How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met him on Dil Mil 4 years ago. Despite being coast to coast away California to New Jersey. We fell in love at first sight. It felt like we had known each other our whole lives and were just waiting to be connected somehow. We would finish each other's sentences, have the same taste in food, we share the same birthday month, We had the same breed of the puppy when we were little. We felt like we were each other's soul mate. There were so many similarities that it didn't feel like it was a coincidence. I knew that I truly found "the one" when we were a year and a half into our relationship. No matter what happened in our lives, we still would manage to spend time to talk to each other and come see each other every month or so. I knew it then that I couldn't find anyone better than him who would fight this distance just to spend a couple of days with me in exchange to spend the rest of our lives together.

Nikit and I always love San Diego. It is one of our favorite places in Southern California. We went on our very first mini-vacation during the first year of our relationship. It had been almost three years. Nikit and I hadn't been to San Diego. He insisted that this time when he came in the summer he wanted to go to San Diego for the weekend. July 21, 2018 weekend came along and he and I took a drive to San Diego and spent the weekend there. While we were in San Diego the first thing we did was go see Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom as we both loved anything Jurassic. After we were done watching the movie we decided to go out for dinner at the very same restaurant we went during our first date 3 years ago. When we got to the restaurant we could not find parking on the streets so we were roaming for quite some time before we found one. I insisted that he parked in one of those parking garages but he was so persistent in parking by the La Jolla Cave which is the most popular attraction in La Jolla, San Diego.

When he did find parking he insisted that we go see the sea lions before we headed for dinner. I went along and said "yes" as the sun was setting and it looked absolutely breathtaking. When we were walking towards the steps where the sea lions were, he insisted again that we go all the way down. At first, I was really hesitant as I didn't want to because I was wearing heels and did not want to fall going down a rocky stair. However he convinced me, we walked down the stairs. I was so excited to see the sun setting and watching the sea lions. As I looked toward my right I saw a patio filled with pink balloons and flowers. It looks like someone was about to get surprised there. As we walked closer to the patio I noticed that the guy standing there was one of Nikit's close friend. I was shocked to see him there holding a camera. One thing lead to another and the next thing I saw was Nikit was down on one knee and asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. I was so surprised and excited I instantly said "yes". The crowd started clapping and cheering for us, slowly more of his friends surprised us by joining in to congratulate. It was truly one of the best days of our lives.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
For my Venue I knew I wanted something by the beach and in a resort that gave us the feel of being at a destination location while still being in California. We chose Hyatt Huntington Beach for our wedding ceremony and reception.
For my hair and makeup, I knew I wanted nothing but the absolute best. Ever since I have followed this Fairy God Mother on Instagram I knew I wanted her on my big day. I had a vision of how she would make me look and that vision came to reality when I saw myself as a Bride on my Wedding Day.  I hired Tamanna (Beauty byTamanna) from New York for my Wedding and Reception look.

For my pithi, mehndi and sangeet ceremony I knew I wanted Lulu (Dolledupbylulu) to glam me up and make me look absolutely gorgeous. She not only made me look stunning but she did justice with my overall look (makeup and hair) with all my heavy outfits and jewelry.  She is truly the best for South Asian brides.
For both of our Outfits, we did all our shopping in Mumbai. We went to so many stores till we decided to custom make some of our outfits.

Decor/Theme: I knew that whenever I would get married I wanted to be surrounded by fresh flowers. I wanted my mandap to look so breathtaking. We got married on mother's day weekend and we decided to stick to pink tones for our mandap. My favorite color is pink and I did not get any outfits in that color as I wanted my mandap to stand out from everything.

