet you do! Can you imagine celebrating your civil marriage in the magical beaches of Hawaii? If so, I recommend you to sit back because today we are taking you to Lahaina, Hawaii, for Arnee & Tanush's civil wedding festivities. How great is that? This magical moment was hosted at the beautiful outdoors of the Montage Kapalua Bay venue. It was just great! We are lucky that our friends from All Time Media filmed every detail so that we can relive it. Our lovebirds were able to enjoy that special moment as they trusted Tying the Knot the organization of their wedding events, and let me tell you that was their best decision! We have to highlight the fantastic job from Asa Flowers that, despite the glorious place and natural background, they added beautiful ornaments and flowers that elevated the glamorous-beach ambiance. And guess what? It was perfect! The night fell, and the crew from Manutea Nui E showed up to entertain everyone with dances and fantastic music. It was an unforgettable night! If you want to relive these amazing moments, go ahead and hit play. You will love it!

Visit us tomorrow for more love stories!

Our talented friends from Park Street Weddings were at The Legacy Castle capturing all the glam and glitter and believe us, there is plenty of it! Don't forget to check Maharani Christena's fashion choices! Seriously, this bride just left me in awe completely with her striking and unique style! And what about the person who swept her off her feet? Raja Jimmy was looking so neat for the most important day of his life! Tuxes never fail! So, ladies, time to get enchanted by these two lovebirds! See you on the dance floor!

Jersey City, NJ Indian Wedding by Lightyear Studio

It is Friday, ladies! The end of the month is quickly coming and we have more weddings than ever. Today, it is time for some filmy feel goods to start our well deserved weekend, and let me tell you, the Hindu flair and glitter are strong on this one! The quintessential Maharani style was there at all times and our bride Kruti was absolutely shining from top to toe. Our friends from Cinderella Bridez assisted with hair and makeup, and as we will see, their work was truly a work of art. So alluring! All the emotional and romantic moments are brought to us thanks to Lightyear Studio who created the most beautiful memento of all that went on for that day of joyous love. Are you ladies ready for some serious style extravaganza? Hit play and join Kruti & Ankit on their ravishing wedding gala. Only here, in Maharani Weddings!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Like true millennials (or so we like to think), Ankit and I met on an online dating app. It all began when I ‘swiped right’ on Ankit because I thought, “Oo this guy has nice teeth!” Priorities. So yes, our journey began quite literally at the click of a button, and never in a million years did I imagine that it would get us here today. One of our dates early on included an impromptu trip to Chicago. Ankit was going there for his Hematology conference and had asked me to join. I knew he was a keeper when he emailed me a detailed itinerary outlining fun things we would do exploring Chicago. So against my better judgment, I decided to go. After all, this itinerary included scheduled snack times and deep dish pizza. What could go wrong? I was sold.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Ankit proposed on December 30th, 2017. It was the holiday season in NYC, and we had just finished seeing The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center. Ankit did not seem like himself during the show, so I knew something was up but couldn't figure out what. Earlier that day he had locked himself out of his phone, so I thought maybe that was bothering him? We then headed over to the Affinia Hotel, where we had planned on staying the night. He urged us to check out their rooftop for a beautiful sunset. It was snowing and one of the coldest days that year, so I was almost annoyed that he wanted so badly to check out this rooftop. When we got to the rooftop, it was beautifully decorated (courtesy of our families) with a gorgeous view of the Empire State in the backdrop, and that's when he got down on one knee! I was completely surprised, and then we were later greeted by our families and went out for a nice dinner to celebrate our engagement!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Our venue was so beautiful that it did most of the work for us in terms of decor! We didn’t have a particular theme in mind but knew we wanted something simple yet elegant, which is what we hopefully reflected.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My bridal lengha is from Surat, India. I knew I wanted the traditional Indian wedding colors - there is something so beautiful about the red and gold with just a splash of green, and I figured it's a once in a lifetime event. It was surprisingly difficult to find the traditional red I was looking for in India because the trend has changed to different colors now. You could get it custom made but I didn't have that much time to spare there, so preferred to get as many things as possible that were ready made.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Everyone had such a great time! I don’t think it was one particular thing, but in general, we heard that they enjoyed the fun vibe all day.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My mom is all about surprises. So, of course, she arranges a limo for all the ladies in our family to get to the venue the night before the wedding! We jammed out in the limo, including my grandma.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
For the pre-wedding events, we kept things simple. My mehndi ceremony was at my parents’ home in NJ, and the grahshanti pooja was at a local temple nearby. We didn’t have a sangeet/garba the night before because it becomes too chaotic. Of course, as gujus, we managed to squeeze in some garba time at the temple :)

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Have fun!!! Stress out as much as you want (preferably not too much though) before the wedding, but do not forget to have fun the day of! Things will inevitably go wrong. Is it even a wedding if things don’t? To name a few: we forgot to order a cake topper, practiced our first dance for the first time the night before, the horse was late for the baraat, Ankit forgot to bring the coconut he is supposed to carry with him to be welcomed into the ceremony, and I somehow didn’t get my bridal bouquet for the walk down the aisle! Some things also work out.  For us, the forecast was showing rain all week, but it cleared up the morning of and we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony! You win some, you lose some. The important thing is that everyone has fun, including you. That’s what you’ll always cherish.

Stay with us, dolls, more glam to come!

Rajasthan, India Indian Wedding by Vivekk Vikas Photography

Hey there, dolls! Today we have a very special film that will take us all the way to the amazing Rajasthan in India to witness the highlights of Pratibha & Aditya's union. All the flair, color and glam, mixed with ancient Hindu rituals and traditions, give birth to the stunning celebrations that took place in the palatial Nahargarh Ranthambore and at the fabulous Shaury, and that we have here for your inspiration and delight. The incredibly talented team from Vivekk Vikas Photography created a highlight reel for the ages that you don't want to miss. We are absolutely loving this bride's style as well. For the reception, she rocked a saree that was a mix of indigo and deep blue with details in silver. So amazing. But the most striking feature of our Maharani, was without a doubt, her undeniable happiness and charm. Raja Aditya is one lucky groom! Hit play below and have a glimpse of the gala and let the magic of India fill your senses and souls.

Amazing isn't it? More to come!
