San Francisco, CA Sikh Wedding by White Rose Production

Oh my goodness, this NorCal wedding film by White Rose Production is an absolute cinematic marvel. The shots, the action, and the energy captured in the clip electrifies us! Also, the fashions in the video are so lux. Maharani Amrit was a goddess in a delicate petal pink lehenga by Frontier Raas and perfectly applied henna by Mehndi By Kamal. Beauty gurus from Lilly’s Beauty World whipped up a sensational hair and makeup look for the bride, which included rosy cheeks, shimmering eyes, and a polished updo. She glowed from every angle. And while we usually don’t covet the groom’s outfit, Alex’s pearl encrusted sherwani was an exception! Such a gorgeous, fashion forward couple. The duo’s love for each shined brightly during their ceremony at the Sikh Institute of Fresno, and the film captured their admiration for each other so vividly. Next, we were invited into their reception at the historic San Francisco City Hall. The ornate venue was completely decked out in sophisticated decor and green touches by To Have & To Hold Florals, with planning and design overseen by Sky Weddings and Events. The video ends on an emotional note as the couple departs the hall, ready to embark on their grand adventures as husband and wife. Maharanis, we promise that you don’t want to miss this dazzling clip. Hurry and hit play to experience all the magic!

Breathtaking, right Maharanis? We'll be back tomorrow morning with another inspiring wedding film!

Queens, NY Indo-Caribbean Wedding by NY PhotoVideo

Aminta and Rohan met through their local temple when they were children. As years went by, Aminta noticed that Rohan was becoming more profound, philosophical, and, handsome. Likewise, Rohan was struck by Aminta’s lovely singing voice, curls, and intellect. As they got to know each other, they realized they shared the same birthday of November 10th! Adorable. We’re sure they’ve had some incredible birthday celebrations together, but nothing could top their magnificent Hindu Guyanese wedding weekend. We wept throughout their touching wedding film. The artists at NY PhotoVideo have such a fantastic ability to capture emotional moments perfectly, and we were so moved by the love between the duo and their family members while watching this clip. We were dazzled by Aminta’s bridal look, with voluminous hair by Heena Das Beauty and a glittering lehenga. If you’re craving more info on this gorg couple’s celebrations, check out their recent feature on our site with photographs by the amazing Nidji Photography. You can also take a gander at their full gallery, and make sure to scroll below to read up on the all the behind the scenes scoop according to Maharani Aminta!

Description of Day:

Our highlight video for our Hindu ceremony captured the essence of our love for each other and the sanctity of the entire day of our marriage. We got married on our birthdays (yes, we share the day) at the beautiful Jamaica Performing Arts Center in Queens, NY. We wanted to think outside of the box and get married in a place no Hindu wedding had taken place before, yet we wanted to stay close to the community we love to serve. JPAC, a hidden gem and landmarked space in New York City, was absolutely perfect. My parents, who hosted the ceremony and worked so hard to make sure every detail was perfect for the entire week, were in awe by its beauty. I remember the excitement in my mom's eyes when we walked in for the first time to see the space. She knew that is where she and my dad would walk me down the aisle to marry my soulmate.

Elegant Floral Design transformed the venue, which serves as a theater and performing arts space, into what looked like a palace for a King and Queen's wedding. Our wedding itself, officiated by our family priest Pandit Chunelall Narine, was the most magical ceremony. Every step was explained with such detail, and every act we took held so much meaning. I was crying practically the entire time - first in my yellow lehenga (before seeing Rohan) because I was reminiscing about childhood and it hit me that I was GETTING MARRIED, that my parents, who bathed me as a baby were about to wash the feet of Rohan and I, that I'd miss my two little sisters Kamelia and Hemma tremendously, etc. Then, I came out for the second time, this time in my grander red lehenga,  I caught Rohan's eye as I entered in a dholi, being carried by six of my dear male cousins. Rohan was over the moon with happiness - I could see it in his smile, and in the huge grin on his face. Tears of joy flowed from mine. We love each other so very much, and guests said that it showed through every moment of the ceremony. They are still talking about how touching and heartfelt our wedding was and also that they felt they were part of a royal court watching their King marry his Queen.