My mandap was custom made with fresh roses by none other than the best florist Inna from Butterfly floral and event design located in Beverly Hills, California. She and I had this vision that we kept going on for months on her iPad however, in reality, it blew me away and I was so happy the day of. I had a 51 ft catwalk that was covered in ombre pinks/red swirl rose petals along with roses boxes on the side. The catwalk started off with a rose arch that I would walk underneath. Right before I would enter the mandap there were two small pink baby elephants made out of fresh flowers signifying Lord Ganesh.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My Bridal Lengha was something that I found the hardest to select. I had so many options and so many different designers that I loved from Sabyasachi to Anita Dongre. I was persistent in getting a Sabyasachi lengha when I went to the showroom however when I tried it on it felt like it was not made for me. I saw the same style on so many brides before that it did not feel like it was my bridal outfit. That's when I decided to custom make my outfit. I always knew I wanted to wear red for my wedding day. We found this amazing high-end designer who custom made both my wedding and sangeet outfit. When I first tried the sample piece color and design I literally cried and was so excited to see my vision come to life. I couldn't wait for the final product which I did receive a few days before leaving for California. When I did my first trial.. I didn't even have my jewelry, hair or makeup on and it looked so stunning, that's when I realized I couldn't wait to put it on for my big day. I realized then that sometimes it is not always about buying designer wear outfits but more about what makes you feel like a bride on one of the best days of your life.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Everything :) From picking the venue, to choosing the flowers, to food tasting. However, my absolute favorite part was choosing our invitations cards. We did a box invitation card which was so unique and different. I had a total of 5 inserts with custom made pictures in the back of each event that signified the event details. We got so many compliments from all of our guests just with the invitation. They couldn't wait to see how everything else was planned. We even had people that we did not put on our list call to ask if they can come by to see our invitations. It was truly such a memorable and fun experience that I had with my Mom, Mother in law and Husband.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
From the Invitation cards, decor, our outfits, my makeup to the food. Guest were so amazed by every fine detail I felt like all my hard work paid off.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Yes! It was when I was walking down the aisle with my mama and mami. Right before I got on the catwalk I hugged my dad and brother and it was such an emotional moment for us. I realized then that I was leaving behind everything and walking towards a new life with someone that meant everything to me. I still cry at times when I think about that exact moment and the reaction my Dad and Brother Had.

Another one was our first dance as husband and wife. We danced to "I get to Love you" By Ruelle. It is such a beautiful song that it made me cry when I first heard it and knew this was our song when that day came. Everyone was complimenting us after our dance in how perfect the song was for us.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Try not to stress :) I know it is hard as it is the biggest day of your life. But no matter how much you plan, it is never enough. Enjoy every moment with your family and friends. It truly goes by so fast. I had such fun food tasting with my whole family for a whole month. I wish I can go back in time and replay everything again. Lastly, make sure you have someone staying with you at all times.. you will get exhausted and tired. A best friend, maid of honor, bridesmaid or cousin that can help you with the smallest things.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
For my Mehndi I had Samira Henna Designs from Texas fly out because I was in love with her skill in drawing faces. I got Nikit's face and My face drawn as cartoon version on my palms and had Ganesh in my inner arms for Good Luck.

My Bouquet was a mixture of baby pink and bright pink. It looked so stunning with my outfit.

All my Jewelry from my bangles to necklaces were from different parts of India. It was a long and tiring process of going back and forth.

More weds every day!

Really few things top a beachfront wedding, and this one is truly a marvelous example of that! Hit play below to have a glimpse of everything that went on for Iqra & Zain's day of magic!

Zain flew into my hometown in Virginia all the way from Texas with his entire family. I had the expectation that his family would come over for dinner at our house as they have done before. After their flight landed, I was texting Zain to make sure everything was okay, and providing details about dinner at our place. He wasn’t answering which was completely unusual of him. My parents then said they had to step out to run a quick errand and will be back shortly. I didn’t understand why my parents were leaving right before we were expecting guests. The next thing I know, I am all alone at home, confused about where everyone was. My sister then called me saying she was picking me up to pick up Zain’s family from their hotel. At that point, I was extremely sketched out and wondered why he wasn’t Uber-ing like he said. My sister drove out and we ended up at a small lake next to my neighborhood. My sister started running away from me so I followed her while extremely confused. From a distance a saw a bunch of people lined up on the sides of the pier and candles lit in the dusk. I walked closer and saw mine and Zain’s entire family and best friends lined up on the pier, with a trail of rose petals and candles along the entire pier. My favorite song “see the light” from the movie Tangled played whole as the sun was setting, and I ended at a heart-shaped from rose petals and candles, and Zain standing at the top of it. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was so perfect and the best part was that everyone I love, was involved in such a big moment in my life.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Zain and I got engaged on September 16, 2017, and immediately started to brainstorm on how we wanted to have our wedding. We both decided that a destination wedding is what we wanted. It wasn't easy and took a lot of convincing for both of our families to agree. After all of our research, we decided to have our wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico because of all the South Asian Wedding vendors that were available there.  At that point, all of my friends and families were thrilled and completely on board. We started by reaching out to different Travel Agencies, particularly the ones that specialized in South Asian Destination Weddings. We ended up going with DestaWed, and signed a contract with the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, MX through them. After signing with them, I decided to plan this wedding of 5 events on my own, as I used my experience of events and corporate planning into my own wedding. During the 1-year planning process, I worked with my Event Consultant for the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, which made my process as smooth as can be.

