Kansas City, MO Indian Wedding by Aria Cinema Films

We are sure you have already checked today's gallery taken by Rahul Rana Photography! If not, the following highlight reel is the perfect way to start getting into what was Ash & Sarah's memorable nuptials, coming from Kansas City. Our featured film comes thanks to the fascinating job of the crew from Aria Cinema Films, who as we already know, operate cameras in such a way that virtually makes you feel like another guest! Truly a cinematic experience. It is also no secret that we are huge fans of the enchanting melodies of live musicians that lend their gift for the newlyweds to dance and unite their souls and bodies through sound. Willowbrook, IL Pakistani Wedding by Maha Studios

Dear Maharanis I’m seriously blown away with today’s dreamy couple, Summaiyah and Raheel, who tied the knot last summer in a fun, romantic and colorful Pakistani wedding in Chicago! Maha Studios photographed and filmed the heart-warming affair that first gathered all the attendees at the amazing Ashton Place for a vibrant pre-wedding night. The following Nikkah ceremony, at this same spot, was all about the couple and it displayed an elegant minimalist design with gentle and soft colors created by Afrin Designs. They continued the celebrations at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago for a wonderful Walima celebration that was beautifully set up with a scintillating theme also by the creative Afrin Designs! Our bride really shined through her wedding events with a series of intense and gorgeous bridal looks while Raheel also donned a collection of kingly outfits! The highly sought-after Anmol Catering delighted the guests with its fantastic culinary skills that was with no doubt the cherry on top of this extraordinary night! I hope you love this highlight film as much as I do!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I've dreamt about having my makeup to be done by Mehwish Khalid since I was in high school! The simplicity of her makeup and how she made every bride still look natural was something I really hoped to be a part of one day and my dreams came true! She is the sweetest and most down to earth person I've met throughout my wedding planning. Another person that I absolutely loved working with was Afrin Designs. She brought all the ideas that my family and I had in mind to life. The minimalist designs and soft colors she uses is something that I've been looking for and she perfectly executed every single detail which all the guests loved, especially the mehndi event decor! Afrin was so easy going and amazing to work with, I'll definitely be going back to her for any future events and have already recommended future brides to choose her! When it comes to photography, something I'm very passionate about, I wanted to make sure I went with the right photography team which I absolutely did - Maha Studios. Zainab and her team were so patient and fun to work with and made my husband and I look amazing in the photos and videos. They told us step by step what to do which made it less stressful and made everything feel so natural. Lastly, working with the owner and his partner of Ashton Place, Dr. Syed Quadri and Punit Uncle were so helpful! They made sure that everything would be exactly the way we wanted things to be presented while Dr. Quadri was planning his own daughter's wedding! They took all our stress and worries away in a heartbeat and made us feel at ease. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect team of vendors!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process for me was definitely the little details from making all the bangle pillows for the bangles station for the mehndi event, to packing all the goodie bags for the wedding day. Just sitting down with your family doing wedding preparations and listening to wedding songs is always such a memorable moment especially when it's your own wedding!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The guests were absolutely in love with the decor of the day of the mehndi! Everyone loved the colors, the bangles station, and the food stations. Afrin and her team did a phenomenal job on really making it feel like a mehndi event, including the cute lanterns on the tables! The food at the mehndi was chosen through Ashton Place and there were different ethnic foods that night - everyone really enjoyed themselves and thought the menu was really good.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Two really special moments from the day of the wedding would be during and after the Nikkah ceremony. I was in another room during the ceremony so I wasn't able to see in person however it was captured on video - the moment my husband said "I accept Summaiyah Jabeen as my wife" - he had the biggest smile on his face which I thought was such a sweet moment. After the ceremony, it was time for me to walk down the aisle in front of hundreds of people. I was very nervous but the moment I saw my husband waiting for me on stage, my nervousness went away and everything just felt perfect.

Happy Tuesday!

Long Eddy, NY Indian Fusion Wedding by Park Street Weddings

What better way to celebrate than when the entire country is also celebrating? This year's 4th of July will always be remembered by our lovebirds and not only for the country's independence. Happiness comes from unsuspected timing and places and this wedding is no exception. From deep in the meadow, surrounded by mountains and the singing of the birds, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city of New York, Park Street Weddings carefully crafted for us to witness, the earthly union between Cassandra and Anu. Events Cherished was on the steering wheel the entire time, making sure that every detail went as smooth as the leaves touching the couple during the ceremony. And speaking of leaves, who better to handle the amazing decoration and floral arrangements than Jill from Earth Girl Flowers, definitely out of this world and in tune with the energies surrounding love! When the moon comes, the body knows it is dancing time. Mohnish from Desi Star Dj's made everybody jump out of their seats and join the dance floor. As this happened, Cima Bue and their fireworks gave an incredible scenography for our couple's Indian wedding grand finale. So join us at the beginning of Anu and Cassandra's marriage journey only here on Maharani Weddings.

What a wonderful way to start out week don't you think? See you tomorrow!

Atlanta, GA Indian Wedding by Regal Palette Studio

Today I have the honor of bringing you the eye-catching highlight film of Komal and Bhavin, shot by the remarkable cinematography team of Regal Palette Studio. We are being whisked away to Atlanta, where Crimson Bleu Events brought to life the unique wedding dreams of the couple at the exclusive The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North. The planning experts set the stage for their happily-ever-after, executing a fabulous ceremony and reception and working side by side with Utopian Events who designed and built the most spectacular scenery for both occasions. Regal Palette Studio captured Komal’s impeccable hair and makeup in every stellar moment, which it was all creation of Makeup and hair by Sweta, I especially adore the sparkling gown she picked to show off at the dance floor as she danced with her charming Raja Bhavin. Combining traditional food and perfect service, Cafe Bombay Restaurant and Catering delivered a remarkable dinner that delighted every attendee. Hit play and experience the charm of this gorgeous Indian nuptials!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met while I was going to college in Philadelphia.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
I had been telling him for a while that I wanted to get professional photos taken of my dog (yes I’m one of those crazy dog mom lol) so one day last summer he called me and said he had found a pet photographer and that she would take pictures of Oreo (our dog) and some pictures of the two of us as well. So he planned the day and time and all I had to do was show up dressed for the photo shoot. The photoshoot took place at Piedmont Park one of my favorite locations in Atlanta. We took a bunch of pictures throughout the park (I did find it a little weird that the so-called “pet photographer” was taking more pictures of us than our dog but I had no idea what was to come. At the last photo spot, he got down on one knee and proposed with our family and friends watching from a distance.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My mom went to India and did most of my wedding shopping. I did have a specific color (blue) in mind For my reception dress, however, I was unable to find a dress I liked in that color. I was able to incorporate that color into our Decor for our reception.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The beginning stages of wedding planning were probably the most enjoyable. Once we got deeper into the planning process and realized how much went into it started to get stressful. Cake tasting was definitely the easiest and most enjoyable.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests loved the decor, live painter, and all the small little details

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Enjoy the whole wedding planning process. It can definitely be stressful at times however once the time comes it goes by so fast so enjoy every moment.

Happy Monday, Maharanis! I hope your week is off to a great start!