Rohan and I are always joking around with each other.  There were several moments of that during our ceremony - we even played footsie under the mandap!

One of the most memorable and barrier-breaking moments in our ceremony was when Rohan decided to break with tradition and bow at my feet after garlanding me. It is not something you ever see, but he has always viewed me with respect, with love, and with equality. He has done this in the past, but never in front of hundreds of people! He says I am his goddess and this was a demonstration of that feeling. I felt very blessed at that moment and it was as if we were the only two people in the room.  We deeply admire each other. After garlanding each other, we held hands really tightly. We were ready to be married, and to start our lives together.

Thanks for sharing Aminta! Have a wonderful Wednesday Maharanis!

Pasadena, CA Wedding by Robles Video Productions

Here at Maharani Weddings, when a film from Robles Video Productions crosses our desk, we know we’re in for a sweeping, cinematic treat! From the very first frame of the edit, we were immersed in Jinal and Rajiv’s beautiful world. Seriously Maharanis, this film is bursting with the most dazzling bridal inspiration, and you should definitely take a gander if you’re in the process of planning your own special day! We were blown away by the couple and their bridal fashions - they were adorned to perfection and were dressed from head to toe in the richest apparel and accessories. Jinal truly resembled an Indian queen in her decadent burgundy lehenga and a cascading maang tikka and necklace. Like everything else about this wedding, Jinals’s hair and makeup by Beauty By NG Nida Gazi was a masterpiece! Maharaja Rajiv’s fashion game was also on point in a lavishly embroidered sherwani! Our breath was taken away when we saw their outdoor ceremony decor. We can honestly say that this is one of our very favorite mandap setups ever! Hats off to Blue Lotus Insights for doing such a fabulous with the planning and design! The Langham venue served as the magnificent backdrop, and is about as close to a SoCal castle that we’ve seen. Check it out if you’re a SoCal bride looking for a fairytale wedding locale! The ambiance was pure whimsy, with delicate yellow floral structures coming together to create the romantic mandap. After watching this wedding film over and over, we simply cannot wait to see the photos of the event by Callaway Gable! Sit back, relax, and enjoy Jinal and Rajiv’s same day edit by Robles Video Productions!

Have the most fabulous weekend Maharanis! We'll see you on Monday morning!

Itasca, IL Fusion Wedding by Old North Film Company

Though the weather was freezing outside on Katie and Neeraj’s wedding day, the environment inside their Eaglewood Resort & Spa venue couldn’t have been warmer! This loved up affair included two matrimonial ceremonies and oodles of excited guests ready to celebrate the much beloved couple! We absolutely loved the couple’s fashions for both events. Maharani Katie wore a coral lehenga for the Indian ceremony and slipped into a diaphanous white gown with a jewel encrusted bodice for the second ceremony. We love it when brides at fusion weddings pay homage to both cultures, and Katie did a fantastic job accomplishing this! Neeraj also looked incredible, in a regal sherwani for the Hindu ceremony, followed by a strapping tux! The event’s photographer from Vrai Photography shared that her favorite moment of the night was when Neeraj cut of the officiant with a joyous “I will!” causing Katie and all the guests to laugh until they cried! After the emotional ceremonies, Katie, Neeraj, and their guests were whisked off to the reception soiree, which was decorated lavishly in draping and colorful flowers by the artists at Dahlia Blooms and tangerine hued uplighting by Dream Occasions! We were hanging on to every word in the speeches given by the newlyweds’ family and friends, and loved that a couple members of the bridal party were in Green Bay Packers hats! Definitely some fierce Packers pride going on! The reception program was extraordinary, including dances by Neeraj’s nieces and nephews and a Ukrainian dance troupe bringing the house down! Katie and Neeraj then took over the dance floor to music by Belle Music and Spinnin' Discs, and guests partied all night long to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Mehrotra! Maharanis, hit play to enjoy the action packed wedding film by Old North Film Company!

We're so happy it's almost Friday! We'll cap off the week with another fabulous wedding film! See you tomorrow Maharanis!