My destination wedding events kicked off with an elegant Welcome Dinner that was located on the Maracas Terrace overlooking the ocean. During this event I wanted all my guests to start feeling like they were at a wedding while also on vacation. I wore a custom made saree that went elegantly with my theme. I kicked the event off with a welcome speech, followed by a showcase of interactive Water Drums. The Water Drums caught all of my wedding guests in surprise and the party had officially begun. We ended the event with the classing wedding shoe game which made all of my guests laugh.

The second event we held was a Pakistani traditional event known as the mehndi. This event is filled with sweet feeding and dancing rituals. I wore a custom multi-colored lehenga which basically matched my LED dance floor. We kicked off this event with another show stopper surprise by including a fire show for our guests to enjoy. I kept the entertainment a secret throughout my planning process and my guests were astonished and enjoyed the spectacular show. We continued the event by having choreographed dances by my guests and myself. The event ended with an open dance floor and LED glow dhol fiesta.

The third event including my wedding ceremony. I decided to go with light coral and sea green colors to bring out the ambiance of an ocean wedding. My bridesmaids all wore a custom made sarees with white bedazzled tops and a combination of green and coral saree draping. The groomsmen all wore turquoise pants, with white tops and champagne suspenders. I wore a sea-green Pakistani dress with gold embroidery and jewelry to match. The groom wore a matching sea-green sherwani. The combinations of the bridal party outfits looked beautiful for a beach wedding. Since the ceremony took place during the sunny day, we chose the Gazebo that overlooked the ocean for our location. I entered in a horse and carriage and proceeded to walk down the aisle with both my mother and father. During the ceremony, Zain and I poured our hearts out and shared intimate vows in front of all of our guests. It was a tear-worthy and beautiful moment.

Our last event included our reception which took place in the ballroom at the Hard Rock Hotel. We had decided to do a grand entrance and had indoor fireworks go off at our entrance, and then more fireworks as we got on the dance floor. We had speeches, by our dads, sisters, and best friends. We also include a fun surprise by adding a Michael Jackson and Drake Father Daughter mix. During my first dance, we had our first set of confetti blast on the dance floor. Our guests enjoyed this event as we added 2 more confetti blasts during the open dance floor which caught them all in surprise and enjoyment. We exited with the classic sparklers send-off and hopped on our horse and carriage to take us back to our room.

To end the events, we decided to have a boat party in which we rented and sailed the Caribbean seas in a private catamaran.   It was the perfect ending to the destination wedding, as we finally were able to let loose and enjoy our vacation with our best friends.

My overall review for my wedding is that it blew my expectations beyond words. Every detail I had planned for was beyond exceptional. Having a destination wedding was the best decision I had made. There was no ounce of stress in bones the second I entered the resort. Every single one of my guests enjoyed their time with us and have spoken so highly of their experience. The advice I would like to give to future brides that want to have a destination wedding is to enjoy their planning process, as when the time of your wedding is here, it flies by so quickly. Also, do not stress about the guests that can’t make it. Not everyone you invite will have the time, or expenses to make it. All that matters is that you have the support of the people who do decide to come, and it will be a great time.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
When shopping around for my wedding dresses, I knew I wanted something unique. Traditionally, Pakistani brides wear red on their wedding days. Since my wedding was going to take place on the beach, I wanted to wear more pastel colors for my ceremony. I went shopping in New Jersey and immediately fell in love with a custom sea-green bridal dress design that I thought would look perfect for a beach wedding. For my bridesmaid, I wanted to make sure their outfits were comfortable and light but also complimented my dress. I decided to create a custom sea green, and pink saree with embellished tops. All of my bridesmaids loved the design and the pictures looked amazing in front of the Caribbean sea.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
My wedding planning experience was extremely fun, but a lot of worthwhile work. The best part of my experience planning a destination wedding was the site visit. I took a trip with my parents, maid of honor, and groom's parents to Hard Rock Hotel, Riviera Maya resort where I planned to hold all of my events. I was able to see and select all of my locations for the various events and actually envision my events put together. I spent an entire day meeting with my on-site coordinator and vendors to discuss the details for each event. I was able to be extremely productive and enjoy the resort which was harder to do during my wedding time.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
My guests absolutely loved the vacation wedding they had attended. For many of my guests, this was the first destination wedding they had attended. The idea of having a wedding while on vacation was worthwhile for every single one of my guests. The Ceremony, in particular, was guests favorite. The romantic setting of exchanging vows on the beach set the tone of the entire wedding. it was such a beautiful moment that put smiles on everyone faces.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There is not a moment that I will forget about my wedding. During my reception, my father gave a heartfelt speech. That is one moment I will never forget. He talked about our relationship from when I was younger to now. That was the first time I had started to get emotional during the wedding. That exact moment is when it hit that I was going to start a new life, in a new city with my husband and my dad would be across states. We then had our first dance to "Tu Jo Mila" and ended with style by dancing to "In My Feelings" by Drake, and "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson. It was an amazing moment.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
There are so many things I learned during the wedding process. The best advice I would like to give to Brides-To-Be is to listen to your gut. There are so many people that will give you their opinions and will tell you what they think you should do. At the end of the day, this is your day and you will remember it for the rest of your life, so do you want you want and don't please others if you are hesitant. Wear that dress you want, have the decor you like, and have that destination wedding if you want to, because your guests will love you no matter what and this it truly is a magical day just for you and your Hubby-To-Be.

Battle Road Hastings, UK Indian Wedding by Surindera Studios

We are very excited about this feature, Maharanis! Today, we ride the love plane and head overseas to the amazing and historic United Kingdom for Rutchi & Shil's beginning of their lifelong journey with a delightful invitation by Turmeric Ink! The Bannatyne Hotel and Spa Hastings housed both the ceremony and reception, and as you will witness, it definitely was the perfect place for the couple to tie the knot. The team from Dream Occasions UK Ltd brought their A-game and assisted with the enchanting floral arrangements and magical decoration that for sure fascinated all the guests attending. This feature is what I call stylish, we have a treasure in our Blog since we also featured their wedding album! Our gorgeous Maharani Rutchi was looking radiant for her big day, of course. She was dolled up beautifully by Gini Bhogal and her unmistakable talent. Glam queen in the house! Raja Shil's eyes were spinning with such beauty in front of him. After the ceremony, it was time to head down to the reception hall and start with the ravishing party that only Indian weddings are known for. DJ Narry-Calibar curated a playlist for even the most exquisite of tastes and brought the place down as the guests danced the night away in celebration of Rutchi & Shil's union. Want to see more? Hit play below and be a part of today's cinematic experience thanks to our friends from Surindera Studios! Don't miss it, ladies!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
This may sound cliché, but our story was one of fate. I was born and brought up in England but found myself moving to Perth, Western Australia in search of new experiences, and it was here that Shil and I met for the first time; but, it was actually on a trip back home to England, visiting family and friends, that I first heard of Shil.

Shil happened to be in England at the same time visiting his sister, and it turned out his brother-in-law was our mutual common ground (you know, through friends of friends, the usual 1 degree of separation between Indians!) It was through this connection one night that one of my best friends, Meenakshi, met Shil and their conversation naturally led to Perth, and me living there. My friend (the romantic matchmaker) then hounded Shil with my details, contact number and demanded he contact me. I later caught up with my friend and she tried to do the same to me - talking to me about this guy she met from Perth but that she had already taken the liberty of giving him my number anyway!

Back in Perth, a month or so later, I heard from Shil, and after much deliberation, we eventually met – it was a friendly encounter but non-eventful! We, however, stayed in touch, became friends and I guess naturally started spending more time together.  I believe the moment I realized he was “the one” was when my brother came to visit me and, although Shil and I were just friends at the time, he took a real interest in meeting my brother and spending time with him. That’s when it really clicked for us and we officially started ‘dating’!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Not only were Shil and I living in one of the most isolated cities in the world, but our families were also spread across the globe. My family was in England and Shil’s parents in Mombasa, Kenya. It was getting to Christmas time and both our families wanted to spend time with us, but not only that, mine wanted to meet Shil and his wanted to meet me. Shil already had plans to head to Kenya and invited me along, but my family also wanted to see me and meet Shil, and so we decided to squeeze in a trip to both!

We headed to England first where, unknown to me at the time, Shil confronted my Dad to ask for my hand in marriage! With his mind made up of proposing to me, he had the plans set and ready for once we got to Kenya. Having arrived in Mombasa, and met with his family, we then had one night booked at this beautiful resort, which I didn’t think much of at the time. Here we set sail on their famous ‘dhow’ ride for an evening on the river - eating and dancing the night away; after we headed to the in-house casino where I became engrossed in playing roulette and didn’t want to leave – Shil however complained of stomach pains and feeling sick so we decided to head back to our room. It was all still very unbeknown to me that something was going on as we walked back and into our room… firstly I spotted a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers sitting on the coffee table and then noticed some candles flickering on the balcony; as I stepped out, there was a trail of rose petals leading up to a daybed, which was also covered in rose petals, and perched next to it was an ice bucket holding my favorite bottle of champagne!  You would think that the picture was now perfectly painted, and it was obvious what was coming next, but no, not to me – I just sat down on the daybed and expressed how romantic it all was! It was then, at that moment, when Shil got down on his knee, presented me with a ring and, well the rest gets a bit blurry, but after some tears and realizing this is actually happening, I obviously said “yes!”

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
 Venue:
I simply wanted something outside of the hustle and bustle of London; a quaint countryside venue, but this proved to be quite difficult at the start.  It needed to be somewhere that could cater for not just Indian food, but also the usual Indian wedding guest numbers (and although we wanted to keep it small and intimate, we still had 250 guests!), plus it needed to be close to Kent, my family home. After many unsuccessful phone calls, viewings by my parents and far too much ‘googling,’ I finally came across the Bannatyne Spa Hotel in Hastings, East Sussex (on the border of Kent) – it was perfectly nestled away from the main roads and surrounded by some beautiful gardens; on calling them up with our requirements, and as soon as they said they could meet our arrangements, I was on the phone pronto to my parents back in England for them to get a viewing asap! Despite not having hosted an Indian wedding at their venue before, the team was amazing to work with and they assisted to our every need. What worked well was that we had the whole hotel exclusively booked out for our family and friends for the entire wedding weekend, and considering there were many guests traveling from across the UK and abroad, it made the entire experience entertaining and truly complete.

Décor Theme:
I wanted a regal, traditional, rustic and antique theme; the colors of choice were navy, antique gold, magnolia and deep purple/red hues which contrasted well together; I wanted simple yet classy, with the sense of old India, and the team at Dream Occasions turned my thoughts and imagination into reality. I met with them only twice before the big day – once at the venue and then at their studios, and prior to that it was a couple of Facetime sessions from Australia; however, in what I thought would not be enough time, it was plenty for them to work their magic!

Catering:
We chose Madhu’s as we had a great experience with them for my sister’s wedding and you’re guaranteed that Madhu’s will deliver with mouth-watering, exceptional cuisine. I feel that having good, high-quality food for your guests is a key part of not just your wedding day, but any celebration!

Hair and Make-up:
Again, from my sister’s experience, I decided to work with Gini Bhogal, and it was a real pleasure. I am not a make-up person at all, but Gini was so calm and composed when I went to visit her for my trial, she put me at ease and I knew I could trust her on the day.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
The outfits were probably the most distressing part of the whole process. Being in Perth there are very limited Indian stores, let alone haute couture Indian bridal boutiques! I did come across some old Auntyji-style Punjabi suits though…

I knew I wanted a Lengha and traditional bridal red/shades of red for the Hindu ceremony. That was all I knew - now all I needed to do was to find it; people say that you’ll know it when you see it, and that’s what happened to me. I had no luck online, but that was my only choice being in Perth; however, as luck would have it, I was back in England for our engagement party and managed to squeeze in some essential wedding shopping in London - that’s when I spotted ‘The Outfit.’ It was distinct; it was different; it had the most beautiful embroidery – unlike anything I had seen anywhere else, and I had seen plenty by this point! The choli was of a deep-red colored fabric, which was so delicately and intricately decorated with pearls and beads on the neckline, the back, and the sleeves, and the Lengha contrasted magnificently with its golden-embroidered flowers on blood-red soft cotton fabric.

My reception outfit was a whole other story. It was a nightmare to sort out and deal with the retailer – I had a look, an image, pictures of designs and styles for an evening cocktail gown, but liaising with the ‘team’ was an ordeal, especially as I was living in Perth, the retailer was in London and the designer in India! In the end I didn’t quite get what I wanted, but with only a week or so to go before the big day, and with a million and one other things to do, I just had to go with it; luckily, as my fabulous hair and make-up stylist said, all I need is big hair, perfect make-up and a piece of statement jewelry – and she was right!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The food tasting! I am a complete food fanatic and tasting the exquisite dishes prepared by the marvelous Madhu’s team was not just delectable, but a real treat as I had always wanted to experience the life of a food critic – even if it was just for a day!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
I’m a bit of an old soul and I love live music, especially jazz, blues, and soul genres, so hiring a saxophonist was truly special.  We picked two great tracks and the saxophonist coordinated with them well. Our grand entrance brought an exhilarating and exciting start to the night – everyone was on their feet dancing, clapping, cheering as my husband and I danced our way in – it was a remarkable moment!

Then there was our first dance.  There were no particular or practiced dance moves, but it felt smooth and sophisticated as we were both just so in the moment, and then Shil embarrasses me with a looong kiss… that led to more cheers, but also some awkward comments... (so embarrassing)It’s amazing what the power of music can do to the atmosphere and the ambiance - making those moments so memorable.

Throughout the day there were a number of negotiations going on between the ladies and the groomsmen, but they weren’t giving anything away and Shil was being completely stubborn. It all, however, came to a head at the Vidai when we were stopped in our tracks as my ladies banded together, marched in front of our car and prevented us from leaving if the groomsmen didn't hand over some cash – eventually, and luckily, they did cough up and the whole ordeal was extremely entertaining to watch!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
“Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.”

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
My make-up and hairstylist, Gini Bhogal, was an absolute legend – I had no jewelry whatsoever for my reception outfit, and not liking the outfit itself didn’t help either.  Luckily however Gini, on the morning of the wedding day (!), saved the night by sourcing some stunning jewelry for me to wear from the beautiful ‘Mara and Elle’ collection. The ensemble worked wonders and I am so grateful that it all came together in the end.

A big thank you to all those who kept me sane and supported us – you know who you are! And a special mention to our families for their assistance in making it all happen, and to my friend Diana – she was my late-night ‘distress’ helpline and ran around performing last-minute errands for me across Australia to England, thank you!

More to come, ladies, stick around!

Philadelphia, PA Indian Wedding by Lightyear Studio

Great news, dear daydreamers! Today's featured wedding film has just arrived and we can't wait to share it with you to keep on nurturing those ravishing ideas. It comes from Philadelphia and you can definitely feel the spring/summer vibes of the spree. Flowers were blooming and the majestic trees, dress in tones of green, olive, teal, and all earthly colors. It was just meant to be that the color palette chosen by today's couple, reflected in a way, the freshness of their surroundings and the immense purity of their love. As we will witness, thanks to our friends from the visually eclectic team of Lightyear Studio, the ceremony, and reception were just something else. They were both hosted at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing, and the choice couldn't have been better. The venue was looking absolutely rocking and welcomed Maharani Amy and Raja Darshan in all their newlywed glory. Partyland Sajawat Decorator understood the importance of the season accurately and came up with the enchanting floral designs that decorated our bride's path to the aisle, and the entire reception scenography. We are loving this couple and we know you will love them too! There is just one way to find out, and that is to let yourself be enchanted by the cinematic experience of what was Amy & Darshan's nuptials. Join us!

Stay with us Maharanis, more glam and charm from our brides yet to come!
